Established in 1984.

Gus Machado Ford was established in Miami in 1984 from founder Gus Machado, we are a family owned auto dealer with two locations in South Florida, our north location in Hialeah and our south location in Kendall. Gus Machado started his carrier in the auto business in 1957 and buying his first new car dealer in 1982. Gus Machado Ford has been awarded The President's award in 2008-2010 and must resent the Salute to Dealers award in 2011, one of six dealers in the world to be awarded so distinguish award for his commitment to our customers, employees and community contributions.

Great service. I took my new truck, purchased from another dealer unfortunately, in to have a part that the other dealer wasn't able to install. Even though the service manager told me they had never installed one before I was in and out in less than an hour. A special shout out for John in service and JT in parts. I'll be taking the new truck back to them for service.

My car is unusual as the oil has to be changed at a real Ford Dealer.  I live on Brickell, which is a zillion miles from Kendall, so my only choices are Hialeah or Kendall. Both are a real pain to visit. Especially Kendall. Getting there in the AM is a breeze, but the traffic back to down town is reminiscent of Manhattan at rush hour. In the snow.

This is the second time I have been to Gus Machado for service and they did a terriffic job just like the last time. They have the relatively rare oil I need for this car (Shelby Super Snake) and the guys that work there are super nice. BOTH times I went there there were minor issues with things needing to be screwed down or whatever once the car was up on the lift. Not that big a deal as they only took a couple of minutes to fix, but still,  they did that for me at NC and without asking. .

It is not a huge dealership, and the fact that the guys who worked there actually tried to help me with things, even though they were  really small deals, told me a lot about the culture of the place.

Next time I need service there is no question that I will go back. At least they are honest and care about you and your car.

Just had my 2014 Explorer in for first checkup. Top notch service. I have bought two cars there in three years. Service is terrific...always deal with  Ralph Mendez...a pro. No matter what issue I may have (have very few), he's all over it. Al Alvarez was my sales guy both times. Again first class. They even now have a café in the service area for a coffee and pastry while you wait...

I'm really shocked to read about the reviews about Gus machado ford! Although it may be the sales person you dealt with,not informing you, showing nor explaining the details of your car and options.. I am blessed I had a Great visit to Gus mach-ado ford in Kendall! I got to the place at around 1:10 pm to look at a 2013 mustang that I drove and inspected from the way it was brought in the lot(still dusty n not in very good condition). Not excellent because it had a couple of paint nicks and the convertible top had a burn or a gash mark on it. I made a comment to Heidi(my sales rep) about it, which may I add was really professional at handling this. We then went to the office. I was already filling out paper work because I was happy with what I drove/saw. Before moving to finance I made a comment about the roof top and compensating me for the total price of $19,800. Heidi said she didn't know if she could take care of it maybe fix it. I then said " I'm going to think about it because I didn't want to rush into a car then have to do work to it after taking it off the lot". Some gentleman, I'm guessing another sales rep goes " what's happening? Aw come on man, your not going to get something in a new package as a used car" I then tried keeping my cool and just wanted to get out of there before tempers flared. His comment upset me and they could've lost my business.. Heidi was the one who made this work out. Now reading the other reviews I see how you could've been treated this way getting one of these other guys that care about making a sale and commission but DONT put the customer first. She asked the manager and told me that they would replace the top and put a new one and take care of minor paint that needed to be touched up. That brought a smile to my face and I then proceeded to fill out paper work. I went to pick up my step son at 2 pm, got back at 245 pm and I was already speaking to the finance manager Frank Infante. The most professional and one of the best business representatives I have met. Not only was his customer service superior but he had me out of there in an hour. I waited another hour to get the car from getting a detailed car wash and I was driving off the lot happy as can be by 530 pm! Sorry car max but your customer service is slow and inconsistent with cars not to mention your high interests rates and not being able to show me my credit score after you ran my report! Thank you Heidi, Frank for your services and the others that made this deal happen. I'll definitely be referring you to people interested in buying a car.

I bought a used car sight unseen based on the description and phone conversations.  Went to pick it up and it was covered in scratches a couple dents and interior blemishes.  None of this was described to me.  they tried to remove the scratches and got maybe half of them out.  Also it only has one set of keys.  They claim they will order an additional set but 3 weeks later and we don't have them.  Lessons learned don't buy sight unseen and also don't buy from Gus Machado.

When I went to Gus Machado after I bought my Jeep they directed me to Tommy at the Tire Center there. I explained what I wanted and how I wanted it. He made sure to do that for me and even showed me my options online. Now I have a sweet Jeep with new 20in rims and tires no rubbing and no lift to my jeep... So it's safer to ride.

He was so nice, excellent customer service !!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. We found what looked like a nice car in an Auto Trader Magazine and wanted to buy used and save some money- big mistake. Stay away! They sold us a car that almost killed us when the brakes went out suddenly after 3 months. Unfortunately 3 months out, the time had passed where we could bring the vehicle back for a refund or trade it in, and why would we want to get another car from them anyway? We had enough sense not to, thank goodness. When we were finally able to get a deep diagnostic run on the car they found a bunch of wires had been cut and the computer system in the car had actually lost communication with the rest of the vehicle. Then the wipers went out, the turn signals, the brake master cylinder, HEADLIGHTS, everything one by one. Basically at any moment, we could have killed someone or ourselves and the mechanic who looked at the car said it was a botched job most likely done by the dealership to make a quick sale at the expense of selling a car that was easily a public danger- WOW. Our salesman's name is Isidro Reyes- an ex cop/ex service member with no scruples whatsoever. I'm also a Veteran and let me tell you, I have a good feeling that he has no Honor, to try and sell cars like these with the full knowledge that it will go bad just after the 30 day warranty. Surely he wouldn't put his family and friends in an unsafe vehicle such as the one we bought? I wouldn't be surprised if he did because when we asked him, "Is there anything about the car we should know about" he famously said, "I'm not God!" Wow! That should have been my cue to stay the hell away! You may be able to get a quick buck a few times but eventually the public will be onto you and tell their friends what a con man you are. I hope that people will read this and take heed so that they don't have to learn the hard way like we did. It was our mistake to trust Gus Machado of Kendall and we ended up losing 3/4ths of what we originally paid due to negative equity in a trade for a newer model car. We went to CARMAX this time and will never make the same mistake again- only getting 1,200 back for a car worth much more due to the condition it had been sold to us in. I wish I had read the reviews here before trusting these crooked creeps. Please if you learn anything from a stranger on Yelp, take your business elsewhere and save yourself the hassle. Gus Machado of Kendall does not care about you!

If you want to get screwed over come here!! My boyfriend, his brother-in-law, and I each bought a car from here and we each had HORRIBLE experiences! WAY too much to type out, but feel free to email me if you want more info.

My boyfriend wanted to get a new car from here, but forget that he will go elsewhere because we are not getting screwed over again.  I think they purposely jack up your car so that you come back to service it.  TWO days after I bought my car it needed a new battery and interior lights.  Granted, this was under warranty but I did not have the time, nor did I want to deal with this.

Gus Muchado Ford is by far the shittiest dealership in town...DON'T GO HERE!

OMG..this place was absolutely horrible. I am currently in the process of trading in my Jeep for another SUV that is a bit bigger so I came to look at the Ford Edge and Ford Explorer. As I walked in to their showroom, I walked toward the vehicles and realized they were all locked. I am not sure what kind of showroom this is..I might as well have stayed home and looked at pictures on the internet. After 10 minutes, a salesperson approached us and was clueless. I asked him what their lease programs were on the Ford Edge and Explorer and he had no clue. Then he walked us in the heat to the Ford Edge and then said he had to go get the key..HUH??? He then proceeded to say we needed to go and sit down with him to discuss numbers...I was so confused..I just waned to see the car and he completely disregarded my questions and did not seem familiar with the financial aspect to leasing a vehicle. I will never come here again and much less recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT VISIT THIS CAR DEALERSHIP!!!

Welcome to... the twilight zone.

Can you imagine coming to a dealership WITH OUT being greeted by a salesman as you open your own car door?

Don't get me wrong, I like to look around unhassled, but the vehicles were locked, so I couldn't do that.
I had to go inside to REQUEST a salesman.
After WAITING for a salesman, he came out to ask us for a DRIVER'S LICENSE, so that he could then go back and get the car keys to the specific cars we wanted to see.

Before I'm ready to buy a car, I have too look at lots of them. I want to be able to do that freely.

You would have thought that I was here for a conjugal visit.  But they apparentely don't want you anywhere near the inside of the cars, much less the backseat.

In all fairness, we weren't serious about buying a car.  But we wanted to look.  So once the sales manager found a salesman, who then found us, he took my drivers license so that he could then go and find all of the keys to all of the vehicles that we wntaed to look at.  

Inadvertantely, we started a game of "Stump the Salesman."  It started slow, Grannystyle, with questions like, "Does this have a 4WD option?"  They got harder with ones such as, "Is it an inline 4?"  That last one was unfair since the hood was closed.  

While trying to leave we were asked if they could have a moment of our time.  I thought this was a rhetorical question.  But the guy still had my license.  So we entered the interrogation room and in true form gave out as little info as we could.  

No happy ending here.
