Very positive experience. Car dealers were very relaxed, no sales pressure whatsoever. Paige took us out for a test drive and then went over some of the options.  Only annoyance was that we were not given an exact out-the-door price; only estimates.
Small showroom is located in the middle of UTC mall with 2.5 cars on display. Remember to call ahead to schedule a test drive.

Very cool store!! No pressure. Sales associates are super nice!! Look and play as much as you want. This is the best toy store for adults. I'll take three please.

I've walked by this place over a dozen times and never went in.

I remember back when I worked at Sony, the CEO getting a Tesla. Back then it was over $100k.  But it was bleeding edge as an 100% electric luxury vehicle.

Yesterday, on a whim, I asked my friend if they wanted to go in and they said yes! So we went in and sat in one.  To my surprise, the salespeople were very cool.  They showed us how to use the voice controls to have the car find the exact song we wanted by naming music and artist.  I held the button and said, "Lenny Kravitz,  "Are You Gonna Go My Way?" " and tada!  There was Lenny crooning the hit from my youth.  They even let us just play with the controls a little and 'dance' a little in the car.  No one looked at us funny or treated us weird. This was the nicest and least pressure car dealer experience I have ever felt.

And guess what?  I ended up looking up pricing and they're only like $70k  versus the $100K they used to be!  Now with an engine the size of a breadbox, two 'trunks' and no gas to worry about, Tesla is now even a consideration for me in the future.  This will be the step up from my Prius when I'm done with loving on my Prius.  Truth is, I think we will all be in electric and even self- driving vehicles within the next 20 years.

Anyhow, Tesla is fun, friendly, informative and environmentally friendly.  I'm officially a fan now.

We wandered into the storefront one weekend afternoon and were greeted by two different staff members. They answered our questions and encouraged us to get into and play with the one car they had on display. Everything from questions about how the display works to options and pricing was answered. We asked about a test drive and were informed that there was an online sign up process involved but after checking with the staff member who conducts the test drives we were informed that there'd been a cancellation, so we'd be able to do one after all. The sales associate who helped us with our test drive gave us a more extensive overview of the inner workings of the car  and let us zoom around the side streets by the mall. It was over all a very good and informative experience.

The staff seemed more interested in lunch than asnwering my questions. when I asked about my trade in, they turned white as a sheet. These kids should be at Apple selling iPhones. I'm going back to Porsche. Bad experience all around.

Today my family and I had the privilege of Test driving the model S 85p. Lauren, our tesla representative, guided us through the history and capabilities of the vehicle and then we took it out for a spin. Overall we were completely impressed. The engineers and designers have not forgotten any detail with this vehicle. From the way the car handles to the lifetime service guarantee, Tesla has though of everything. Lauren was a wealth of information and gave us a incredible experience. Everyone in my family highly recommends a test drive. After today it looks like we will be a tesla family sooner than we though.

Amazing store! I've been to a few different Tesla stores and this was by far my best experience. Our rep was knowledgable and friendly and answered all of our questions. I also got a chance to test drive the car and it is AMAZING. By far the fastest most fun car I've ever driven and I currently drive a G35 coupe, it has nothing on the Tesla.  Amazing experience. Thank you Nate!!

I was staying overnight in San Diego for business and just browsed through the dealership since it's walking distance. Even though I made it clear that I was just browsing, the beautiful young sales woman was extremely friendly and personable and showed me everything about the car and let me know that I was free to test drive one anytime.

I always thought Teslas sold for about $150k (and perhaps some models do) but the one on display was being sold for $70k. Still really pricey but on a different day, if I really really wanted to do it, I could get one.

I just appreciated that courtesy from her. I may be a promotion (or two) away from being that playful with my money but she did a great job of selling it to me . . . if I wanted to drop money I should be saving for something else.

Poor customer service experience....I am a current Tesla owner and was coming in to see if I could use the charger while I was in the mall shopping. Not only were we not acknowledged when we walked in and stood there for 5 minutes, I had to wait over 30 minutes to be able to charge up. I completely understand that they were talking with potential car buyers, but if it was going to be that big of a hassle I wouldn't have even attempted. I think you guys can do better. Just be honest with your customers. I love the car but I won't be coming back here....

Great customer service, very knowledgable staff and of course, a great product.

The service center is also a five star operation. They have been a pleasure to work with and are 100% on top of their game.

I could not be happier with how frictionless the process of test driving, ordering, delivery and service have been on my model s.  

This is how cars should be sold and serviced.  Other than Lexus and Porsche, very few dealerships provide real value to the ownership experience.  

Really a great company and team to interact with and the San Diego crew are all A players. Highly, highly recommended.

We were strolling thru the mall and stopped in to see theTesla for just a minute. We were not immediately greeted but, I bet most customers are just browsing anyway (not offended). When I asked the young beautiful sales lady some questions about the car, options available, price, and service availability, all my questions were answered! She took my husband and I over to a big touch screen TV and started showing me the answers I was looking for.

This car can be a 7 seater, with two additional rear facing seats for our kids and their friends! She said it will cost less than $500 a year to charge if we drive 10k miles per year at San Diego Kilowatt prices. I can charge the car free at my work, we have charging stations already!! The additional two seats in the back would only cost an additional $1500! Leather is an additional $1500. Not bad at all. I want this car!!

I am in the market to buy a car and I know what I want. If I go into your store you better believe that I expect to be greeted inside of 5 seconds. So Tesla employee on the phone and looking down, you failed. There was the opportunity to start making a perfect sale, I feel sad the company employee failed at this part of the job. I will save the sales associate his dignity by not naming names here but I remember your face mister DO BETTER. Every person in your store is a potential sale if not now then possible in the near future.

Second person I talked to seemed to have told a bold face lie. I asked for a female sales associate and was told she was out for a drive. She came from the back room 10 seconds later. Really?!?!  I will let you Yelpers decide what you will about that situation. Myself, well let me just say it felt really off.  

Were it not for the excellent Lauren I wouldn't purchase a car from this store... and as a matter of fact I think I will pass on this store. Too bad Lauren doesn't work else where. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because of her, period.
