So I bought a messed up car from Alum Rock Motors in San Jose... I'm fed up with them rather be car less than be treated like crap. After less than one week having this car it has a water pump and an oil leak. They   made me so upset to the point I was in tears at the price they were trying to charge to repair. It took them three weeks to fix and didn't even give me a loan car while it was at the dealership. I had to take buses & taxi to work and school. I came back with an oil burning smell from the engine it took the guy one hour to get off the phone to help and they told me to just let it go it's nothing. Then my car had an engine problem I called and they treated me awful. I was then stuck on the freeway with highway patrol kindly pushing me to safety. All I want is them to take this car back or fix it. But I guess that's not the answer god they don't help their customers at all. It's been less than three months having bought this car!

This place is a scam. Watch out and do not buy from them. They have no integrity or ethics. They will rip you off! They are being investigated for their involvement with illegal car practices. Beware.

Where do I begin?

I was in the market and happen to see a very nice, polished 2007 mustang V6. Car' had high mileage but was in very good condition, at least cosmetically. I noticed they had just replaced the water pump, timing belt and tires looked brand new, what could go wrong, right ?! So the usual salesmen-buyer back and fourth began, they promised a warranty, for one month on top of the warranty purchased. What a deal, the day I pick it up, the car won't start, I should have ran south after this but I stood behind the deal as Gilbert and his team assured me it was just because the door had been left open, they jump-start the car, and I'm on way. As I stop in to fill the stang up for the first time, my tank isn't even half way full and it rejects the gas pump. I had the gas hose cleared for 20 bucks no big whup, I try again and same problem, turns out the nozzle was slightly bent, $189.00 out the door, I bring it in to the dealership and I waited for about an hour to be told they're busy. So after wasting my time, I head to work. Later that night my car had died, AGAIN. I called Jobie and was told I would had to talk to Gilbert. On my way home my battery light turns on and the gauge begins to move up and down, not good, I barely make it home and the car shuts down half way home and needs to be towed the rest. The next day I head over to Alum rock motors, not even 2 weeks since I get the car yet they wanted me to pay the deductible! After a day of being fed bullshit from these guys, my car makes it to the shop, which I still had to pay the deductible for, turns out it was the alternator, ok, easy fix, I'm back on the road 2 days later. That same night, I decided to fill up my tank(gas guzzler), as I'm making a left turn the car shuts off on me, in the MIDDLE of a key intersection with traffic. Steering locked, abs kept blinking, until it completely lost power. This causes the oncoming driver to swerve around me and the car behind him to strike me. Due to the damage, I had no way of proving what was already broken and what was damaged during the accident.  I am grateful I was able to walk away, please stay away from this place if you value your life. All of this happens within the one month dealership warranty, and it's funny how on the last week of the warranty Gilbert and Jobie conveniently forwarded our calls until the warranty expired, as soon as it did guess who pleasantly decided to give me a call?

I haven't bought the car from them. But I found them curteous and I would buy the car when I am ready.
