Reviews on Kendall Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram

As others have stated, drive right past this dealership and keep going.  They are crooks and scam artists.  They sold me a worthless GWC Warranty and now refuse to help.  Impossible to get in touch with them.

I have taken my car to other dealers and every time I do they always offer a car wash. At this dealer you have to ask for it. I had been coming for 2 years and NEVER was a car wash offered. Every time I have asked for it they are always "too busy". They justified being too busy with the fact that it was a Saturday which is funny because it is the first time I bring my car on a Saturday. I always come during the week so then what is the excuse then? When I bought my car in Central Florida the dealer sold it to me with Nitrogen in the tires. I have brought my car here for 2 oils changes since then. The first time the tires were not touched the second time I brought it I mentioned it to the service advisor he said the machine was out of order. Honesty when I first started bring the car here I was thrilled and now every time I come it just makes me want to never come back. I think this will be my last visit here. The only good thing about this dealer is the service advisor Paula. She is such a sweetheart and the only reason I have ever come back.

Terrible experience with this dealership including compulsive lying and deception.  After being told the truck I was inquiring about was "in sight and available" I made a 2 hour drive to find out that the truck had been sold 3 days ago.  I even made it clear that I was traveling a distance to purchase this truck.  The sales staff is arrogant and rude.  All the sales manager, Angel, did was smile at me arrogantly and defer the blame to the Internet sales manager, Elizabeth, who in turn did the same. Very unprofessional.  The lack of communication and customer service was baffling and down right rude.  Don't just take my review of this place into consideration, they are 2 1/2 stars for a reason. Do some shopping/research and steer clear of these clowns.

Beware of this dealer.  They are dishonest.  I agreed to a purchase price and then when I got the contract, it had increased magically by over $2,000.   They will lie to your face and talk to you like you are stupid.   I walked in ready to buy and they tried ripping me off.  I walked out immediately and within 30 mins bought my car from another dealer.   Three days later the Internet sales manager, Angel called to tell me they would deal with me.  This is no way to treat a customer.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience leasing our 2015 Jeep Wrangler from this location. Rene was motivated to get us not only the car that we wanted, but to also meet our price-point. I know that car buying is usually not the most pleasant experience, but everyone was extremely helpful, making what could have been a very tedious process the exact opposite.

Rene made sure to stay by our side as our deal progressed, and we couldn't be happier that he was there for us! Thank you Kendall Dodge for taking care of us, and allowing us to start the new year on the right foot! :)

RE: Fuel Pump Relay P54/NHTSA 14V-530

To whom it may concern;

On August 8th, 2014, my Dodge Durango Citadel would not start. I called AAA, and had it towed to Kendall Chrysler. I had initially called Chrysler Dodge customer service (800-423-6343: Spoke to Mike). Mike informed me that the dealer should be able to work with me on the issue, despite having just passed the 36,000 miles under the warranty of the vehicle, because of a Dealership Loyalty Program.

The dealership offered to do the work and only charge me a deductible (plus 7% tax), when I explained what Mike had stated.  I would now like to request a reimbursement for this, as the issue was the fuel pump, as stated under the recall P54/NHTSA 14V-530.

On December 5th, 2014, I returned a call to Elissa at Dodge Customer Assistance (855-525-5085, x 7205013). Elissa informed me that Dodge is currently not reimbursing customers for this recall, because they do not know what part is causing the problem. Elissa told me that I needed to wait for a second recall letter to be sent to me, to find out if Dodge would be reimbursing for this recall. When I asked Elissa how I could escalate this matter, she said there was no other department or supervisor I could speak to. I asked Elissa why the first letter indicated "Chrysler will repair your vehicle free of charge (parts and labor). If you have already experienced this condition and have paid to have it repaired, please send your original receipts and/or adequate proof of payment to the following address for reimbursement. Once we receive and verify the required documents, reimbursement will be sent to you within 60 days." Elissa stated that this was "standard language" put into these recall notices, but in this case, they could not reimburse me at this time, and there was nothing more I could do about it.

I find this extremely dissatisfactory, and not only lacking in customer service but blatantly misguiding customers. I am a business owner myself, with little time to spend and I have now wasted more time writing letters and providing documents due to this misguidance and misrepresentation.

If you have any questions, please contact me for discussion.  I appreciate your assistance with this matter.

If you need service and come to this dealership, you will go insane. The advisers have no sense of urgency, I came in to fix a leak, they told me to come back the following week, I came back the following week, they told me to wait another two days. You know what, I don't have time to be driving back and forth each week to see if the dealership can fix my problem.  If you need an oil change, I hope you have ALL DAY to waste, because you will be sitting there ALL DAY.  This dealership and its leadership (or lack there of) is just the worst. I hope they go out of business again.

Turns out the engine wasn't bad.  A second tech looked at it and actually did an inspection and diagnostic.  The dealership was unable to do any of the recalls on the Jeep since they could not order parts, nor were they able to quote any sort of price for repair on any of the problems they found in the diagnosis.  The dealership did waive the diagnostic fee after I told them I was not happy with their service, but I still wouldn't take my Jeep back there.  According to their service people they do not even have the equipment to determine what is causing my check engine light to come on.

Leslie G. | 2014-07-17

Absolutely awful. .... came for an oil change and left without a/c and service manager Tony's response was it is no one's fault at the dealership. .... r u kidding me?  This is se ond and last time I am bringing car here....last time they had my car for almost a month trying to fix the bluetooth.

Let's face it, buying a car is not a pleasant experience, unless of course you're purchasing an exotic or anything north of $100K. For the average car buyer the experience is a roller-coaster of salesmen, managers, lots of talk and time ultimately rendering you so dazed, confused and beaten you just want to sign and drive not overly concerned with what you're signing or what it's ultimately going to cost you.

I came to Kendall Dodge a few weeks ago and left empty-handed. We could not come to terms on the deal and during the course of the negotiation I realized that the car in question wasn't exactly what I wanted. A few weeks and several dealers later I found exactly what I was looking for online. It turns out it was at Kendall Dodge. The truck had arrived recently and had all of the options we were looking for.

As soon as I walked through the door Rod, our salesman from the prior visit recognized me and said "I have your truck here". I told him I had seen it online and he said "it may be sold let me check in the computer while you head towards a lot". He went on to tell me he'd meet me out there with the key if the truck wasn't sold. I walked out and sure enough there she was sitting in the back corner of the lot just like I had hoped.

Rod was able to pull up the previous work we had done on my trade a few weeks prior and we negotiated a deal that I felt was fair. Financing was relatively smooth and the gentleman who handled the transaction was pleasant. I even had the opportunity to meet the GM and share some dialogue about common interests.

Overall a pretty good car buying experience. I got the truck I wanted, optioned the way I wanted for a few thousand less than I expected to spend. I took delivery the same day, got a fair number for my trade, if not generous, and got a great interest rate on the financing. The only reason I gave them four stars versus five was because it felt like we were there an eternity. They could use a few TVs and a waiting area. Even then everyone at the dealership was kind pleasant and more than anything patient with us as we had three kids running around wreaking havoc on the joint.

If you're in the market for a car and these folks have it in stock, I'd say come by talk to Rod and give them a try.

Jordan C. | 2014-05-31

Horrible. Just horrible. What kind of dealership makes people with appointments wait for people who are just walking in. Also while waiting I thought about going over to the waiting area. Normally they have some coffe or something to hold you by. Well they had regular coffee alright on the worlds most disgusting table. I have to say regular coffee because if I wanted any other type it would have cost me. All i wanted was a key and it programed. They made me pay three seperate times. One for they key one for the cut and then for the program. This is the last time I am ever going to this dealership. For parts, service, or a new car.  One redeeming factor. Is Ms. Bean she is super sweet. About the only good part about this dealership is her.

Hector O. | 2014-05-16

I see a lot of people rating this dealer with a 1 star review and I find it odd because we just leased a 2014 Dodge Durango from our sales person Raul Sarduy (not sure if I spelled his last name correctly) and dealt with Hector the Manager as well. The customer service we were provided with was exceptional at all times. The only small detail that was missed was that Henry (one of the other managers that was substituting for Hector at one moment) told my husband that the car we wanted did have the back lift for the trunk and when he drove off with the vehicle after signing the papers and all he realized that it didn't have it.

This is the only detail that I really wanted on my car because I use the trunk plenty of times due to job and kids but unfortunately he was mislead.. I really wished I would of had the lift still.

Other than that, the service was great and highly suggest Raul as a sales person.

Drove 3 hours to look at a car for our son based on conversations had with owner prior to making the trip. Arrived and got nothing but the typical car dealership  song and dance once we arrived. Worse part was it was very late, and they made zero effort to shoot straight with us or expedite the process knowing how far we drove. AND they left us sitting in an office alone for what felt like eternity without even an offer of a cup of water. Meanwhile salesman pops his head in,  chewing on food, to tell us we can meet with finance 'soon.' 20 minutes later still waiting. I have an 800 credit rating, which they knew, it would have taken them 5 minutes to give us the APR they were offering! They know darn well what they can and cannot offer. It's all a big game. Needless to say, we walked out. It was around 10:00 when we left. Three hours later we were home. Got a call today to come back but no firm numbers in writing ... just come on down and talk. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Inventory is overpriced at best.

I wish i could give ZERO stars...

This is absolutely...without question...the worst car dealership i have ever dealt with.  I purchases a brand new vehicle there back in July and everything from the car buying process through the servicing i have received has been horrible.  All the individuals i have dealt with have been dishonest and unpleasant.  This place has no interest in servicing its customers...and it shows.

Nanette B. | 2013-11-19

If I could give them less stars, I would. I dropped my car off at 1:30 pm yesterday for an oil change. My check engine light was on and there was a recall for some sensor. I told them I need my car at the latest last night and to call me if anything couldn't get done. I called back at 5:30 and was told the service manager was with another guest and would call me back. I then called back at 8:00 when I still hadn't heard anything and was told the service department was now closed. It is currently 8:30am the next day, and I'm at the dealer waiting for my car. I got here about half an hour ago and, this just blows me away, THEY DIDN'T KNOW THE STATUS OF MY CAR! The guy here told me they could get it done in 20 minutes and I could be on my way but offered no explanation for the lack of communication and no compensation for the inconvenience they have caused. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Great team of sales guys purchased my wifes new car here and these guys treated great. They earned a customer for future car purchases for sure! Thanks to all the guys

This dealer has terrible service. Their interest in your vehicle is non-existent. I took my vehicle for maintenance service and some warranty work and they failed to complete either one correctly. After two weeks of waiting for the work to be completed they told me to take my vehicle as is and be happy with it. It was in worse condition than it went in there. I had to contact Chrysler directly and was told to go to a different dealers service department. The negligence they have shown for my vehicle and safety far exceeds their incompetence.

Sleazy, lackadaisical, untrustworthy, chauvinistic, apathetic liars.

I've been looking for an Audi station wagon with a manual transmission for about a year. My wife grew up driving manuals, and much prefers those over automatics. A manual Avant is a very rare car, and Kendall Dodge listed a 2006 on eBay for a good price: $13,990. I made an offer on the car and got a call the next day. Spent half a day going back and forth on the phone trying to negotiate on price. Finally at closing time the salesman, Jose Abreu, said he'd check with his management and call me in the morning. He sent me an email the next morning saying that the car had been sold the night before, which was odd, since he didn't mention it being sold when he talked to me that same evening. Whatever. I chalked it up to them wanting to get me out of their hair and moved on. Funny thing is, four days later they still hadn't removed the ad for the car from eBay or AutoTrader.

The next week a receptionist at Kendall Dodge called me and asked if I'd like to set up an appointment to test drive the 2006 Audi. I was a bit surprised, telling her that I was told the car was sold. She assured me it was still in available, and we set up an appointment for 1pm on Friday. I took the day off work and left early in the morning for the four hour drive to Miami with my wife (so she could drive the Audi back) and our six-month-old son (because we have no one to look after him).

At about 11am, we called the dealership to let them know that traffic would make us about an hour late for our appointment to see the Audi. We were assured that was no problem, and that someone would be there to see us no matter when we arrived.

We got the the dealership and were cordially greeted by a man who apologized for his poor English. We told him we were there to see the 2006 Audi and he told us to follow him. We sat down in his office, and he said he would go check to see if they still had the car. This was mildly alarming. Looking around, it was obvious why they said there would be someone there to greet us, since the place was crawling with salesman who obviously didn't know we could understand every sleazy thing they were saying in Spanish.

Before letting us see the car, we were forced to provide ID and fill out paperwork with our personal information. After about ten minutes, another salesman walks back in with the original guy and says, "I'm sorry, but we sold the car yesterday morning."

We were shocked. We told them that we hadn't made the appointment. THEY called US to come see the car. We asked why they didn't have the decency to let us know it was sold on Thursday, since, having our address ahead of time, they obviously knew it was a four hour drive for us. The second salesman shrugged and said, "I never call anyone when a car sells." Obviously at this point it would have been too much to ask why the receptionist didn't know the car was gone when we called Friday morning to say we'd be late.

Then the cherry on top: the second salesman looks at my wife and says, "You wouldn't have wanted it anyway. It was a stick shift."

At this point it's moot to speculate whether the car had been sold the week before, and they were just jerking us around for laughs or to waste an entire day of our time and a tank of gas, or if the whole dealership really is so inept that the receptionists have no idea what the salesmen are doing and vice versa.

But there can be a silver lining to this story. You can learn from our mistakes. NEVER, EVER VISIT KENDALL DODGE.

If you are looking for a wrangler this is the dealership to come to. They have the largest wrangler inventory in south florida and they seemed to have a large selection of other cars too.

More importantly, the people there seem more human than shark like.

My dad and I pulled up on a sunday afternoon. 5 salesmen were standing by the show room. One of them came closer but didn't bother us. Once we wandered the lot for a while, we turned towards the showroom, and asked if we needed any help. That was it, no telling us about the deals they had, or about a the finance plan they had, just offering us help. He was friendly, helpful, not pushy or salesmen like at all.

Not sure when, but at some point I will be buying a jeep wrangler and I will be buying it from this dealership.
