I brought my car in for its 20,000 mile servicing and I have to say that they kept to my appointment time and addressed any and all issues I mentioned that my car was having. My only complaint is that they manage to keep your car for a long time! Every time I take it if I have one thing for them to address they keep my car for over 3 hours! And then I'm always stuck in traffic on my way back home. I also have to mention that they have 4 podiums and it seems that when you come back to pick up your car that they can't help you even though some of them are sitting around. In any case they are friendly and they cleaned up my car after they were done. So no other complaints as of yet :-)

I've purchased two cars here - one as recent as a couple of weeks ago. On both visits, the salesmen (James D. on the most recent visit) were friendly and not pushy. My partner and I felt very comfortable. They worked with us in finding what we needed that worked with what we were wanting to pay. Service is always fast and efficient. This will always be the first place we look. Five stars all the way.

Everyone at Osteen made our car-buying experience an easy and pleasurable one. The customer service here couldn't be better. We love our new vehicle and continue to be amazed at every new function we discover. We definitely recommend this dealership for anyone looking to buy a car in the near future. We'd like to thank the entire Osteen Volkswagen family for making a 16 year old very happy.

I purchased a new VW Golf TDI at O'Steen VW yesterday and in process found a very willing dealer that was friendly and helpful. The experience was much better than I expected it to be and I should note the dealer rep James was very easy to work with.

As a former automotive finance collections officer for a national lender, I have a volume of dealer-related horror stories in my memory that did not apply here in any capacity.

My arrival at O'Steen was precipitated by a listing for a Certified used VW Golf TDI I found in Cars.com , but once I got there and experienced the friendly treatment, I started looking around at other options. After nearly an hour of talking to James and taking an extended test drive, I was totally sold on the car I found.

What made it better was the financing end to pay for the car. While I was prepared to pay cash for the car, I decided to explore the financing options.

Knowing car loans are much cheaper than they were a few years ago, I noted that the dealer did not take anything on the financing. It's a product to be sold, just like the car, and sometimes lenders will allow the dealer to take a percentage on top of their offer, thus taking advantage of the situation. That is something every customer need to investigate before accepting financing by asking what "the buy rate" is, or what the bank's offer on the financing is.

My deal was better than the Consumer Reports Buying Service outline, so I accepted it without much further thought.

While I have not used the Service Dept yet, I will update my opinion, if needed.

I love this place. They always treat my car right, and give me a fair price. I like understanding what they did and why they did it. And they always explain it to me, in a non-patronizing way. The lounge is clean and has snacks and drinks. Usually, I'm sat in a club chair, staring at the TV. Which is a good way to zone out whilst waiting for your oil change. Also, they know you by face and name, so that's pretty reassuring. Go there if you like your cars German and your service fast!

Very few of the models get good reliability ratings (ETA:  recently VWs have improved so some are rated highly--2013), and if you search the web, customers are constantly complaining about the dealerships' repair/service departments, which seem universally bad.

Every car dealership is pretty bad, but this one is worse.  While many people won't care, Osteen fired someone due to sexual orientation.  That matters to me.  Thankfully, there's another place in town to buy VWs (though I'd stick with the Golf or GTI as far as new '11-'13 models go IF I HAD to buy one...Mazda, Nissan, Honda and Toyota are all better, and the first two are much better values).
