Ben is a grade A jerk. Went in looking for a specific car. Was asked to come back in 2 hours- you just let a potential $10k sale leave- uh ok. Were the dumb ones who left and actually came back. Ben was unprofessional, rude and patronizing. Wouldn't move on the price. Gave me the 3rd degree and then said "you need to come back Monday I can't get you financed." Uh well that's what I asked when I called!! So I could go back Monday. But since he was such an unprofessional prick I'll take my business elsewhere!!

Having bought quite a few cars in my life, I was impressed by the sincerity shown by the manager, Robert. He seemed to truly care that I buy a quality car. I asked that he take care of a detailing issue before I drove my new car home. He happily agreed, but I would have to come back the next day. That was fine with me. The next day... There were over a hundred and fifty more miles on the car!!!! It already had a ton of miles on it (which accounted for a decent price) but ANOTHER 150!!?? Where on Earth did they take it?
As well, there was hardly enough gas in the car to get to a station. Had these two things not occurred, they would have gotten a 4 star rating from me. Still not a 5 star because the guy that wrote up my paperwork was WAY too casual about details. Instead of putting the exact mileage, he rounded (way down) and I had to ask him to correct it. He did not note the added detailing (if something were to happen , there is no record and I'd be screwed).
So, yes, I would recommend this place to people. BUT GO IN EDUCATED AND LOOK AT EVERYTHING. As with any car dealer transaction -- ALWAYS get every detail written down. You would be surprised what can come back and bite you.

Update: After having driven my car for a while now (it is at 203,000+ miles) I have to say I have never driven something as reliable as this car. Never. I have done zero maintenence on it yet it runs like new. I am VERY happy.

I was looking to buy a car for the longest time. I heard about this place from a few people how I can buy a car from here at a reasonable price while receiving great service. they found me a great car at the price range I was looking for. I got a better deal then all the other 10 dealerships I was wasting my time at. best part is, it was so quick and easy. the whole staff is very friendly and they don't try to force sale anything. they asked all the right questions to better understand what I am looking for. I rate this the friendliest car sales in all of Bay Area.

It was the afternoon of New Year's Eve and I was determined to purchase an Acura TL 3.2 before the year was over.  I had 3 different dealerships with 3 different Acuras(but similar mileage) to check out.  The first stop was Capitol Auto Sales.  I was greeted by a friendly, highly informative and helpful man by the name of Bernard.  He was honest about the car's current conditions (not immediately visible to the naked eye).  He even offered to repaint and detail the vehicle's bumper if I chose to purchase it.  He also checked my status to evaluate if I was qualified to finance the vehicle.  I was also impressed by how much he was willing to decrease the price to help the car be more affordable.  Honestly, I damn near signed the paperwork and drove off with the car then and there if I wasn't planning on stopping by other dealerships.  Bernard's admirable honesty and non pressure sales environment made my car shopping experience enjoyable. Thumbs up.

So I'm 22 and a 1st time buyer with no mommy&daddy to help me out. Needless to say I had absolutely no idea what to do. I have been shopping around for a used BMW for a few months now and I just happened to find a car here that I just HAD to check out.

When I got there I wasn't pounced on once I closed my car door like at all the other dealers I had been to previously. I actually walked up to the car I had my eye on, did a lap around it, took it all in, AND THEN I was approached by Bernard (perfect timing). Right off the bat you could tell he was a real, honest, no nonsense kind of person. He was very knowledgeable and happily answered all of my questions and before I knew it I was starting her up for a test drive!  After that I was SOLD, literally love at first sight! I just HAD to take her home! (mind you I had just come to "check it out" lol)

Bernard found a bank to finance me, helped me do all the paper work, took care of the dmv work, showed me the car fax, helped me add the car to my insurance, and gave me tips and advice on how to care and maintain my car.

Overall,** CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING** Bernard was EXTREMELY helpful through out the entire process. He made this whole thing fast&painless. I am so glad I found this place and met such an awesome dealer. Needless to say, I am one thoroughly satisfied customer. I truly don't think I could have found a better place to buy my very own first car. Yayy :)
