If the part you want is not in stock you have to go down at the Nissan location pay for it then wait 1-2 business days, won't allow you to pay over the phone.

Smell that? Smells like crap. Gimmicky sales crap.

If you come here to buy anything and they don't have the one you see online, leave. Period.

These guys are the masters of the bait-and-switch. I think they even teach a graduate-level course on it.

I walked in after browsing the selection on their website, and immediately ran into the best example of the cliche 'used car sales manager' I have ever seen in my life.  The salesman I talked to over the phone was out, but returned from lunch pretty quickly.  Miraculously, the vehicle I had seen online just a short time before had magically been sold while he was out to lunch.

The next 30 minutes we filled with showing me every cheap, crappy car on the lot, with each one being followed by a push to finance, or spend more than what I said was my max.

Everything about this experience was exactly the kind of gimmicky sales crap that gives used car dealers a bad name.

I have only been at this location once for service to get my brakes done, but I was very pleased with the service. The only reason I did give them 5 stars is because it did take over 3 hours when I had expected under 2. However, the service representatives were personable, friendly and kept me posted as the repairs were in progress and apologized for the delays. The waiting area was comfortable and with complimentary refreshments and wifi available, I had no problem waiting. The prices are reasonable so I would see no reason to take my Nissan any place else for service. I will be back for ongoing maintenance.

I went in again recently for an oil change and this time I asked for the complementary car wash and received one! Added an extra star for that. The only con this time was that the wait was longer than 3 hours with appointment. But the employees were very friendly, bathrooms were clean, and the waiting room was nice and with filled snacks. Good customer service! I can tell that they truly care about their customers. Next time, I probably will drop my car off and walk home.

This review is for the Service Department only.

We owned a Nissan truck and purchased the service plan to get free oil changes.  We brought the truck here every 3,000 miles for years and always had nothing but excellent service.  Sometimes they were quite busy and it would take as long as an hour or so, but we planned on this happening and it was always a pleasant wait and experience.  The employees were always very friendly.  They also have a very nice waiting area where you'll find comfy seats and a movie to watch on a large screen.  They also offer popcorn, coffee, etc.

If you purchase a new vehicle from here, I highly recommend you also purchase the plan that comes with the oil changes.  Trust me, it is well worth it in the end.  Also, since you've already paid for it, it kinda forces you to keep up the maintenance on your vehicle.  Without the plan, we often let it lapse and that's never a good thing.

If you don't have the plan and you own a Nissan, I still recommend coming here for your oil changes and regular service.  Nissan knows Nissan vehicles.  They are going to do a better job on your vehicle than some quick lube place.

The 'buying experience' began by your team adding 13% to the "advertised" price of the vehicle for "dealer added options".  Although the 'added options' were not listed anywhere, I was assured that they were added (whatever they were).  When I declined to proceed with the sale, the sales manager 'split' the cost.  As near as I can determine, I paid $829 for floor mats, window tint and wheel covers (and, of course, the dealer's decal on the rear of the car).  I had to add "as near as I can determine" because the sales agreement does not list any dealer added options/price, but increases the cash price of the vehicle by $829.00.

The unexpected additional cost did not justify walking away, it was still a decent car at a decent price, but it was not a positive buying experience for that reason.

aving driven my new car for four days, I noticed two items that should have been noticed and repaired before I left the dealership since the purchase agreement includes a $599.00 'service fee' for "...inspecting, cleaning and adjusting...".
·         The rear view mirror control on the passenger side does not work properly.  The mirror cannot be adjusted to provide a rear view.  I would have expected such a safety related item to be among the bare minimum of items inspected and corrected.
·         The top of the gear shift cover is coming apart- the stitching in unraveling.  This is not a safety concern but should have been noticed and fixed prior to delivery.

I too saw an advertisement for a used truck both on Autotrader and the Coggin on Atlantic website.  I called and spoke to Andrew Watson who stated the 2012 Nissan Titan (Stock# CN305567 and VIN ending with 5567) was there and I made an appointment to see the vehicle two hours later.  It was a 2 hour drive to the dealership from Gainesville, FL.  An hour and a half into the drive (just entering Jax) he calls to say the truck was sold by a 'sister' dealer and apologized.  I turned around an drove home.  Today, the same vehicle is still advertised on the website for about $4,500 more.

So perhaps they miss priced it, but don't lie to me and waste my time.  Either they need to hire a new internet sales manager or shady practices are the norm.  Once I saw the other Yelp reviews I realized it may be the later.

Don't waste your time driving to Coggin Nissan on Atlantic!

My husband and I went there to look at a specific car that we had seen online and we were told by one sales representative it was already sold and then by another they had it and they were  going to bring it around.  So while we waited for  this imaginary vehicle  the guy roped us into filling out their credit app even though we already had an approval from our bank and weren't all that interested in financing through them. So after we filled out the app the car apparently got sold so then he starts showing us a bunch of other modek we weren't interested in or that weren't in the price range we needed. So long  story short we were there for over an hour didn't see anything remotely close to what we wanted and basically  had to run away because every time we tried to leave they kept having us sit for one more minute. Never again.  They applied way too much pressure on purchasing one of their vehicles which is absolutely haneous since we never even actually looked at a car.

Here is what I posted on BBB, i could have wrote so much more but ran out of space.

I called the dealership in advanced and told them the make/model/trim/color that I was desiring. They assured me they had it and that we could do business. I showed up with my wife right after work to purchase the car I was looking for which was a Nissan Altima 3.5SL dark gray with black interior and the technology package. When I got there I was told they were not sure if they had the car and we would have to look for it. The sales representative drug me and my wife(who was wearing high heels) all around the car lot looking for this imaginary car that they told me they had. Why we had to go looking for it I am not sure as I assume they should have had a record of their cars in their database.

Comes to find out they did not have the car, so we discussed some other color options as that was the only part I was willing to be flexible with. In the end there was no car on the lot that matched what I was looking for or anything near it. I told them I saw the exact car I was looking for at the Coggin Nissan at the Avenues (which is where I wanted to go first but they assured me they had my car here) but they told me it was going cost me money to have them transfer it to this dealership. By this time it was already really late and we did not have time to go back down to that dealership so I dropped my expectations and went with the plain SL model. The finance part is where my real complaint comes in.

I came into the dealership with a VIP check from Vystar Credit Union for an amount and interest rate that I desired. After negotiations I went back to pay for the car and F&I Manager Jamie Pantling informed me that since I am getting "such a great deal" they are losing money so I will have to go with their financing so they can get the rebates. This happened to be 2 points higher then what Vystar Credit Union was offering me. I was of course very unhappy at this point as it was 9pm and too late to go to another dealership and I was already invested in the process. What comes next blew my mind and why I believed him I will never know. He assured me that they deal with Vystar on a daily basis and that they have a "6 month same as new" refinancing option. He proceeded to tell me we can do this deal with their financing and then after 3 payments, as this is how long I have to stay with Nissan's financing for them to get their rebate, I could then go back to Vystar and get the same great interest rate I was offered before. My wife literally got up and went to walk out but as foolish as I am convinced her to stay so we could finish the deal. Since I planned on refinancing now, I did not take GAP insurance and instead took an extra warranty which further put more $$$ in their pocket.Fast forward 4 months later, I applied for the refinance with my credit union and no got denied with not much details. On the 5th month I physically went into Vystar to discuss what happened and see if I could get refinanced. The loan officer looked at me like I was an idiot when I told her what he told me about the "6 mo same as new" refinancing. She told me I had to have at least 6 months of payments before they would even consider my loan now.Now that this is a used car, I am upside down by $4k and they refuse to refinance. I have no GAP insurance, and the dealership has ROYALLY screwed me. Unfortunately I am out of space or I have much more I would add before and after this.

So, on top of all this, my brand new 2013 Nissan Altima that I bought with 17 miles on it has already had to be taken in 2x for computer issues, one of which I am still waiting for them to call me back and let me know that the dash head unit is in so they can replace it. I have been waiting 2 weeks now? Then 2 days before Christmas I was driving slowing looking at Christmas lights and the car stalled out on me twice. What have I gotten myself into?

Dropped my car off at 130 for an oil change and tire rotation, came back 2 hours later and it was still "in the shop". Coming up on 4 hours and still no vehicle. Will not be back, avoid!

We went into this dealership price checking to see what our best deals were going to be, and it was one thing we made sure they knew when they started to help us. The people are very nice and respectful they do their best to satisfy your needs and wants when it comes to a car, overall they were extremely helpful and at the end of the day we purchased our new car from here.
