Just like almost  every other car dealer in Jax, BEWARE of the bottom line when dealing with them. They won't actually cheat you, but they will try every trick to maximize their profit. Their service department is just average, not bad but not great either.

Have taken two vehicles there and had problems with both.  The first was an oil change and they forgot to reset the oil life indicator (not a big deal, but indicates they don't have a very good QC process).  Second time I took a Sentra in for an oil change/ rotation/general look (visiting child's car).  They called and told me a wheel was warped/damaged and needed to be replaced.  I told them I would buy a replacement elsewhere.  I had them do a brake flush at their suggestion.  Problems:
- They told me it was ready on the phone but we had to wait 30 minutes for them to finish.
- Another shop told me the wheel was fine, and it appeared they had left a part on when they tried to do the balancing.
- They lost a lug nut (they told us that) and said they would put on a replacement.  No lug nut.
Won't see me there again.

My wife and I have been shopping for cars all week and still shopping.  This was the 7th or 8th dealership we visited and although we haven't bought a car yet (we're very careful buyers), our sales agent (Gary) at this Chevy dealership was amazing.  Gary knew about every brand of car we've already seen and could answer questions no other dealership could answer (like specific bluetooth sharing features, map sharing, etc..).  I mean, other dealerships have called us lately and said they are still trying to find out.  Gary knew the answers and showed us to prove it.  He made my wife and I feel like valued customers, had things printed out for us for the and even volunteered a CarFax for a used car we were looking at.  I wish all sales guys were like.  Thanks Gary!

This place will rip you off.  Do not but anything from them. This had to be the worst car dealer I have ever been to. They ripped my mother off bad and when I asked them to fix it they acted like I was just stupid. Go anywhere but here.

I did not have a good experience with the service department. I arrived early before they opened, the desk staff came in on time but the mechanics didn't come in until much later.
The waiting lounge quickly became filled up, almost everyone there was coming back for a return visit on a previous service problem. Every conversation started out the same: upset customer, service rep apologizing, saying they have never had this happen before, very unusual situation, they would figure it out, etc. Then they come back with more bad news.
I noticed this trend right off but it really set in as I waited there almost 6 hours for my car to get serviced, delay after delay. I imagine I was getting pushed back because I was the least irate/fuming customer in there. All this concerned me very much and my gut instinct was to ask for my car back. I wish I had.
10 minutes after I left the dealership my check engine light came on. I took it to another mechanic, they diagnosed the issue and said I should take this back to George Moore, because this is a "go back" ie poor fix, they will have to fix it for free because they did not do it right the first time (same original issue).
I will never return there, even to have them re-fix a poor repair they have already charged me for- who knows what new problems I would drive away with.

I was really happy with my visit to George Moore Chevrolet a couple of weeks ago. Joey was a terrific advisor and kept me informed about the status of my repair. The waiting area was clean and welcoming. They offered a courtesy shuttle which was great. Both of the driver's were fantastic -- the afternoon driver even offered me a cold drink out of a cooler in the van. I was pleased with their speed and price. I have just reloacted to FL and am thrilled to have found them.

This review is for the parts and service department.
I would have given them 4, or possibly 5 stars, if they were open on the weekends.
I'm from Miami, but I had the AC in my truck go wonky (blowing hot out of one side, and cold out of the other) in the middle of a road trip.
Called ahead, spoke to a nice guy. Got there, and the same nice guy took care of me (Jan).
They had it fixed in about 3 or 4 hours.
You don't expect much when you break down on a trip, but they were very nice and professional here.
