I order a new car in March and took delivery of it yesterday. My experience with the Sales Person Ramon Martinez (Internet Sales Manager) was excellent. He made the experience go so smoothly. He was always available to take calls and answer questions. He is the way all sales staff need to emulate on how to take care of customers. I was treated as a king. People helped out with my twins carseats and helped to reinstall in the rental.
Everyone had a smile on their face and it was nice.
I was called up and updated on the cars situation as well as the service person(Quan) was nice to keep my car in charge.

My wife and I bought a 2015 Corvette Z06. Peter Julius was our sales rep and he was excellent. He kept us informed on the status of the car, as it was being built and delivered.
He was always available to speak with us, very pleasant and professional. We were well treated and everything I asked Peter to handle for us along the way was done smoothly and with care. When our new Z06 arrived, Peter ensured that the ground effects components were put aside as I requested, so that I could try the car without them on my first track runs. Peter arranged for us to get them installed at a later time, after we have tried the car and reach the point where we are ready to install them.
All in all, my wife, son and I had a wonderful experience visiting Momentum Chevrolet and working with Peter and the staff there to purchase our new 'vette.

I'm a little disappointed in the aftermath of buying the Camaro. While Rick and Patrick were awesome - I still haven't received my registration but I did receive a DMV renewal that is due in July. It's disappointing that the $207 I paid in February didn't actually cover my registration and will have to pay another $200 in July.

Few weekends ago, my hubby and I went to Momentum Chevrolet to look for a new Chevy Volt.  Prior to going to this location, my hubby called and shopped around some local bay area Chevy dealers and as far as some dealers in SoCal looking for the best deal we can get for this car.  Peter from Momentum was very friendly and helpful over the phone and didn't waste any time offering a great deal.

As soon as we arrived at the dealership, Carlos came over to ask how he could help. My hubby did all the research, shopped around and found a great deal but in his excitement forgot Peter's name who he spoke to over the phone!   I was disappointed and thought we would have to renegotiate at the dealership all over again.  

Carlos found the car we were looking for online and helped us test drive it.  Although he mentioned he was new to the dealership, he knew quite a bit about the Chevy Volt and was able to quickly answer our questions.  When it came time to talk numbers, instead of starting over and wasting time, he stepped aside and helped us find the salesperson my hubby previously spoke with.  That's teamwork!  After a few minutes of searching, we heard Peter's low, booming, radio-personality voice and my hubby knew it was the salesperson that he talked to over the phone.

Peter was the man! He immediately remembered us and honored the deal. Of course, being a good customer, we tried our best to ask for any additional discounts. Peter is a no-pressure salesman and offered multiple options to help us get the price within our budget.  Within less than 15 min of negotiation, we decided on the purchase.  The paperwork and financing was relatively fast and smooth and Peter had our car washed, detailed, and ready to go that afternoon.

After the paperwork, Peter stuck with us and answered all our questions during the walkthrough of the car and helped us register for OnStar and XM radio.  Even after the sale, he helped exchange the cargo net (an option we didn't have use for) with all weather floor mats which we would much rather have.  The next day we received a follow up email with a ton of useful information on applying for Fed and CA rebates, San Jose parking incentives, and a bunch of other benefits of owning a Chevy Volt.

I have had a lot of bad car shopping experiences in the past with dealers trying to squeeze ever penny from you with long negotiation tactics or if you have decided on the car, won't help any further.  The guys at Momentum (especially Peter and Carlos!) made the experience quick and easy.  I would totally recommend them to anyone who is looking for a Chevy!

Don't get momentum confused with formerly known courtesy chev.
I recently went in to see the Silverados at MOMENTUM.  I've been looking since mid Nov. 14. So I pretty much got the price tags down.  
On my last visit one of the salesmen was really pushing it on the a specific truck I noticed it was badly rear-ended as we walked up to it.  But didn't say nothing.  
I pointed out the one I liked and asked for the reason the price was upted 7,000 dollars after msrp.  He stated it was an additional 7,000 for nor. Cal package.  I pointed out the package was already included in the msrp which means they are charging twice for it.  
I also noticed the sticker stripes on the truck were coming off.
Since he was pushing the rear-ended truck I pointed out the black grill is something  I really want he stated "it's just going to get faded within a couple of months"
Not a good selling point buddy.
I think it's ridiculous to up a vehicle 7,000 but it made sense since they had the 6,000 rebate sale.  
People if you value your money do your homework

This dealer deserves more than 5 stars! What an amazing customer service they have.

I leased a Tahoe yesterday from this dealer and I was blown away by the amazing customer service, responsiveness, transparency and genuine care about the customer these guys have!!!

When you go there ask for Troy and George Soliman! These two gentlemen did wonders and they help smooth out the process and close the deal in a fast, transparent and efficient manner.

Buying a car can sometimes be a headache, however Mike Dionne and Malik Salman made it quick and easy. Both Mike and Malik were professional, friendly, funny, took care of us in every sense of the word and were very conscious of the fact that we had a 5 month old baby with us. Both Mike and Malik really worked with us until we were both satisfied with price, they threw in some extra goodies, and made us feel that they valued our business. Good old fashioned customer service is hard to find nowadays, but you will find it here at Momentum Chevrolet. We left satisfied with our negotiations and happy with our vehicle. Mike even called us the next day to check on us and make sure that we were satisfied with our vehicle. If you're shopping for a car ask for Mike and Malik.

I'd like to start by saying I am not a frequent yelper. However, I 'd like to thank Al and Oya from the credit department at Chevy Momentum. They were a pleasure to work with. After being shut down by many dealerships due to my not so great credit, I was ready to give up. But I received a call from AL eager to help me convinced me to come down just to look at inventory. I ended up walking out with a pre owned like new 2013 volkswagen jetta that no one else would approve me for. I was really in shock in less then 2 hours I test drove the vehicle which was very pleasant ride with Oya and I was able to obtain a lil bit of knowledge about intrest and principle numbers and how to keep lowering both numbers throughout the life of my term. I recommend anyone in my situation that thinks there is just no hope in getting a car, give them a try. I figured I take the try and was 100% happy with outcome. You can be happy too!

Went in to test drive a vehicle after inquiring about it online.  Received an email telling me the vehicle I wanted was "available" and suggesting I come in for a test drive.

Upon doing so a short time later, and having driven down from the upper peninsula AND asking my gf to drive herself down to meet me (because i was pretty sure I was going to buy it and wanted her to check it out)...I met with Troy, who, after bringing me outside to look at a vehicle matching the description, asked me "are you sure this is the car you looked at?  Because this one looks like it's sold." - I'm like, uh, you work here!  Shouldn't you know that?  Didn't you just send me an email saying this was available??  

This was followed up by hemming and hawing and some shenanigans trying to get me sit down and start providing personal info - long story short I felt duped and this guy either had a really bad day or is not up to the job.  And I would be wary of any seemingly good deals you see in their online listings...

UPDATE:  have to update to 3 stars after the company reached out with an apology post-review.  Will have to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume the "bad day" theory holds - and may consider giving them one more shot.

Momentum service and sales dept is great. I was a long time customer at Capitol Chevy but after I heard that their best Volt salesman, Paul Duran, moved to Momentum, I knew I had to move over also.  I recently had a small issue with my Volt charger and Paul directed me to work with Quan in the service dept. What a neat experience working with him as well and looking froward to coming back to take care of our general services for years to come.

I was a longtime customer of Momentum (purchased 2 family cars and roughly 5 years of service and parts) but lately their customer service has become absolutely terrible, specifically in their service department.  If you can even find someone to help you after wandering the service department, you will need to wait 5-10 minutes outside their closed sliding door while they finish whatever they were working on, which is all good, but then being treated like an inconvenience to them makes you feel bad for even coming in, even after spending probably close to $100K there.

And it gets worse.  You can book an appointment up to 5PM on their website only to get a call the next day informing you "the service manager said no appointments after 3PM".  Update your website then.  You can drop your car off at 1PM for an oil change (with an appointment and an estimated time of an hour and a half) and not be able to pick it up until 6PM because "they were short a mechanic".  That's not the customer's problem and 5 hours for an oil change tells me you probably just forgot about my truck.  You can give them special instructions for your vehicle like do not adjust the tire pressure because they are filled with nitrogen, but they'll still adjust your tire pressure for you because the "company name change caused them to lose all historical information" yet they still seem to know I haven't completed my $1K 60K mile service.

I take a lot of pride in my vehicles which means I usually take pride in where I take them, even to the point that I will spend the extra money on parts and service to have a Chevy dealership do the work, but with the deteriorating service and my most recent ATTEMPT at getting my truck serviced at Momentum I am going to start looking for a new Chevy dealership.  Any suggestions?

The service department is painfully slow! I had an appointment for an oil change at 7:30 AM on a weekday and didn't get out of there for almost 2 hours. The customer service wasn't impressive by any means. Why make an appointment if it is still going to take 2 hours? I certainly will not be taking either of our cars back to Momentum for service.

Truly a professional organization who's culture believes in doing what is right for its customers. After purchasing a 2012 Volt from another dealer, and having several non dealer related service issues, the team at Momemtum stepped in to not only solve my problems, but they went out of their way to help me and to insure I was completely satisfied.  Dennis in service was instrumental as was the service director John Goodrich, both were professional and courteous and got the job done.  Lisa in Internet sales and the General Sales Manager Efrain Moreno truly understand customer service and how to develop long term client relationships! My sales person Ramom Martinez was also truly a pro, he went way beyond the call of duty to take care of me. Overall this has been a great experience , they turned a possible ugly situation into a win/win, for me , the dealership and for GM corporate.  Our firm has several GM trucks and I look forward to giving Momentum Chevrolet our business in the future.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in yesterday to buy a car and I am a first time buyer so I took my grandmother whos may I add a manager. We were treated like shit the whole time idk if they thought we didn't have money to spend or what. So we finally choose a car and the guy runs the credit and basically says my interest rate will be 22% at that said my grandmother said lets go. A whole bunch of drama happened after that with the dealer and MANAGER. So she finally says lets try me as a co signer he comes back total different attitude after seeing her credit score and how much she made.what a joke that we get a little better service after seeing she makes a lot of money. So we decide lets buy we then find out we were about to purchase a car we didnt want ! Some how in the confusion the dealer thought we wanted the impala instead of jeep. He then tried saying "my group" said they wanted the impala. Uhm no we said how much ! The manager finally comes out and is saying we have nothing to hide blah blah by then my gma was fed up and so was I. I work in customer service and this was the worst and being a manager if u see ur employee walking back and forth to you come out to the floor and see what the issue is instead of waiting till the end when things are tense. So guess what we went to a dealer down the street got a NEWER YEAR car all LEATHER inside not CLOTH like here with out having my grandma needing to co sign and my intrest rate was 12% not 22% that they were trynna scam me on here and 2000$ less then here for a car that's 3yrs newer then what they were trynna sell me here!!!! The other dealer also told my grandma she qualified for a 3-5% interst rate if she co signed for me as with momentum they told her 7% . So yeah this place is horrible not to mention when my gma told the dealer "ur not even trynna work with us here and i know kuz im in the same business " he then laughed and said oh yeah what is that. Lmfao obviously she is kuz she called them out and got me a 2014 car leather interior lower miles WAY lower interest rate 2000$ less then the 2011 car with cloth here. Even the other dealer told us the rate is basically paying for 2 cars. What a joke establishment. Oh and a lower down payment . I can go on all day my gma also told the dealer what their competitors were offering and he laughed and said no their not. Uhm obviously they are ! Trynna talk to my gma like she doesnt know talking to someone who's owned their own business in the same business& in management. Lol thank the lord for my grandmother saved me tons of money and from being fucked over!

I wish I could give them 0 stars.  I will never ever go there again nor would I recommend to anyone.  I went on their website and found a really nice truck for a really great price, however when I went to purchase it and to see it in person, the sales manager would not sell it for the sale price that was posted on their website.  They put a false advertisement on the website and refused to hold their commitment to it.  they tried to tell us that they had nothing to do with their website.  On top of everything, they kept us in for 2 hours while they were trying to change the website and take off the sales price and then told us that they would not sell it.

First off the people who run this place are horrible, they absolutely do not care for the customer. Lots of false advertisements with low listing prices just to bring people in that are ready to buy a car (for the price they assumed was correct). There is not much to say about them, the only people buying things there are people that were played that thought they were getting a deal. A waste of time.

Since my last visit my experience with this dealership just keeps getting worse. They did reachout to me after my yelp review. But that was all, when I replied they never responded afterword.
Today I went in for my regular scheduled  maintenance, since I do have a plan I paid for with them. Come to find out they no longer are fulfilling the maintenance plans they used to sell, they changed names several months back, but now out of know where they are using this excuse to cheat people out of money. I tried to get a refund since I'm barely halfway through my plan. But they refused saying I need to call the old company to get my refund. That's BS. They owe the company now they should have to fulfill all previous contracts.   Be careful people

We just went to their dealership here on Stevens creek and the man who came out to help was very neutral at first until further into the conversation. He started racial comments towards us and how we would want "26's on our car" and a bunch of other non sense. As soon as his ignorant comments kept coming out of his mouth I was instantly over it.  It's disgusting and I would never walk back into that lot. If you're going to be a sales man, be a good one and don't turn people off with your ignorance. Two customers lost due to their employee named Phillip Davis.

Got my car at Momentum Chevy and I looked many places and all the sales guys elsewhere were rude. I really liked how they helped me get rid of my car which was a salvage but they wanted me to drive off the lot with the car and so did I! I traded in my old, unsafe car and got my new Holds Pilot which I LOVE! They have quite a selection and also have the Carfax on the dash of every car. Definitely go get your next vehicle there!

Not only I had to pay for those three months' to bring the registration to current, I also got an unregistered vehicle citation from the cops now I have to go through the trouble to fight it off.

This place is awful. My friend bought a new car and was currently making payments on the car I traded in. Momentum was to consolidate payments for me and failed to. This cost me over 700 dollars in additional payments and when I brought it to the staffs attention... They dodged me. Place is God awful...

I took the vehicle in for a transmission cable recall (GM Safety recall 14152). They replaced the cable, but on top of a wiring harness, pushing the harness down and activating the key interlock cable. The result was the key would not release from the ignition. Note, I didn't know *what* they broke until taking the dashboard apart and fixing the issue; however since the problem was the transmission / ignition key interlock, the source of the problem was easy to find in the end.

That day (2/25/15) I complained; they refused to accept responsibility and refused to repair it.
I returned the following day (2/26/15). They again refused to repair it unless I agreed to accept responsibility.

I was then contacted by their customer service (about an hour later), who first offered me a loaner; then called back and retracted the offer and offered to send a tech to my house to fix it; then called back and offered to let me have it towed to them with no promise to do anything.  At that point CS confirmed that they considered the failure to be "not their fault" as they hadn't touched the lock. I informed them at that time that I thought this was irrelevant, as it was probably a cable from the transmission, not the lock, that was point of failure.

I have since jury-rigged a fix, but can't fix it myself without removing the shift cable or the wiring harness (both outside my skill set).

They did follow up saying "we'll take this right to the top" (ref review on their FB page).  That resulted in a call the next day asking if I had gotten a response, and trying to sell me a new car instead.

Ongoing failure, and no, apparently, it isn't worth 5 min of their time to shift the position of the cable/wiring harness.  

Great cars; sadly pathetic service.

We stop by at the Chevorolet, we met great people working there at the dealers. They had a very nice truck, we made a good deal and bought the truck. Silverado Z71 has all the options and they explained everything to us. When we bought the truck they kept my son busy eating and drinking. I will go back again to buy another car from there. I recommend to my friends and who ever wants to buy a car from there. Im very satisfied with my truck!

I had a wonderful experience at this location. I am a first time car buyer, and don't have the best credit. (Thanks to my stupid teen years). I had previously went to 3 car lots before and was shut down by all, unless I had a ridiculously huge down payment. I had honestly lost hope. Until my boyfriend came across an ad in Kiregslist  for Momentum Chevy, he spoke with Mike on the phone and explained my situation, we Where encouraged to come in and give it a try. Going in I had already prepared myself to not be so disappointed when I got turned down yet again. However, Mike and his manager George where determined to get me into a car. And that they did!! George really worked with us and my not so great credit trying Every possible way to ensure we could afford the down payment And be able to handle the monthly payments. They made us feel very comfortable and positive about everything and not once doubted it could be done. We are very happy in our new car! I absolutely LOVE it! And! Mike referred us to a friend of his at Nation Wide who gave me the best quote to fully insure my car. I will be switching my insurance very soon!!!

I had a car accident recently and I am very stressful to drive now.I don't want to drive Honda or Toyota any more. I did a lot of homework for a safest car with  affordable price.  I found Chevrolet Cruz is #5 safest  car in  States.

I went to Momentum Chevrolet  for leasing this car on  Feb 21 and Feb 22. Sales manager George Soliman  was very nice and did a lot of calculation for me. I got a very good deal for new GM Leasee finally. I am very happy with the car price and my new car.

Salesman, Carlos Agudelo  is an honest person and he was very patient and taught me all function and details and  new technology with this car a couple of times.

In short, Chevrolet is one of the top safest car and Momentum Chevrolet is a good dealership.

Horrible customer service from the parts department, I never had this type of service when this dealership was called Courtesy Chevrolet. I called in yesterday looking for some emblems, the lady that answered was rude and gave me an attitude when I asked for the parts. She then said she wasn't pulling up anything and asked for my phone number and told me she'd call me back, never received a call back. Today I called back and got the exact same results, same poor attitude and was hung up on right after she told me to hold so she can look for the part". This dealer is close to my house so I tried buying the parts at this location, instead I'll be driving to Fremont Chevrolet where the parts rep was friendly and found the parts I was looking for in less than 2 minutes.

I have a 2004 Chevy Malibu that had some recall issues and then some.   I had one recall done and then had an issue in starting the car.  I was unable to get the vehicle to the dealership.  The service Manager, John had spoke with me over the phone about the obstacles I was encountering.  Through much perseverance and dedication the problem was finally solved and my car runs and starts without hesitation.

I brought my 2010 Camaro in for an inspection because I'm taking it on a road trip; they found a coolant plug that needed to be replaced. Without this service, I could have done serious damage to the engine. I personally spoke with the mechanic and service adviser via telephone. The service adviser included the mechanic in the phone meeting to answer any technical/mechanical questions I had that he may not be able to answer. Momentum's service staff has always been very helpful and includes detailed information about what's happening with my car. I highly recommend using DENNIS LOWE for your service adviser. This is more than a job for him, he's a "car guy".

Ugh, worst car shopping experience of my life.
I inquired about a car online, and then Jessica Lane got in touch with me.
Once there, we went for a test drive, and she was nice until then, but then she got very very aggressive. Pressured me to buy a car when I explicitly told her I was not ready to buy that day. She kept asking "What can we do to make sure you buy today?" My original appointment was 11:15. She kept me until past 3PM to try to get me to buy when I hadn't had lunch and was just getting sick of the whole thing. Additionally, when I was not a fan of the prices she acted like there was something wrong with me. Finally, she got a manager to come in and when I told him I hadn't eaten lunch yet and really just wanted to leave, he said "ok, well I'll buy you lunch if you buy a car." Uhhh excuse me? Last I checked, that is the worst reason for me to buy a car. No thank you.

Avoid this place. Worst customer service I've experienced from a car dealership.

We were lucky enough to be looked after by Stephen Fields, the general manager of this dealership. Stephen is the true definition of a class-act; we knew after interacting with him for about 10 minutes, we would be walking out of the dealership with a brand new car. Purchasing a car is usually a stressful, time-consuming, and unpleasant experience, but with Stephen by our side, it made the entire afternoon much more enjoyable. We were treated like VIPs by everyone at the dealership and it was great to have a chat with people from different departments while we waited on the paperwork. I walked in this dealership and sales people hovering outside like hungry vultures. I was greeted by a younger sales associate who continually answered or made a phone call on his cell phone while he try to answer my question regarding a c6 corvette. Another associate by the name of John tried to convince me that the corvette plant in kentucky builds a handful of right hand drive corvettes for Germany. Last time i checked germany is a left hand drive country. You still get the feeling of your about to get robbed type dealership.  My quest for a z06 continues but it probably wont be coming from here.

A very happy customer!!!  on Sunday myself and  my husband went with my son Vincent to purchase his 1st car a brand new 2015 Chevy Camaro. mind you I went in thinking oh no I hate dealing with salesmen. the first one we came across was Randy's Saba he was very pleasant and made me feel really comfortable.he showed us around at the cars that we wanted to see including a truck that we were looking at.  when we found the car that my son was looking at  we went into the office to try to find out how much it would be for my son and to see if he can qualify for the car. needless to say we met a nice gentleman by the name of Jericho Espiritu he is one of the sales manager for momentum Chevrolet. we got along really good with him he's a great gentleman really really good person he made us feel very welcome to be there and that they really wanted our business. needless to say after all in all was said and done I had to help cosign for my sons car but the good news was he was purchasing this brand new 2015 Chevy Camaro and he was so excited and we were excited for him.  although they did not have the car in stock we were okay with that.   we went ahead and got the numbers together and purchase the vehicle. this is where we met a very very nice gentleman by the name of David he was our Finance Manager we were so happy that Jericho and David explain to us in detail about the gap insurance and the warranty we were so happy that we got that. we believe in the long run it's going to be to our benefit and they kept us well within our budget so thank you again gentleman that was the best thing that you could have done for us. we waited a few days for our vehicle and found out that the other dealer that had the car we purchased sold it. The same day needless to say Randy and Jericho went out of there way to find us another car Jericho even personally went to pick up or new car from Tracy so thank you Jericho your  a God sent. And please THANK your people in Tracy and Mahalo for  you for driving it all the way back. Also please THANK the detailer he did a beautiful job on the car. We will be seeing you soon for our new truck. Mahalo again Jericho, Randy, David oh and Rick Choudhary for getting us out fast when we signed the new papers. Great job Gentleman. I have been calling 408-215-1017 and 408-215-1014...it's Monday morning started calling at 10am...no answer..rings and rings and rings then it puts me into a voicemail...REALLY??!!  Tried again...same situation voicemail. After continuing to try, can you imagine how frustrating it is for no answer at a place of business. Where is everyone...still eating turkey or hungover from too much drinking? I am a first time customer and this business can not even answer the phone at 10:30am. What the heck???? Finally get through at 10:48..."oh our receptionist is not in today"...if this company can not get it together to answer incoming calls then how the heck does the rest of this business work. I have 3 GM vehicles looking for service place and do you think I am now gonna give them my business?? Heck no...Monday morning it took 40 minutes for the phone to be answered while I was busy at work trying to give them my business. Sorry Momentum Chevy that your receptionist is out but to not answer your incoming calls.....you made my choice easy if I give you my business or not!  Its a big NOT! And think of how much business you have now lost because of unanswered phones. There are other dealerships around here that will do a much better job!!

I came here on Saturday with my husband and my two small children on Saturday. We fell in love with a Mercedes GL 430 4matic. When it came down to negotiation time my children became restless and the staff were compassionate and offered beverages and food from their restaurant. Very family friendly which makes the process that much more pleasant. As my husband was negotiating the Sales Manager Jericho Espiritu came out and spoke to us. He basically broke it down like what do we need to do to make a deal I want to sell cars not collect them. We did some figures and after all the paper work, trade-in and all that was complete we walked off the lot with our new car! I must commend the general manager Stephan Fields for his push for excellent customer services his strive for excellence is absorbed in his staff. I will be purchasing all my future vehicles here and will refer this place to all friends and family. It is hard to find a dealership of this caliber where you do not feel poached or pressured to do make a deal!

So far have called 3 times in the last week trying to get to a specific department (parts) and every time I have to get bounced around to 2, 3, sometimes 4 people before I eventually get to a voice mail box that hasn't provided any help. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! No one answers phone at repair shop. If they do, your on hold forever. Tried to make appt through email advertisement, they sent me. Never confirmed!  Finally went in personally.  Tried to give me run the around. I used the coupon they sent me in mail. They did extra, NOT AT MY REQUEST, so I had to pay for that. They suck! Never go here...

The only reason this dealership is getting 2 stars is because of the killer dealer we got on used vehicle.  It was supposedly a pricing error but we believed it would be worth the drive from the Sacramento area.  The sales manager Steve was a pleasure to work with and ask for positive feedback via social media.  I unfortunately, cannot do so.  

I'll start with the car buying experience.  My husband had been working with Peter on the phone and he seemed great and excited to help us.  Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were assigned a new salesperson (Tino) because Peter had already worked a  full day.   Tino was not nearly as personable let along knowledgeable of the vehicle.  Basic questions were not able to be answered that I had.  He also downplayed the value of my trade-in, indicating that some of the minor body dings would greatly impede their sell of it.  If I had to do it again, I would have not taking their trade-in offer and just sold in on my own.  They then marked the vehicle up 6.5K more than the trade-in.  Good luck getting that price.   Tino was also clearly in a hurry to get us out the door.  Granted it was later in the evening but we also drove over 2 hours to visit this dealership and we felt like an inconvenience the whole time by this salesperson. He also told us repeatedly that they "were doing us a favor with the deal on the vehicle"....even though they weren't, we were paying a posted priced on the internet with absolutely no discounts or deals beyond that.   We were literally told that fact about 5-6 times, it was annoying.  

We've been very happy with the vehicle but there are some things minor things wrong that show the dealerships lack of attention to detail and customer service.  This includes a missing gas cap, tank was almost empty (our fault for not negotiating a full tank of gas), one missing floor mat, missing rear privacy screen, layer of filth inside cup holders and cell phone compartment, no owners manual and only one key.  We did receive a follow up service at a partner dealership due to a slight vibration, free of charge,  so that was appreciated.  

Overall, I probably would have given 3 stars to this dealer but here's why I cannot and will not EVER recommend this place to anyone.  I feel generous for even giving 2 stars (we really like working with Steve and Peter, though that was brief).   First of all, they ran my credit 4 times.  I have financed many vehicles and other expensive items and NEVER had my credit run 4 times.  That's put a nice ding in my near perfect credit score.  Its also been almost 3 weeks and my former vehicle has not been paid off.  I am not too concerned about that fact but just needed some clarification from someone in the finance department.  Its been 3 days and I still cant get someone to help me.  Here's how the phone calls have gone...
Call #1 - Transferred to a voice mail box that was full and couldn't leave message.  Immediately call back...
Call #2 - Hung up on by receptionist.  Immediately call back...
Call #3 - Get transferred to service department who then transfer me to the receptionist, who the also has a full VM box.  Give up on calling for the day
Call #4 (2 days later)- Work up the nerve to call and get placed on hold.  After about 5 minutes, get hung up on.  Immediately call back
Call #5 - Speak with T-something(?) who says a person from finance will call me back (everyone was busy).  I asked him repeatedly if I would get a call and he assured me I would.
Call #6 (1 day later)- Since no one called me back, I tried again.  At this point, I am more upset.  Sergio tells me every manager and finance person is in a meeting but he will hand deliver my message "as soon as they are out of the meeting."  6 hours later, I have not heard from anyone
Call #7 (1 day later) - Spoke with Will, who claims to only be a salesperson and all the finance department is busy.   I asked for the GM's phone number at this point because I will be SHOCKED if anyone actually calls me back.

Last call was two days ago and called the GM yesterday.  Still waiting on SOMEONE to call me back.    

I am not sure the killer deal on the truck due to their error was worth the usual experience of buying a used car coupled with horrible customer service with answering/returning phone calls, screwing up the finance piece or neglecting minor (yet important) details with the vehicle.   Wont ever be back to this dealership and hope to be done dealing with them soon.

First of all you deal cars with defects in them. And then, you guys, dont think its important to give your customers sufficent time for their questions.

We found Momentum Chevrolet through the Truecar website.  We called in advance and Momentum told us the car-buying process would take "an hour and a half to two hours."  It took almost five hours, and certain people at the dealership were incredibly rude to us during that stretch.  Test-driving the car and learning about the Volt's idiosyncrasies took an hour.  After that, the long wait for financing began.  We had brought our young children along (as we did for our last car-purchasing trip, at a Mazda dealership, where the kids were welcomed).  We just sat around doing pretty much nothing, trying to keep the kids entertained -- the dealership did not even seem particularly busy.  They kept saying we'd be in to see the financing desk very soon. Toward the end of our near-five-hour wait, the kids were getting tired and hungry (though were still well behaved).  When it finally came time to sign the papers, I had run out to get food for the starving kids and was not immediately available to sign (my trip was quick and did not cause any appreciable delay).  The guy in the financing department said to my wife, in an acid voice, "Why didn't you get a babysitter?  Who brings children to purchase a car?"  Listen, buddy, you guys told us this would take ninety minutes or two hours.  Had you said that the financing department caused four-hour delays in the process, we might have considered a babysitter!  We complained to a manager about these comments, and we did receive a half-hearted apology ("There was a misunderstanding.").  BUT -- I can tell you that in our experience, this was a slow, rude dealership from which to purchase a car, and definitely not family-friendly. Honestly, I think they delay the financing sit-down for so long in order to wear you down, so that you'll sign anything.

This is for the service dept.  Overall I was happy and would probably come here again.  I went in for oil change and tire rotation.  This place is very busy, but I like how they have two indoor driveways where you drop off your car and little individual rooms where the they ask you for information.  The place is clean and the staff were nice.  They seem to have a lot of customers dropping off and picking up their cars, but the place seemed well organized to handle the volume.

Anyhow, I was told it would take two hours so I decided to wait at the dealer ship, but when I arrived  at 7am they told me they had a influx of cars from the previous day so it may take more more time.  In the end I believe it took 4 hours so this was not good.   I brought my laptop and was able to work in their waiting area so it was not a major issue for me.  However I didn't think it was right to be placed in a longer queue just because they cannot manage an influx of unplanned visits.  

On a positive note side they have a nice waiting area , cafe, free wi-fi and coffee.    They also have free shuttle service which I did not use, but I remember they asked when I came in and then staff came by waiting area numerous asking if anyone needed a ride.

I thought the price was higher than non- dealership places, but I felt service, location, and staff was worth it.

My husband and I, along with our two children, were traveling from San Francisco back down to south Orange County, when our 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid began misfiring pretty severely. Was told by their staff (and nearly all others within a 100 mile radius) that it was "absolutely impossible" to have our vehicle looked at, diagnosed and repaired on Thursday afternoon, as it was after 1 pm and they would need a special technician to work on the car. We were so bummed and apparently Dennis Lowe could see that on our faces, as he came out to our vehicle, just as we were getting back in it to leave and figure something else out. I don't know how I could ever thank him for getting our car looked at, diagnosed and repaired, but he did. The technician seemed to want to continue looking for additional things that could be wrong with it, but Dennis seemed confident they'd found the issue. We were on our way again within a few hours and made it home in time for me to make it to work the next day, and without paying an arm and a leg. I sincerely hope that Chevy knows what a fantastic employee they have in Dennis. He was fantastic with both of our children and so incredibly patient, something a lot of people don't have these days.

Upon reading other's reviews, each time I see Dennis' name, I see a 5-star rating. This doesn't surprise me! Appreciative that some folks will still go above and beyond for their customers! Thank you Dennis!!!

Horrible service. Understaffed and incapable of answering service related calls . After the call was dropped by a rude receptionist a few times, I finally showed up at the dealership. The mechanic in service department acted like he really was not happy to see any new customers and complained that they were overwhelmed because there were too many cars to service. Pathetic !!

VERY disappointing experience! Like several other reviewers it took me many calls to finally get in touch with someone.  I was either transferred to various lines then finally disconnected, or sent to voicemail with no callback.  After doing this a few times I finally was able to make an appointment for 11 a.m. for an oil change and tire rotation under the 2-year service agreement.  Didn't get better from there.

* 11 a.m. - arrived for my scheduled appointment

* 11:30 a.m.  - first time someone came to talk about my service.  They said it would take about 2hrs, so I utilized their shuttle to go back home and work.  Was promised a call once the car was ready and that they would send the shuttle.  

* 3:30 p.m.- still no call.  Tried to get in touch with someone in service, again the transferring and disconnections.  After my SEVENTH try to contact the service department, a sales person said he would walk my info over.  

* 4:30 p.m. - Still no contact 1 hr later.  Called and spoke with a woman who first said my car was almost ready, then said it was ready and I could pick it up.  When I reminded her that I needed the shuttle to pick me up she put me on hold and then asked for my contact information 3 times. She said they would dispatch the shuttle and pick me up.  

* 5:15 p.m. - still no shuttle (I live less than 10 min away).  Called back to ask the status of the shuttle and the woman dismissively told me I wasn't the only person they were dealing with and the shuttle would pick me up when he got there.

* 5:45 p.m. - shuttle finally arrives. Asked the driver when he was asked to pick me up, and he stated just a few minutes earlier while he was at the dealership. He stated he had passed by my house twice on other shuttle runs in the last hour.

The service manager is very nice, but they are very understaffed.  Can't understand why anyone would go back for service there until they get their act together.

What a horrendous experience... Long story. I have taken my car here multiple times before. I called to make an appointment for service. It took multiple calls due to the phone lines disconnecting, being sent to voicemails, no one picking up the phone and basically being sent around in circles before I actually had the chance to make an appointment.
My appointment was for Tuesday at 7:30 AM. The service guy told me they were really busy and would hopefully get back to me by the end of the day. No word by Tuesday night, or Wednesday. So I called Thursday around noon. THEY WERE JUST LOOKING AT MY CAR! Why make an appointment for Tuesday if they weren't going to see it til Thursday?!? I've already been without my car for two days... So by Thursday evening I have a diagnosis and an estimate. $700 to replace a vapor leak in the fuel line.
I call Friday morning to get more details regarding the price break down. My service guy says he is currently with a customer and will call me back. He doesn't. I call later and leave a voicemail. Don't hear back. I call the dealership and go through the same issue I had making the appointment. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone around there!! Horrible Horrible customer service!! He then explains that the $160 diagnosis fee is tacked on top of parts and labor, when before it was placed towards the cost of repairs (apparently a new thing with the new ownership.) The one upside is that he waived the $160 for me... Whatever... I finally got my car back tonight (a week later) and will be finding a location that makes an effort to take care of their customers
Oh! And my paper work said they had run my car through the car wash, it was obviously not washed, and when asked about it they said there are a lot of trees in the back of the lot

Then the receptionist offered to write down my information to run to the service center directly. I never got a call back. It's 2:20 pm on Friday. I will go to another dealership. I'm writing this review a little late, but here it is. I went to this chevy dealership a few times to get oil changes done. ive gone about 4-5 times and have only had 1 good experience. My last visit was the worst! i went in to get my car serviced before i left to LA. i was supposed to leave on a Thursday so i decided to drop it off on that weeks monday. they said it would be ready late tuesday or early wednesday. that never happened. they never even called me to let me know that my car wasnt going to be ready. i had to keep calling multiple times because i kept getting sent to voicemail or they just hung up on me. i didnt get my car back till the next week on monday. they said that they kept my car so long because the radiator was leaking and they wanted to fix it. which they went ahead and started fixing without calling to let me know. i will never go back to this place again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!  A car dealership that is a PLEASURE to do business with!

I bought a Chevy Volt yesterday and the experience was simply the best car buying experience I have ever had.  

Chevy itself is a big leap for me, having been a Honda guy all my life. Took the plunge based on the raving review of Volt (and the free car chargers at work!).  Tried a few random dealers in the peninsula - classic nightmare car buying experience - car not charged up, don't have model (after confirming it is on the phone),  going back on pricing after agreeing to it on the phone etc.

I registered through the costco website to get a recommendation and got introduced to Valentin Rosas @ Momentum Chevrolet.  Wow, what a difference a good sales person makes to the buying process!  

In the first few minutes of our call, it was clear Valentin was for real...I told him the exact model I wanted, he called me back in 20 minutes after he found it (in the exact color too!) In the next 5 minutes we agreed on pricing, that was it!  He had the car cleaned up and when I went there on my appointment time, he was ready with my paperwork!!!!  The numbers added upto the penny of what he quoted.  

Then we go over to finance to complete the paperwork and I am expecting hardsell on "undercoating", rustproofing and theft protection!!  And zilch, nada, absolutely no BS, I sign away the paper work and we are done in 5 minutes at finance!!

This has got to be my best car buying experience!!  Absolutely efficient and fantastic!

I had the misfortune of three flat tires that had to be replaced less than a few months apart since my former company was doing construction and leaving nails and debris all over the place. I came in recently - less than a year later - with a tire problem that was difficult to diagnose. Dennis Lowe, who has been my service advisor for a few years, thought maybe it was a problem with the sensor, which they fixed but the tire was losing air again a few days later. They still couldn't find anything in the tire, but Dennis, along with John Goodrich, replaced my tire for me as a courtesy since they knew how many tires I had to replace so recently. I really appreciate their service and willingness to help out a customer! I have been extremely happy with my Volt and the service at Courtesy/now Momentum. I agree that the lines are sometimes long, especially in the morning, and it's sometimes hard to reach the service department (calls are often dropped when transferring), so  I hope that the new ownership sees this kind of feedback here on Yelp and works on these problems.

Service department or operator hardly ever picks up the phone.  Had to go to a different department to get transfered.  And I got a machine when I finally got transfered.   And all I need to do is ask a few questions from the service tech who worked on my car.  If my car was there it would be one star.

I went into Momentum Chevrolet on Labor Day weekend hoping to get my dream car but after my assumed cosigner backed out on me last minute, almost all seemed impossible. I want to give a special thanks to Stephen Fields, Sergey Maskalik, Mike Nguyen, David Civelli & Bobby Koucheke for all coming together to keep my dream alive. It took the entire day and those group of people did everything they could, & sure enough I drove off their lot in my dream car at 12am that night...I highly recommend anyone who plans on getting a new car to go Momentum Chevrolet!!! Before Labor Day I had never been to a car dealership where the sales people there where not trying to rip you off to your very last dollar. I can honestly say that the team at Momentum Chevrolet genuinely care and work with you on getting the best deal possible for your vehicle. They did it for me and I'm sure they'll do it for you. I called to set up an appointment to have the oil changed and was told it was first come first served. Upon arrival I was told it would be a 3 1/1 hour wait, and why didn't I make an appointment? Needless to say I can see why there are so many bad reviews for this dealership. I won't be back.

I liked the size of the vehicle and thought it would be nice to test drive one.  I went to the newly changed name of Momentum and came across a salesmen in a nice blue polo shirt and a nice smile.  I found out his name is Steve Glass and asked him where on the lot this particular car was.  He graciously was able to show me the car quickly and let me test drive it, he was knowledgeable and when I am ready to buy this car I will return to him.

I recently have taken two different cars for service to this dealer as well as helped a friend purchase two cars from this dealer.

First time for service, the service adviser, Dennis, was decent but stand offish.  The tech that worked on my car (I'm sorry, I wish I could remember your name!) was AMAZING though.  Kudos to him.

The second time, the same service adviser was a complete jerk to me.  He basically told me to GTFO and I was eventually helped by Lori who was kind but nothing special to be honest.  Additionally, we were charged $150 for them to do nothing (they said they couldn't find anything wrong) and the next day, the car still had the same problem.

Finally, the two purchased cars.  My friend purchased a used car from them and the experience was ok, not great, not bad.  After a while, we traded in this car and because it had some small damage on the front quarter panel, the salesmen threw a huge fit and declared that the car had to be scrapped and offered us $1500 for it.  This is an insulting price but my friend decided to take it anyway.  After thinking about it, I decided I wanted to buy the car back as there was nothing wrong with it and I figured I could make some minor repairs to it myself and donate it to a needy family.

The sales manager (Guy) threw a HUGE tantrum, accused me of being angry with him (I was not, I was calm and did not raise my voice once) and acted like me buying the car back was the worst insult he had ever had in his life.  He repeatedly told me that they were a "for profit" business and had to make money like I should care how much money they make.

I will never go here again simply because I expect to be treated with respect, not like a criminal or something.  I've referred many people here but will never do so again.

I've been trying to find a decent dealer I can deal with for the rest of my life since moving to the Bay Area 6 years ago.  I have yet to find that dealer.  Thanks Momentum, you've lost a customer - and many others that I would have referred - for life.

Last month I dropped off my Camaro to have the A/C system fixed.  Service charged the system, searched for problem, failed to fix it, charged me for their effort, and a Lot attendant broke the rear taillight lens cover.  
The Service Manager just contacted me, provided a replacement tail light (which I know was hard to find), noted a problem with their A/C service equipment, and refunded my payment for the service charge.
I was very impressed with his willingness to make things right.  I was also impressed with other employees in Finance, Sales, Parts, and Service that took time to help me.
Hopefully, this is a sign of a positive turn-around for this new operation.

We recently decided to buy another car, but I was hesitant to go to a big dealership, because of a past bad experience ( with a ford dealership). My husband and I went in to look at cars and were graciously greeted by Peter J. He was patient and helpful and not too pushy, which we appreciated. We finally picked out a car and were handed off to Nathan in finance. He was very polite and personable, told us about all of our options and I didn't feel cornered or pressured Into any " additional" products or warranties. When we decide to get another vehicle, I will definitely be returning to see them again. Thanks to Peter and Nathan, they have changed my previous negative feeling about dealerships and usual games they play. Thank you guys! You rock! And we love our car :-)

In Sept 2012 I purchased a Crew Cab SIlverado.  Most of the purchase process was fine, but it was eventually a setup to con me through the finance guy.  I have spoken with a colleague who had the EXACT same experience, so this wasn't an innocent mistake.

Process of selecting the vehicle was fine- they were good about letting me look around without hassling me, let me take it out for a test ride without the sale guy (I was with my wife and two kids, and my car was sitting on their lot while I was out on the test drive.)

Once I decided I wanted to buy it, I told the rep, "No BS.  You're going to give me your lowest number once, and we're going to agree on a price."  He spoke with the GM (whom I'd met previously).  We agreed on a price, net of all rebates.  He wrote the price on a piece of paper, so there was no misunderstanding.

When I went to Finance, the finance guy wrote up the price as the figure on the paper PLUS the value of the rebates.  Fed me a line about how "this is how it gets written up, but you're only paying that".  Since I'm not a contracts lawyer, I didn't know better.

I was wrong.  There was no rebate check in the mail, etc. I just got screwed on the price of the truck.

I spoke with a colleague recently and found out he'd had exactly the same experience.  This is not a coincidence.  The finance department appears to have intentionally misled me about the actual price I'd pay for the vehicle.

I will never return- not even for an oil change.

I was surprised by the nice offer to talk (posted in their reply).  However, it appears that was just for "social media points".  They offered to talk this though, but all I got was a request for my contact info.  I provided contact info and followed up a few times, but I still have't heard back from them.  

Rule #1 of social media:  Be sincere and honest.
Rule #2: If you can't be sincere, keep your mouth shut.  Don't tell someone you'll help if it's just for show.

FRI 7/25/14--back to Momentum Chevrolet for a second try of my earlier debacles
oil change. This time - I made an appointment for an oil change and to have an accessory part installed. (Ordering and paying for the part is another horrific story--I'll save everyone from the agony)
I was greeted and helped after 14 mins since my "Yelp" check in by Lori who I've worked with before and who continued to be professional and helpful. She was awesome and a relief to have as an ally. Then...I waited and waited for one of the two courtesy shuttles. Both couldn't be reached by staff via telephone and another customer and I had already waited 75 mins. John (service manager) realized we were taking up real estate in front of his office and gave his company car keys to a person who could drive us to our destinations. Whew!! ...Sooner than expected I received a call from Lori stating my truck was ready. How cool. Got a ride to Momentum then was told the truck wasn't ready-it was in the wash. Ok..no problemo. The "wash" took 65 additional mins! Lori again realized the delay and did what she could too remedy the issues. The oil change, accessory part installation and wash were well accomplished. It was the lack of overall customer service and hospitality that undermined the experience. I purchased my Silverado from Courtesy in 2008 and had a service contract included. This day I purposefully used all the credit on my contract so that I could cut the cord with Momentum/Courtesy Chevrolet and not feel like a hostage to their ways of conducting business. I'm relieved to have the opportunity to take my business to another Yelp approved vehicle service provider that will value my loyalty and hard earned money.  Hence this should be my last check in and review of Momentum / Courtesy Chevrolet.

My wife and I went there to lease a car and have had one of the best experiences ever. Peter was simply outstanding! It never appeared to be a "job" for him to work with us, it was sincere and he explained every single detail, process as well as potential hick ups, up front and didn´t promise anything he was not able to hold. I recently purchased a 2014 Camaro SS and Nathan helped me with the finances and helped me get me covered for everything I needed. Ramon and Nathan made themselves very easy to get in contact with and always answered all of my questions promptly and never left me guessing about anything.

Communications and workflow seem to be suffering.

Today, we dropped our Volt off to finish some work that was not completed a few weeks ago. Lines were long, loaner cars were not available, shuttle to Enterprise took 45minutes, no Chevy products were available there (required for courtesy rentals), left two other nice folks behind while they waited even longer for cars. It should not take two hours to drop off a car for service. I'll probably be a bit less annoyed if the car actually gets fixed in a timely manner this time...

Sorry folks, I'm no longer being impressed.
