Horrible place! The "manager" was full of sh**. The guy that was helping us was an awesome person but then comes along some douche bag that decided to run my credit to the floor and then tell me that i don't approve and then asked me for a sh** load of money for a car . The second day someone else calls me tells me the same deal "oh just bring in this much and you can take the car" then on the third day the first guy we met with which was very nice called to tell me  " oh you got approved just come get the car" at that time i already got my self another car. My frustration with these people is that I have been working for over 2 years to bring up my credit score and save up money for my dream car . And then they just go ahead and ruin it . If this guy ever reads this comment well this is for you  I hope if you have a daughter and she grows older i hope she meets an a**hole just like you when shes trying to buy a car. Never going back or recommending you guys to anyone.

Went here to visit a friend and look at some cars but the staff and Julio the sales man was very helpful and patient with me and my kids. Hooked me up and I was able to buy my favorite suv fully loaded for a great deal! I recommended anyone to go ask for Julio Hernandez! Great guy!

I have met with Louis, the General Manager, a couple of times now.  Each time he has impressed me as an honest and smart businessman who truly wants his customers to have a top-notch experience when visiting his store.  I highly recommend reaching out to Louis directly.  He will treat you right and help you get a great deal.

They worked on my car in January of this year. Fixed and did a good job. I would give them 4 stars for the first repair.

However, in February I went over a ditch in the road on my way to church and a minute later my car shut off. It was a Sunday and so I had my car towed to Grand Prize to figure out what happened. On Monday I told the dealer I thought the undercarriage of the car scraped against something but left it with them to do a diagnostic.

Grand Prize comes back with this story about me needing a new fuel pump, and three other new parts on the car which was going to run 1,100. I told Grand Prize Chevrolet that I'd had the car there a month ago for a routine repair that went great and all those parts couldn't have gone bad in a month. They said they were right but that I could tow it elswhere if I wanted. My stepdad said, "We'll tow it out of here. All that can't be wrong with the car."

We towed it to Nation, Ariel looked at it and big surprise.he found a loose wire under the undercarriage of the car! He fixed the wire and my car has been running great for 7 months since! Oh yeah, and he charged me $95.00. That's right less than $100 bucks.

Needlsess to say I took the copy of the repair and went over to Grandprize and asked for my money for the diagnostic charge back. They were classy and right enough to refund me the cash.

This was my first service visit at Grand Prize. I was impressed from the minute that I arrived. I was attended to quickly. Service took about an hour. The waiting area is comfortable. The process is well thought out and everyone was friendly.

If I could rate it with zero stars I would with the service we were given when purchasing my husband's truck there. To begin, we drove all the way down there to speak to the sales representative after showing interest with a trcuk they had. We clearly let the salesman know how much we were looking to spend "out the door price". Once we finally agreed upon a price and shook hands it was on to the finances...My husband was preapproved through a credit union through his job, but the gentleman in their finance department offered to run a soft hit on his credit to see if they can offer a better rate through their finance company. I let him know we didn't want to have a bunch of hits on his credit because it would lower it and was uneccessary. He told me that they would be "soft hits and those are removed off of your credit in 3 months." We thought, no big deal, and allowed him to. He offered us some rates and we said we would call the credit union in the morning and compare. The next morning we head back over to get the truck and the assistant sales manager advises us that the price they told us yesterday was not the price they would sell it to us for since they "out the door" price they offered us didn't incorporate "government fees"....When asked what "government fees" were, we wasn't given a solid answer. My husband and I decided that we did not agree on the new price and would leave. Upon driving all the way back to our house we receive an alert from our credit monitoring advising us that the when they ran his credit the night before they ran 3 HARD HITS! Not only did he run 1...he ran 3 in total!!! I was so upset that I callled back and spoke to the manager who at first apologized (I would expect it), and let them know how upset I was because ow we would need to go look for a truck somewhere else and try to get approved again with 3 hard hits on his credit report. This was completely unfair and they should hol true to their word. He asked that I let mybusband know to go back and they would hold up to the value they originally told us in the first place. (You can imagine how frustrating this whole experience has already been). Once my husband drived ALLL THE WAY BACK they manager lets him know he will give him the price if he goes through their finance company. At this point we just want this to be done and over with. After this whle ordeal we got the truck, went through their finance company and got $3,000 extra tacked on to the "out the door price" for some fees that their finance company charges for using them. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will never ever ever ever ever refer someone to Grand Prize Chevrolet. Save yourself the trouble and the managers, finance and sales department treating you like an idiot. What ever happened to companies giving a crap about their rapor!!

Got the parts I needed fast. These guys know what you need even if you are unsure. I also received a nice diagram with my order that was helpful during my installation. No complaints from this diy'er.

No stars if it was an option.  I was charged for service I did not agree and they did not call me after they ran my credit through numerous banks.  Unethical practices and I will Never go back or refer!

Went in for the 2nd time with the same problem, but could not identify the source. The car is in working condition but Dexcool coolant needs to be constantly refilled. No leaks were detected. Wished more could have been done to find the problem source. Was told to bring it in once it occurs again.

Marissa was great though always keeping me updated on the status of the vehicle while it was in service.

Been there other times and its been fine- no major complaints.

Short story short: not bad but not great either. Will update when I take back the car.

I took my new vehicle 2013 vehicle in to grand prize for the same issue I was having,my rear brakes were making a noise.Twice already it has occurred, first time they said it was a recalled part and they do not have the part in inventory, so I had to waste another day . They "fixed the issue" the next day I was back same noise again. 30 minutes later, the Manager comes out and says he has bad news for me, my vehicle fell off the lift, they said they will take care of it and put me in a rental a neon green chevy spark. I contact GM and they said my vehicle does not have a recall on it. So go figure that out.

SCAM AND LIARS AND  THIEVES sums up GRAND PRIZE CHEVROLET SALES DEPARTMENT.   Quite simple.  LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY A CHEVY...BUT NOT HERE (unless you want to be ripped off).

Here it is simply put.  They sent me a letter indicating that I would get $29,750 for my used Tahoe for a trade in deal.  I went there I showed them their letter  and they confirmed that they would give me $29,750 - handshake and salesman guarantee and sales manager guarantee after inspecting the letter.

On second visit, I returned to do the trade in,  wasted 2 hours waiting,  they asked for my DL, my insurance, my trade in car registration - copied all my private documents ; and idiot me...waiting... Then Salesman comes finally to sit me down after 3 hours...."oh it was a mistake the $29,750 we can only give you $23,000".

Why could they not tell me that on my first visit,  or during the first 15 minutes of my second visits.  Because they are LIARS, SCAMMERS and they stole 5 hours of my valuable time, patience.

I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO BUY CHEVY FROM OTHER DEALERSHIPS.....like Maroone, or Miami Lakes Auto Mall or any of the 7 other Chevrolet dealerships in the Miami area.  But do not waste you time or risk your money with this Grand Prize Chevrolet Dealership on 152nd street in SW Miami.

This type of lack of straightforwardness and SCAMMING , LIAR practices should not be rewarded with any business at all.

(Just read the other reviews from other customers that go ripped off by GRAND PRIZE )

SERVICE DEPARTMENT = SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this place a NEGATIVE rating I would! They are HORRIFIC! My husbands Silverado was acting up so we took it in. They kept the truck two weeks & told us they had to take engine apart to replace a part ... we FINALLY get the truck back and there is an OPEN and LEAKING bottle of oil they left in the engine and the part they "replaced" is covered and dust and has never been touched!! It is the ORIGINAL part! So he takes truck back and they wont admit its original part until he gets GM involved! Then we leave truck AGAIN, get it back AGAIN and the smell of gasoline when we are driving (WITH OUR SMALL CHILDREN IN TRUCK!!!!) is so overpowering that we have to have windows open!! So we finally take it to our own personal mechanic who is SHOCKED by what he sees .... the amount of gas leaking INTO enging while we drive was enough to start a massive fire. They hadnt tightned something correctly and gas had been leaking EVERYWHERE. We are AGAIN dealing with GM but this service department put my family in danger and is nothing but a bunch of lazy, lying crooks. We will NEVER go there again. EVER.

I don't want to fill anything out in order to look at a car.

Anything in the showroom you can poke your head in, but when we wanted to look inside the Tahoe outside, the salesman had to get a key. In order to get a key, he needed some info.

I could understand that if you were going to drive, but I just want to look.
If I want to look at Chevy's again, it will be somewhere else.
