They just don't make the cut for what I expect from a luxury car dealer. Here's why: 1) I took my car in for service and had to constantly initiate getting status from my service advisor who often did not respond promptly. 2) I left my drivers license & no one bothered to call & let me know nor did any one offer to get it to me after i called & confirmed I left it. 3) It took 3 weeks to get my car maintenance & repair completed. *Now having a loaner vehicle did make the extended time bearable as I didn't mind driving a new RX350* however it did not excuse several missed due dates & again my having to initiate getting status & slow responses. 4) I was sent a survey which I filled out with these details & presently, more than a month later, have received no follow-up whatsoever. *Their facilities are top notch* but the customer service is lacking not only for Lexus but in general within the service dept per my experience.

This also applies to the new car sales side from my experience. 5) I put in a special order for a vehicle over 6 weeks ago & the service I've received has been less than stellar & not what I was promised. I haven't got the level of detail needed from my salesman & feel like ensuring my satisfaction is not a priority. 6) I don't believe all options concerning my purchase were discussed with me giving me the impression I could receive my vehicle sooner than the projected 90-120 days.  7) Too often I've had to repeat inquiries because my salesman fails to address them. 8) They have communication breakdowns. I placed a request via their website to get the sales manager's name & email. I was promptly called by a sales consultant about a car purchase inquiry along with 2 subsequent emails. 9) When I replied, the salesman didn't bother to reply with the info I requested so I ended up calling the dealership.

Well I think this more than justifies my rating. I'll see how my car purchase turns out & will revisit this review if warranted. Based upon the experiences so far I doubt any positive revisions will be warranted. *Speaking of positive I did receive excellent service from a parts dept employee & everyone else I came in contact with in the service & sales depts aside from the 2 primary service givers I've dealt with. Also I do believe my maintenance & repair work was thorough.*

As good as it gets!  

Brumos Lexus of Jacksonville is customer focused and a great place to buy a Lexus!  
Steve listened to our family needs and gave us great deals on 3 cars.  

Christian was very sincere and helped with our questions when we were getting our cars serviced.  

This dealership is a keeper as we had a bad experience dealing with the previous dealership in this same location.  Glad they are no longer here -- they didn't deserve to continue with poor business practices and dishonesty.  

Brumos Lexus is a refreshing breath of fresh air.

A real nice car dealership, unfortunately I couldn't fit in the model I was interested in due to a lack of headroom. So I'm still looking.

My second YELP review, and I only post reviews when the establishment really deserves the praise.

Usually I do the maintenance on my vehicle by myself or with help from my friends.  However, after purchasing a Lexus GS300, I decided to drop it off at Lexus of Jacksonville.  I was EXTREMELY skeptical especially since my wife had a bad experience at one of the local dealership, *cough* Arlington Toyota *cough* , and I am generally weary of the establishment in Jacksonville.  Coming from larger metropolitan area, I find most businesses here in Duuvvvaaall to be country and backwards.

Anyways, I took my Lexus in for a 65K routine maintenance, and my service advisor was Jomar Cabanwan.  Jomar was extremely professional and explained to me exactly what my maintenance entails.  He didn't try to upsell me, and he didn't try to be "down with me".  I liked his sincerity.  He also provided me with a loaner vehicle and was able to get me in out of the dealership within 20 mins.  If my experiences had ended here, I would've gave Lexus of Jacksonville a 4 star, but it gets better.

When I went to pick up my vehicle, my vehicle was washed and topped off with a tank of gas since it was my first visit.  Perhaps it's standard, but for me, what Jomar and the Lexus of Jacksonville team did was anything but ordinary.   Most dealership these try to upsell you or bs you so bad that most people are scared of dealership, but not Lexus of Jacksonville.  In fact I was so surprised when I picked up my vehicle, I ACTUALLY FELT BAD and offered to buy the service advisor some beer (he declined).  

See I actually had calculated how much it would cost for me to do the maintenance myself, and after the free tank of gas, I paid for $100 more and didn't have to get my hands dirty.  For me, it was worth it.

Value, service beyond expectations and a nice lounge with free snacks.  5 stars.

I am even taking my car in for a oil change and paying $90 just because it's so rare that I am surprised these days.
