Reviews on South Beach Classics

Ted is an honest and straight shooting guy.  He was personable and very friendly. Ted was up front with the car and gives a fair price.  I don't understand why some others  gave a bad review.

I purchased a classic car from this dealership based on photos on the dealership's website. The photos showed a car in pristine condition--both interior and exterior. The price charged for the car reflected this condition.  When I received the car, after extremely difficult and lengthy conversations regarding shipping, it didn't start and the interior was filthy and missing parts, while the exterior was dented and dinged. The car in no way resembled the photos. When I called to discuss the situation, the owner was abusive. I would never recommend the online purchase of a car from this dealership.

This was fun. We took our time walking through looking at all the cars very interesting. Some were old and rusted and probably high-priced. It was free for you to come in and look at the cars and the help were very nice. It's definitely worth the stop and look.  enjoy

Now my car has apparently disappeared from the lot, and neither Ted Vernon nor Robin Ziel Vernon will tell me where it is located. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any car dealer or mechanic. I don't think I've ever dealt with a more unethical business. Stay away!

Ted Vernon's place is a real treat.  There are a lot of classic cars there to look at and explore.  He is a very personable man and I get the impression he is willing to work with anyone on consignment or the purchase of a car.
I downgraded only because he was very sensitive with us as we were considering different models.  Not every car is for every one and I am looking for something very specific.  He actually huffed at us under his breath and walked away refusing to deal with us any longer.  Very unprofessional.  So, if you want to get a GTO, Chevelle, Charger, Coronet, etc., I think it is well worth your time to stop and research.  Just deal with Ted with a gentle stroke.
