Reviews on Bel Air Motors

My experience with this company at first was quite a favorable one until 2 years later when it came time to smog my car. (the first time being done by Bel Aire in order to sell the car), I was told I failed the inspection. The reason for the failure was because of my catalytic converter. It was working but it did not have a certain number stamped on the converter saying it was a California approved converter. Now I have to pay over $600 to get an approved converter in order to pass. According to the smog people this"law" came into effect in 2009 so all cars going through inspection since then must have this number on their converter. Mine did not and the prevailing question is "How Did It Pass Smog". There are too many places out there signing off on smog certificates so these car salesmen can unload these care as fast as possible to unsuspecting people only to have a major expense years later. Beware.
