Horrible service horrible car dealer. They have cheap trucks and will not stand behind their vehicles. They want all your information and qualify before you can drive a vehicle to see if it even runs right. Waste of time waste of value.they ever ties but don't tell you how many miles only tell you it runs great. Put it in reverse and the whole thing shock. Stay away from this place if you want to good deal

*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*

We were shopping for a Ford Expedition, and came across these guys selling an Expedition in our price range. We were sent from San Jose to "Honda Motor Sports"  at 37416 Joseph St. in Fremont to take a look at it. When we asked about the mileage, we were told 160,000. The first red flag was when we first showed up, the odometer was BLANK. After having pulled carfax and having carfax show us that the last reported mileage was 200,5xx back in March of 2012, we asked about it and they couldn't give us a straight answer!! Their smog cert was from Utah, there were no plates, tires were needing to be replaced soon, crack through the windshield, no paperwork, the spare key was at the guy's house, etc....  When we walked away from the "deal," the guy told my boyfriend that he wasted everyone's time and that they could get DOUBLE what they were asking for. I'm not sure what plant they're from, but you can NOT get over $6,000 for a 2000 Ford Expedition with over 200K miles on it. We were given a business card with "Honda Motor Sports" on it, but with THIS address listed on the business card. These guys are scammers. I've attached screen shots of the texts we received as we were driving back to San Jose. These guys are rude & unprofessional.

Place is horrible, avoid at all costs.  Waste of time and $.

They don't answer emails, phone calls are just as pointless as the guy who answers the phone, tells you what you need or don't need.  He will confirm that he has cars on the lot that actually don't exist, but are showing as in inventory on his website.  Won't send you a copy of the car fax report so you have to run one anyway.  When you do show up, good luck finding the front entrance.  I had to walk around the building twice and even call the guy.  Only reason I found it is because he opened the front door and left it open.

I called 880 motors the day before to confirm he had the truck in stock which he said he did.  I ran a car fax report that night and then drove in the next morning from Santa Cruz.  When I showed up I didn't see the car on the lot so I asked him where it was.  He went ahead and told me he didn't know what I was talking about and that maybe I had the wrong place. (Great way to start a business transaction buddy, insult the customer)  I gave him the stock number and said it was listed on his website which he then replied that the website hasn't worked in years?  I find this strange since he does have items listed on his website that are in stock.  Sounds like the guy is more lazy than anything and just wants you to come down in person.  After going back and forth for a bit I left to look at the other cars on the lot.  I come back 5 minutes later to the front desk and the place is closed and locked up.  I guess this place really wants to sell cars.  Be very careful, this place is about as slimy as dealership can get.  His cars look nice, but are far from it.  Some of the trucks tires are bald and have nails in them and he wants full price!

Waste of time, cost me 30 dollars plus gas to find out this guy is slime.

Skip this place.  Salesman not helpful and completely too lazy to answer basic questions or help with process of buying a vehicle.  Asked for $ to show commitment to buy a vehicle with 150k+ miles before a test drive.  Serious?

Totally worthless...

I was serious about buying a truck and went to 880 Motors to see if they could help.  What I got was a sales man behind the desk watching me walk the lot. When I went into the office and introduced myself he didn't even extend the energy or courtesy of his own introduction.  I explained what I wanted and he reluctantly moved to his desk and started up the computer. Didn't even explain he was going to check his inventory which we easily could have done walking the relatively small, but packed lot.

He didn't answer most of the questions I had like - can you tell me what specific checks are done when you bring the car on the lot? His response, "we make sure it is safe". When I probed for more specific details, he just blew me off and refused to give more information.  I am not an idiot. I may be a female but I know a good deal about trucks and I can change my own oil, brakes and tires. I have a good understanding about the details of truck mechanics and can hold my own conversing about it.

Despite what I felt was rude and insulting behavior, there was a truck I was honestly interested in. I asked for a test drive and he said I would have to put a payment down before he took the time to move the other trucks in order to get it off the lot.  This made me even more frustrated. When looking at a vehicle with more that 100K miles, having a sales man demand a down payment in order to test drive is ridiculous.

Then I asked about getting mechanical checks. He reluctantly said that was fine as long as I went to one specific shop of his choosing. I left a very, very unhappy potential customer.

The next day I bought a truck from a dealer who was respectful, transparent and provided professional, prompt service. I hope more people like me make 880 Motors  realize they can't treat potential customers this and stay in business.

At the end of the day, if you want a good experience buying a used truck, DO NOT go to 880 Motors.

This is where i bought my Gmc Denali Last year. The salesman Steve was very helpful and understanding. The price was very affordable and the truck has run perfect since i got it. I had made some improvements in the stereo and other stuff.
A great location right next to 880 and 280. Tons of street parking and Santana row and Valley fair are right close by.
They have a huge selection of trucks and you could not be happier.
Thank You Steve for the Great truck!

Just purchased a Ford f250 diesel truck from these guys. My wife and I had been looking at used trucks at several local dealers which was a terrible experience. I didn't think I could have a good experience buying a used truck until we found 880 Motors. At 880 Motors they have a huge selection of diesels compared to other places and they all seem to be in great shape. When we had found the perfect truck for us the steering was slightly loose but it was just what we were looking for. Steve said no problem that he would fix it and make it right. After we had purchased the truck I brought it back a few days later and Steve made sure the truck was fixed. He had spent over $600 dollars to make it right. I highly recommend this place good fair and honest people.
