This place is a joke.... I called several time to make a routine check up for my vehicle. I was put on hold each time, after holding for 5 minutes, the operator continue to pick up and put me on hold, Each time she would apologize for the delay. Their service department NEVER PICK UP THEIR PHONE, I left my name and phone number with the operator each time and never received a call back from their service department. It'll be a long time before I ever placed another call to this company.  Even the operator was getting annoyed with the fact that I kept calling and asking to speak to the service department. Glad to know that there were other Chevrolet dealers to go to in the area.

Don't know about the sales side but the service department is horrible. I have been there three times all three times I stood at the counter for over 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. Then after finally being acknowledged they continually left me standing there why they talked to each other or answered the phone.

Weirdest situation of my life thanks for the memories Coggin Chevrolet of the avenues. Wish I could give negative stars...

They didn't have any trucks in my price range so Admir took me to a back lot, looking at some recent trade in 's. There was a great 05 chevy colorado which as I was told hadn't been thru the shop. I was allowed to start it up, it sounded great. A little hard negotiating with Admir and I meet used car sales manager David. He pushes me hard, the truck Obviously needs tires and he assumes other work. However I hold fast on my price... $6500... They say the truck would get fixed up in the next few days, even threw in a 1 month/2000 mile warranty. We sign a contract and I pay the amount in full, via check.

The next day is when it gets weird. Admir calls and says the truck needs $3000 worth of work and the dealership cannot sell it to me. I was distraught... I checked my contract it didn't say anything about the vehicle needing to pass safety inspection. When I ask David to explain where in the contract states they can back out of the deal he says, "you don't have the truck so we never sold you the truck". It's been 2 days and haven't resolved this problem.. Moreover they never called me and I continually was told they would.
If you have read this far do not trust these folks. I honestly feel like they should honor the deal, fix the truck, and possibly loose money...

First thing they did was run my credit and after realizing it was not lease eligible I was taken to the used car lot and showed THREE vehicles.  Since I did not like those I was told, and I quote "well I showed you three and you did not like them, so I dont know what you are looking for".   They say that they have over 122 dealers to pull from, but all they could find was three small sized suv in the 10-15 range.  Not worth the drive!  VERY dissapointed!

@BrettW , certainly an apology was in order and they should've gone above and beyond to make things right  . Did you buy the vehicle with a warranty or As Is  ?   You would have signed a disclaimer .  Is it possible that you may have been a little condescending in your approach to the salesman and/ or manager . Usually customers with an issue immediately jump to the conclusion that the salesman is trying to get'em and become aggressive and condescending. The fact is if you come to me at my place of work and treat me with respect I'll make sure your problem is handled , come to me with attitude and try and belittle me in my place of work and you will get stonewalled . Coggin Chevy Employees have always been stand up people and strive to under promise and over deliver at every turn . You should buy all your vehicles there , get all your service done there make them your car people .

Good selection, decent prices, good service department. Occasional warranty hiccups and disagreements but overall very much worth the time and money to patronize.

Coggin does a great job. They have serviced my 2002 Corvette Z06 since I moved from South Florida in 03.
