This is basically a used car dealership... they are lucky to have some good/helpful salespersons however as you move up the management chain, remember this place sells mostly used cars.  Do your homework before going.

Tony B at Bob Lewis Lincoln-Mercury was one of two very professional salespeople we encountered this weekend while trying to select and buy a car, and the only one at a Ford or Lincoln-Mercury dealership I'd go back to see.

Tony was low pressure but informative, showed he wanted our business, and was willing to go the extra mile to show he would meet my requirements.  He clearly understood there was only one type of vehicle I wanted to buy--the Mercury Mariner Hybrid--and he understood the financing option I wanted, and most important, he recognized I had clear boundaries to my requirements and didn't try to talk me into something I didn't want, either on the product side or the financing side.

Tony and the general manager on duty were very clear and accurate in all the information they gave me.  They didn't blow any smoke about my A-plan eligibility or try to get around the fixed price for the vehicle.

The only reason they don't get five stars was that we drove all the way there only to find that they could not in fact find the vehicle we wanted--they had lined up the Hybrid we wanted from another dealer but at the last minute found out it had been sold two days ago.

I don't really fault them for this--it's Ford's inventory system that seems to have a lag in updates of a couple of days or more--but we did get an awful long way into the process before they discovered the other dealer didn't know what he had on his lot.

It's a shame, because I would have liked to have bought the vehicle here.  If 0% financing comes back this year for the 2007 models, we'll be back to see Tony.
