This review is for the service department. I received a recall notice about my new truck for the air bags. They needed to replace an air bag or a sensor or something. I called and talked to Allison and she was very nice and told me what they needed to do. We made a appointment and they even emailed me like 4 times and even called me 2 days before and then the day before. I arrived and everything was going well. She told me they would be done around 4ish. I then got a call about my truck. I figured I would get this call. Well it started out well you know your truck doesn't have many miles on it BUT. Your battery is testing moderately low and we have a special today only. A battery installed for a mear 89.99. Then your also know your truck is a 04 and this and take should have been changed by now. Then my brand new tires were kind of, well starting to wear. After hearing everything wrong with my Soccer Mam Van I really don't know how it is still running so well. Oh well I told her just fix my airbags and whatever else is on the recall and I'll take my van as is. Funny but about 15 minutes later my truck was done with all the repairs.

All they care about is making money, they have high pressure dealers with no clue what their doing, I bought a used car and it broke 2 months afterwards they won't let me return it and they lost the the paperwork for it for a while to where the bank nor I had any of the paperwork. It was the worst experience I've ever had I'm never going there again.

So just a little update.. a month later we called the dealership cause our temp tag was expired. they said come in no problem. I get there and there like we had to redo your loan. I sit there puzzled but was like OK i look at the numbers and the payment is lower and better interest rate and another month with no payment. So I am like score but really how long would we have gone before someone called US. The only reason I was there was cause I CALLED. so ok another month later still no tag. call dealership and there like your tag is here and its 180 bucks. I am like WTF?? so after a couple calls it's explained to me the additional cost but this was never disclosed to US ever. we were told the plate will come to you and your good. so we pay and get the plat and I look and it was issued a month ago. so who knows how long it was sitting there... was no one going to call us.. I guess not considering the only time they did call us is when they wanted us to SIGN SIGN SIGN.. I will never recommend or go back to this place ever ever ever

I have been here twice for service after I moved to Jacksonville.   When you come in they dont acknowledge you at all.  I had to stand in his face for two mins before they acknowledge and say anything.  Everything went smooth except for the unwelcoming attitude.  I hope they can fix it.

Overall, this place is an average car dealer.  Which is sad to me, because  I'm used to Honda dealers being better than average.  This place, at least with regards to service, is average.  I've had great expierences with warranty or recall work, and I've had long waits and return trips for simple stuff like 4 wheel alignment and items left off a service request.  I've most recently been scheduled for appointments for times the specific technician apparently wasn't in?!  Told to come by before work for a quick realignment, only to find out those guys don't get I'm until 11:00?!  Not sure if they changed hands or what, but they used to be better. I've had trim not attached properly after service.  Nothing tragic, but just disappointing after expierences at other Honda dealerships.

Terrible service department.  Called for an appointment on Wednesday, 4 June for an appointment on Friday, 6 June.  I arrive and service representative could not find my appointment.  They asked the name of the person I spoke to on the phone.  I could not remember.  They told me I would have to wait 3 hours.  Terrible customer service!  I will never return!

High pressure dealer.  I had bought a new car there in the past because they had the best price and it was a good experience, although the car had issues.  This time their price was not very competitive and I was contacted multiple times by the sales person and the sales manager to make a deal.  Determined to make a sale, one price the sales manager gave me over the phone, couldn't come to fruition a day later; it wasn't even possible.  There is a dealer in Jax that starts with a low price with no haggling and no deadlines ever involved. They got my business this time.

I just bought my very first new car. The whole process seemed pretty overwhelming, so I did most of my research and shopping online, looking at dealer inventory in my area. When I finally decided what I wanted, I corresponded with Alberto through email, and then he helped me when I visited in person for a drive. His friendly and no-pressure approach made the experience a lot less nerve wracking than I assumed it would be. They had the exact car I was looking for and gave me way more than I was expecting for my (ancient) trade-in! I highly recommend Coggin on Atlantic if you're looking for a Honda.

I had a very solid experience working with Coggin Honda, specifically Cassie Pfenning and Paul Maheu. I came into the dealership after falling in love with a preowned 2011 Mazda3 iTouring that was posted on Coggin Honda's website. Cassie was flexible about meeting with me for a test drive and then worked around my crazy schedule to discuss buying. My husband and I did not want to finance, so there was a price range we were looking to stay within for our purchase. I did most of my car shopping alone, so I was communicating "updates" to him via text while he was at work. Cassie was very patient with our situation and even suggested taking the car home overnight so that my husband would get a chance to see and drive it before buying. Paul and Cassie gave us a great price on our trade-in vehicle and we walked out with a FANTASTIC price on the Mazda3. Most everyone I dealt with from Cassie and Paul in Sales, to Kelly Mabrey and Michael Huang in Finance  - who I only talked to for a few moments -  was friendly and easy to work with! I highly recommend making this a stop in your next search for a new or used car!

Everyone was very nice at Coggin.  My salesman, Alberto Diaz, was friendly, quick and informative.  I have never bought a car so quickly or felt so appreciated as a customer.
The dealership is clean, bright and has comfortable seating.  We were offered bottles of water and anything we needed.  
I love my new Honda CR-Z, it's just what I ordered!
I recommend highly.

Despite those previous comments, I have had nothing but excellent service at Coggin Honda Jacksonville.  I no longer work in Jacksonville but I'm in town for a few days and delayed my scheduled B-1 service on my Element until I could have Coggin do it.  I prefer them over my 'home' dealer.

My advise to those other reviewers... come prepared, do your research, know your stuff.  Don't whine.  Don't live to be offended.
