Reviews on AutoNation Nissan Miami

Had an 8am appointment and arrived early to check in.  I pulled into the service bay as I had been instructed by phone when j made the appointment.  There were several people milling around and no one bothered to address me as I waited. I got out of my vehicle and several workers were still milling around and still no one acknowledged me. I approached a worker at an outside station and was told that I would need to wait for a different worker assigned to the very next station to help me. Mind you the worker I approached was helping no one at that time. I was then checked in and went to the waiting area while my vehicle was worked on. When it was time to pay the clerk was out so me and two others waited for her to return. She came back with her beverage that she was out getting and then processed me out. The only that that made this experience two starts was the person who waited on me was able to me expectations of appropriate interaction with me as a customer. Other defiantly did NOT. I'm a bit sad that this is the closest Nissan dealership to me.

We were shopping for a new car for a couple of weeks &  had gone to nissan palmetto the night before coming here. (STAY AWAY FROM NISSAN PALMETTO!  I had such a bad experience haggling back and forth, trying to be heard that finally we left). We headed to auto nation nissan the next day. When we walked into auto nation, it was like a breath of fresh air. My sale associate Alain, was professional, courteous & patient. Finally we met with Glen (manager) to negotiate the deal. I can literally say, it was 10m of negotiation and I def got more than I expected! Got the Rogue SV w leather seats and tints incl. very happy customer. Even after purchasing the car & dealing with picking it up after seats and tints, Alain was always pleasant and never treated me different. Oh, and it was washed for us everytime! Thanks, Alain! My next car will definitely be a nissan and I hope to purchase it with auto nation!

I can say that my experience with Auto Nation Nissan Miami was a good one. I wanted to trade in my old car and get a new car. The salesman Rafael did a good job and took care that I'm informed through the entire process I was there. The new car was waiting for me and we took a test ride. Of course I loved the car from the first moment and decided to take it after thinking about it carefully. The manager Mickey was very nice too and tried to go through the process as quick as possible and explained to me all the conditions openly and comprehensively. The pros are: I got there with my old car and I left with the new car, new registration and transcribed insurance. My life changed in just a few hours without complications. The cons: The used car representative, who checked my old car never talked to me to explain in detail what my car is worth and why. I was just informed about the final sales price from the salesman and the manager when we talked about the entire purchase package. Also,I got quite little for the old car compared to the lowest sales price that was posted on KBB. Also, it took about 7 hours total until I could drive off with the new car. Nevertheless, I was given some major rebates for the new car in return, which then turned it into a good day. The car was washed again, polished, cleaned and fully refilled with gas, the plates changed and I was happy to have a new car. After one week I'm enjoying the new car even more and beyond that day by day. I recommend to everyone this dealer. They are reliable, friendly and offer a competent and generous follow up service. Good job guys!!!

I recently purchased a vehicle from this location, and I was very satisfied with the way I was treated. Everyone involved in the process was extremely attentive and professional.
However, upon bringing my vehicle in to the service department a few days later to replace a sensor and check on a noise, it was a totally different story. When I got my car back, it was in worse shape than when I'd brought it in. They kept the car for an entire week, when it was only supposed to be in the shop for a day or two. Then when I finally got it back, a piece of trim had been broken near the windshield, (which they offered to repair at another time), and one of my hub caps was being held on by two plastic tie-wraps. I guess they were hoping I wouldn't notice. In addition to this, my steering wheel would shake violently at speeds greater than 45mph. Freighting!
When then service adviser finally returned my call, I was able to bring in the car to have these issues fixed, thankfully. Again the adviser was very professional and attentive, but I'm a little hesitant to recommend this location to anyone else.

I was a loyal customer of theirs for years...until they fleeced me on a service that was completely unnecessary! I disputed the charge on my credit card and will NEVER go back to them again!

This is my fifth new car since 2003. The last three were leased.

The fifth time is a charm. This dealership is outstanding, and not only because they gave me a great deal. The staff is truly professional. From George Rossi to Hector Carrera and in between: all people oriented and professional.

Negiotiated via phone and text, and they beat all the compeition. They located my exact car and trucked it to their dealership. To get it any newer I would have had to have gone to the factory.

My transaction was as smooth as can be.

I went to Miami for thanksgiving with my son and his family.

I left my old lease at the dealership and I'm returning to Tampa with my new lease.

This was stress less!

Came here on a Saturday to help my parents purchase a new car. I normally have my guard up when dealing with sharks. However our sales man was very helpful he did not seem to be just after a commission. My parents test drove the new Rogue and liked it when it came time for negotiations after the traditional back and forth and showing him other offers online they matched it and threw in some extras. The only complaint is that this took a few hours. Good thing they had lunch-arroz con pollo and maduros cuz after waiting so long we were hungry. Once we reached an agreement we were off to financing with Chris he was very helpful as well and put everything on the table, no hidden charges he told us as it is. My parents walked away with a new car and satisfied.

please Do NOT take your car for service at this dealer!!!! I had taken my 09 maxima for  an oil change and tire rotation. car came out with one of the security lug nuts missing had to take the car back after speaking to the service manager and got new ones at no cost. then the car needed a new alternator which was SUPER strange since he car only had 37 thousand miles paid close to $800 for repair but that wasn't it. car had to go back a day later cuz my a/c wasn't working properly. they admitted they had broken the seal on one of the a/c hoses and supposedly replaced it. left the dealer two days later a/c wasn't working again! took the car in and car spent a whole day and overnight too. was told the main hose was totally replaced and was checked for any leaks. got car back saw that my leather drivers seat had been cut with a razor and had a nasty hole plus the radiator hose was put back together with some tape. please people check your cars before you drive them out of the service department. because of all this I had no other choice to sell my car since I had no faith the a/c would last me more than a few days maybe weeks. worst service place EVER!!

As a first time buyer I was kind of nervous. I had an idea of what kind of car I was looking for and also what budget. Luis Delossantos was very helpful and patient. We spent the whole day looking at different options and testing different cars. The costumer service in is great. Thanks to Luis and the team I was able to get my first new car and now I am very happy with it.

I don't understand how this location doesn't have a lower rating. Maybe I was just unlucky but my experience was anything but positive.

On with the review. After waiting several years, I finally decided to get my parasitic drain on my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder diagnosed properly. I made an appointment for 8am and my service rep was a young guy by the name of Joel O. Initially I was told it could take several hours to be completed. Since I work far from my job I had to take time off from work. Six hours passed by and I didn't receive an update. I called in but was put on hold twice and forwarded to voicemail. I found this frustrating so I tried using the "make an appointment" option and someone picked up right away...which I found strange. Anyway, I finally spoke to my service rep and he apologized for not calling me but he said they were really busy and had some setbacks. He also said it would take another day to get it diagnosed. It would have been helpful to have heard this from him directly instead of having to follow up myself.

Next day came around and again I didn't get an update so I waited till 1:30pm before following up. To my surprise I found out my service rep was on his day off! Someone must have told him to call me because I was pretty upset that I couldn't contact him. He called me from his personal cell phone and said to contact him there.

I was told to be there by 7pm to pick up my car. I left in the middle of meeting at work so I can make it on time. After dealing with rush hour and I arrived at 6:50pm. I am told at the service desk that my rep is on his day off and that my car isnt ready. I explained that he told me that my car would be ready tonight for pickup. At first they said they couldn't give me my car because the ticket was open. I needed my car back so they asked me to pay and shortly after they went to retrieve it. Unfortunately the mechanic hadn't put back all the part together so I couldn't get my car. At this point I was frustrated and upset. Then to make things worse I was told that they didn't know when my car would be ready tomorrow. Worst part for me was that I had to find a way back home since their shuttle service ended at 6pm.

Next day, at around 10:30am I receive a call from Joel that my car and ready so I ask for a shuttle to be arranged to pick me up. I arrive and he takes me to the mechanic who starts to tell me that I need to fix this problem soon because the fuel pump can overheat and that anywhere I go to disconnect my battery. I found that very misleading since I had been dealing with this problem for over 5 years and disconnecting my battery every weekend and never really had any safety issues. During this conversation I also pointed out to Joel that I am no longer comfortable getting my car serviced there because of the lack of communication and followups from his end. He goes on to tell me he left me three voicemails, which he didn't because I checked, and that he can't be on his cell phone all day because he will get cancer. When I tried to explain to him that I had to leave in the middle of meeting at work he countered by telling me he went out of his way to let me know my car status on his day off as if that was something he didn't need to do. These were all excuses and were unprofessional considering that it was his job to communicate this info to me as a customer. If he was going to be on his day off he should have delegated any pending jobs to another service rep.

The car seemed fine when I drove it away but when night time came around I noticed a bigger problem. My instrument gauge lights were no longer working and the mechanic left some cabling (splices) connected to the fuse box next to the battery, which was now open along the bottom.

Thankfully, one of the supervisors (Mike M.) gave me a call back and I shared my situation. He was friendly and was flexible when it came to a schedule to take back my car. I showed up that same night and he personally inspected my car. After a few moments the original mechanic came out and starting talking in spanish with the supervisor. A few moments later, the supervisor, not the mechanic, noticed one of the fuses was missing and fixed it. Then I pointed out the situation with the new cable near my fuse box. The mechanic immediately became defensive and in his mumbled english said that he didn't add that cable and that another mechanic from outside of nissan added it. He also said they found the cable and left it out so I could see it. He was lucky. It was night time and I couldn't see the condition of the cable to well so I gave him and supervisor the benefit of the doubt. He also left a car part in my car and I called him back as he was walking away and handed it to him. He didnt even say thank you.

Next day came around and one of my mechanic buddies took a look and noticed the splice cables were practically brand new. This is an obvious sign that the mechanic at nissan had added and completely denied it.

This was my first time using AutoNation Nissan Miami for service. The dealership is nice enough on the inside and the waiting area is fairly comfortable. They had newspapers, the TV and coffee available.

I had an appointment for 7:30 am with Miguel. I got there at 7:30, but no Miguel. He supposedly hadn't been scheduled to come in until 8:00. Why then would they schedule me with him at 7:30? I ended up being assisted by Joel, who was professional.

It took 45 minutes to get my car looked at and the quote to be put together. I then had to wait another 35 minutes for the shuttle driver, who I was told would be available in 5-10 minutes.

I asked if my car could be ready by 1:00 pm and he said yes. I got a call around 11:30 saying a belt needed changing as well, so I had them change it. I got a call right at 1:00 saying my car was ready.

It turns out llater they lied to me and sold me on services that were not necessary. They said I was overdue on a transmission flush, saying it should have been done at 32k. My new mechanic said it they were lying. I researched Nissan's service recommendations and sure enough Autonation lied. The 32k recommendation is only based on if you tow a lot or you drive off road. My mechanic says the dealerships here pay their people less and tell them if they want to get paid more sell services and make a commission. From my experiences with Autonation Nissan and Lehman Toyota (aka North Miami Toyota) he is correct.

The service in the sales department is top notch! They were extremely attentive and very patient (we were there all day). I dealt with representative Carolina and Tomy. Put it to you this way- I was just walking while I was waiting for the oil change in my car, ended up trading that car for a top of the line Maxima SV. :)

I am not sure why the service department gets good reviews.  The service department is always in a state of confusion.  They overbook and on the two occasions I went they tried to overcharge for my oil change(one price on the phone and when they present you with the invoice it is another price). I actually witnessed the service advisor who sits in the very front outside(older guy) curse out the guy inside who schedules appts. They also, if you are not Hispanic, will treat you with a degree of animosity because you are not. You must verify the service they are paying for because when I go they never fully complete the oil change(do not check air pressure, refill fluids etc). They will not even clean the oil they spill on the engine and on the hood of the car when they shut the hood with their oily hands. I will certainly never return to this dealership.
