Welcome to Porsche of San Diego! The number 1 dealership in San Diego county. We specialize in Porsche sales, service and genuine Porsche parts. Come stop by or call today!

Established in 2011.

Porsche of San Diego acquired the Pioneer Centers Porsche franchise in 2011. Although it purchased the business, it did not purchase any of the Pioneer Porsche's liabilities. Many Pioneer clients were promised free oil changes for the life of their warranty, and in some cases even longer. Porsche of San Diego extended itself to honor some of the promises made by the seller, Pioneer Porsche. We gave each Pioneer clients 2 free oil changes when applicable. This was a gesture of goodwill to all those that had been let down by the previous owners. In addition, we augmented our fleet of new Porsche loaner cars, (available to Pioneer and Porsche of San Diego new and pre-owned purchasers, free of charge when in for a warranty-able item), inspect each vehicle using the MPi system so the driver has a complete picture of the safety and performance of their Porsche (free of charge), we top off all the fluids (free of charge), and wash your car inside and out for free!

Reviews on Porsche of San Diego

mark t. | 2015-03-08

I had previously written a review based on the poor customer service.  The owner, Joe Allis, called me and he won back my business.  I appreciated that he contacted me and we went over the reasons for my dissatisfaction.  I went back and felt like the problems were remedied.  The service department did a beautiful job on my cars 100k service and detail.  I am once again a loyal patron.

Our experience with Porsche of San Diego began when my wife called in at the dealership a few weeks ago to express interest in a Cayman.

After a search of local inventory and upcoming shipments we identified an awesome GTS model that was en route to San Diego. After a couple of visits to go through the usual processes such as a test drive and price negotiation we're now just a couple of days away from picking the car up.

Most of the interaction was with Julian Aldaz who I always found to be polite, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and fair. I also want to call out Jeffrey Dodds who made the contract signing part really streamlined and helped to get an excellent rate for me.

A big thanks to you guys at Porsche and I can't wait to pick up the car on Tuesday!!!

Sam D. | 2015-02-24

This review update is a couple months late, but no matter. Shortly after writing about my experience with Porsche of San Diego, Joe Allis, owner and general manager, called me and tried to sort things out, which he did and am happy for. He cares about his business and I admire that. Just a few days ago, I got a call saying that my Cayenne would arrive in a few days, pushed up from the previous estimate of late March. Again, happy to hear. To keep this review from sounding like a narrative, Porsche of San Diego will try to make things right, even though there were a few stumbles along the way.

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Porsche of San Diego and had a great experience...

I inquired via the internet regarding the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. The sales consultant, Julian Aldaz, made the whole process as easy as possible for me (which I greatly appreciated!).

I made a deposit on the vehicle (as it was still en route to the dealership).

Julian got the paperwork in order before I arrived to pick up the vehicle (I drove down from Orange County). So, when I arrived, we just did a test drive, he showed me the cool options on the car, I signed the paperwork, and I was on the road back home again in no time. Jeffrey Dodds handled the financial portion of the paperwork and he was wonderful as well.

I love my car and the purchase experience.

William E. | 2015-01-21

Looks like everyone has already sang the praises of Julian Aldaz, but what the heck, I'll jump on board anyway. We recently purchased a 2015 Panamera GTS. Julian was my 1st contact upon calling the dealership and he was, and has continued to be great at his position as a Sales Associate.  As to the purchase and delivery, everything went smoothly and the timing was as promised.  Julian was there for every step, explaining things to my wife and I and really taking his time going over the car with us.  San Diego Porsche has done a great job of making everyone feel comfortable and seems very willing to work with their customer's special needs and requests. People like Julian Aldaz, their Sales Assistant Talena Handley and their Sales Manager Glenn Anderson have made our buying experience one to brag about. We can strongly recommend this dealership!!

I want to give a shout of huge THANKS to Les and the entire service team. Porsche of San Diego represented their customer's interest and convinced the Factory to honor a replacement item under warranty. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised that during a routine service visit, Les asked if I had noticed ANY issues with the car that should be reported before the warranty expired. I had and Porsche of San Diego took care of me. They saved me money and the car is perfect! Thanks Joe for assembling such a super team!!

Josh F. | 2014-11-22

Outstanding service, Keith was a huge pleasure to work with! I bought a preowned Ford F-150 they had on the lot and couldn't be happier. They beat my APR rate that I was able to get through my personal bank (which was already extremely low) and were willing to work with me on price. It really was a different experience than I was used than buying from other dealerships. Thanks to Keith I can gladly give this place a 5 star rating!

fire h. | 2014-11-17

The new owner Joe cares a lot about the customers' satisfaction.  I was able to get a free oil change when I brought in for annual service.  The sale rep was nice and friendly but she wasn't really on top of things.  They are under some remodeling and it definitely worth a visit  when it completes in December 2014.

Peter H. | 2014-11-15

I am completely impressed with the level of service and professionalism at San Diego Porsche.  I had my Cayman GTS detailed and the detailer noted a blemish on the side air intake trim.  Also my air bag light was on, so I made an appointment for this and a rattle.  Since I just had the car detailed and I was in the neighborhood, I stopped by to show the car to Daniel (my sales representative).   This was late Wednesday and was purely a social visit.  However, Daniel promptly took me and my car to service.  Chase, the service manager, without a formal appointment resent my air bag system and took the trim off the vehicle to have it repainted so that when I come in for my appointment on Friday it would be ready to reinstall.  Then on Friday, Chase went on a ride with me to isolate the rattle and when I came back to pick up my car, was professional enough to come out and discussed what was done and personally test drove the car to make sure the work was done properly.  I went out that night for a spirited ride and literally it was music to my ears without the rattling sound track.  The Cayman GTS speaks for itself but thus far I'm totally blown away with San Diego Porsche's sales down to the service.   This is not my first Porsche and definitely will not be my last.  San Diego Porsche has a true believer in me and I will highly recommend their sales and service to anyone.

Chris B. | 2014-11-07

This is a mixed review, but I'm going to keep it short and sweet. I am writing this review because Les in service department deserves credit for the great service he's given me. His care, customer service, and concern were fantastic in making sure I was helped with all my questions and potential trade in on my Cayenne. He deserves 5-Stars. The rest of their system is ok, and definitely not something I'd get excited about, especially when you look at the service offered at competitors like Mercedes. Even simple things take forever, and its hard to hide from a guy who's built cars (even my oil change and inspection took 2 full working days- I dropped it off with a scheduled appointment around noon, and it was ready in the afternoon on the 3rd day, which is pretty sad when there are so many places that offer the same service in 30 minutes).

Osito S. | 2014-11-03

I seriously cannot heap enough praise on the crew at Porsche San Diego and especially my service consultant, Ryan Breshears. He is the epitome of customer service. Gets my service down in the time estimated and calls me if they need more time, he arranges for a loaner car without any hassle, fits me in last minute to get an airbag light error checked and cleared and just recently, got me in right away when my rear tire apparently drove through a bed of nails and had a severe leak near the sidewall. And on top of that, I had little or no gas left in my tank when the tow truck dropped her off to Ryan and before giving me the car back, what does he do? He checks to see if I would like to have his guys go fill up my gas tank so that's one less thing I have to do -- and he charges me what they charged him at the pump. I never met Ryan before I brought my current and previous Porsches to see him, and in this past week where one thing after another has happened to my car -- aka Murphy's Law -- Ryan has continuously made stressful situations complete breezes. I would recommend Porsche San Diego without any hesitation and would absolutely recommend Ryan Breshears as a Service Consultant!!! Thanks Ryan and the whole crew at Porsche SD!!

Five Stars to Keith Hicks, Certified Brand Ambassador, at Porsche of San Diego.
He is a very knowledgeable guy, and I would not hesitate to do business with him

Victor C. | 2014-10-15

I haven't purchased a vehicle yet but hope the right deal comes together at this dealership. I pulled in and was promptly greeted by three well dressed gentlemen who quickly answered my questions and introduced me to Keith Hicks. Keith without hesitation showed me all the details on two prospective pre-owned vehicles and gave full disclosure without prompting. I was treated with respect and without pressure and this is the way I like to do business. E-mail correspondence was effective and professional. I recommend this dealership highly and Keith Hicks specifically based on my recent experience.

Charlie P. | 2014-09-24

From the reviews it's a great place to buy a car.

In the event you need warranty work and are a Porsche enthusiast you will run into problems with warrant work denials.

With modifications of tires (DOT approved) and replaced shocks they denied warranty fix when the rear axle fell out of the transaxle even though they could not explain how the modifications contributed to the failure.  Way to stand behind the product and the consumer.  I have had a Boxster bought new with a major engine failure and other quality issues with my '12  911 and '10 Cayman S.

Great cars to take to a restaurant on a Saturday night but not the car if you like to participate in track events.  Porsche built for the track - just don't go there.  San Diego Porsche doesn't even try to help the consumer.

Long V. | 2014-09-19

I wanted  to thank Marcy at porsche service dept for dealing with my hectic schedule and fitting me in for service for my porsche convertible top. The  prices are incredible and the porsche loaner is truly helpful.  Thanks again for your fantastic service
and your extensive knowledge answering all my questions. For a new owner I feel welcomed and appreciated at your amazing dealership. I will definitely recommend this dealership to all my friends and family.

Greg F. | 2014-09-16

Marcy thought outside the box to accommodate my particular needs regarding my cars service . A rare quality in today's environment but one very much appreciated

Ryan S. | 2014-09-15

Rude unprofessional sales staff.  Salesman hung up on me when I told him I bought from Hoehn Porsche instead.  I bought from Hoehn because the salesman I spoke to at SD Porsche was not very helpful.  If you throw your cash at them, I'm sure SD Porsche stays friendly to you.

Gregory P. | 2014-08-30

Just bought the car of my dreams. Have wanted a Porsche for decades, and finally decided if not now, when? Found the perfect match after looking for more than a month, and salesman Keith Hicks worked out a great deal. Keith was perfect with no high powered tactics or pressure. Could not have asked for a better experience.

So if looking for a Porsche at a fair price, and no pressure, check out Porsche of San Diego, and Keith Hicks. Dreams do come true.

Allen Y. | 2014-08-29

Great people and great service! Went there and sold my car for a good price! They will offer you a pretty good price no matter you are buying or selling your Porsche! Highly recommended!

D M. | 2014-08-19

We recently purchased a Certified Porsche and couldn't be happier with both the vehicle and our salesperson, Julian Aldaz. We bought it sight unseen after  checking Autotrader and cars.com for almost two months to find the one we really wanted.

We narrowed or search down to two vehicles and ended up buying from Julian due to his responsiveness and help. He made us feel very comfortable and even arranged for a FaceTime "test drive" which sealed the deal.  We ran into a few hiccups with the transport company but Julian diligently worked with the agent to move things along without evading us in the process. The transporter was excellent and we were surprised at how new our vehicle looked upon delivery.  We couldn't even tell it had ever been driven and it has 50,000 miles on the clock.

We noticed that a small item was missing and Julian jumped on it right away and helped us when he was on a break during maneuvers (yes, serving our Country) at the base. He followed up to make sure the item was delivered by FedEx

We are 100% satisfied with Julian Aldaz, Porsche of San Diego and our fantastic Certified Porsche!

Toney D. | 2014-08-14

Ask to speak to Julian Aldaz, their Internet Sales consultant, if you see a car on their website or even autotrader.com like I did. We live in Los Angeles, and after a lengthy search for a 2014 Cayenne we found one unfortunately 2hrs away in San Diego but it was well worth the trip! Julian approved me over the phone on Thursday night in minutes then drove down on Saturday morning to sign the deal. Lastly, their finance dept. manager was a Rockstar, within an 1hr all papers was signed, with a extremely low fiance rate, also threw in some car accessories as a bonus. I ask if he could throw in a White '14 Panamera for my GF, he declined.. Should've had her asked, instead-oh well?? We LOVE the SUV, thanks guys see you in few years...

Matthew D. | 2014-08-09

Update... After submitting a review about not being greeted by a salesperson, I received a very polite response from the owner and GM of the dealership who assured me that the dealership is rather busy and I was not being singled out for any reason at all. That is a great thing to know. I appreciate his response greatly and will go back to the dealership and give them another chance.

Tobin W. | 2014-07-28

While in town from LA my 2013 911s presented a warning light for a cooling system error and although the dealership had a backlog of scheduled appointments through the following week Marcy was able to work it out so I could bring my car in to ensure that no immediate action was needed. Upon further review they quickly identified the problem and fixed it while I waited. The customer service and knowledge of the staff at the service department was top notch and their ability to accommodate my request on short notice saved me from a potentially bad situation. Highly recommended!

Andy G. | 2014-07-27

Pros: extraordinary quality of service
Cons: none

Each time I have taken my Cayenne GTS to Porsche of San Diego, I continue to be impressed by how customer focused they are.  The entire experience of interacting with the dealership is simply best-in-class.

Their customer facing team is consistently on-top of their game.  I have found them to be extremely competent, accommodating, and superb at communicating problem diagnosis, repair status and time-line.

Moreover, I have found Porsche of San Diego's service department to be the most technically knowledgeable in the area - yes I have tried the other Porsche dealership and do speak from first-hand experience.  The technical team at Porsche of San Diego is far more thorough in their approach to diagnosis of an issue (better outcomes), and clearly have invested in a better calibre of trained repair and service specialists.

This is a first-class operation that is managed by a very competent team that has a winning long-term objective of delivering excellence to their customers.  They truly care and bring great value to both the purchase and service experience.

Highly recommended.

Tiger X. | 2014-07-26

We had excellent experience at Porsche of San Diego with Julie. The whole process from first visit to pickup of our new car is very smooth. She followed up with us throughout the process.  The visit to the finance guy is also painless and joyful.

tintin H. | 2014-07-10

I first took my Cayman to Porsche of SD for service back in March 2014 and met my service advisor Ryan Breshears.  I've been very happy and am glad I took my car there.  The showroom, although relatively smaller than other Porsche showrooms, is very contemporary, beautiful, well displayed, and the staff is courteous.  Ryan Breshears is very knowledgeable, friendly, polite yet not too formal to have a fun conversation with, and last but not least: he's honest.  He tells me only what type of service/repair my car needs and doesn't "create" any other un-necessary repair/service to make a sale for the dealer.  My last service with him in June '14 was great as always, and I think he and his team learned and solved the mechanical issue for my car.  Thank you Ryan and his team at Porsche of SD.  If you the readers ever sit on the fence and wonder which Porsche dealer is the one for your porche repair & service, it's Porsche of SD.  But, don't just take my words for it, go and experience for yourselves.

Dave B. | 2014-07-07

I like this place.  They don't kiss your ass and give you the super over the top treatment.  But they also don't over-promise and under-deliver.

I bought a car from these guys and they followed through on everything they promised they would.  Service department did a good job getting my car ready a and taking care of my punch-list items.

I will be back for service and for future purchases.

Geoffrey S. | 2014-06-29

Les Lisenbee personified customer service from the first call from the tow truck to his follow-up following completion. Replacing the clutch on a Carrera GT is horrifically expensive (no fault of Posche San Diego) but he made the experience a positive one with consistent updates, active listening and follow-up. Thank you, Les

Scot G. | 2014-06-27

Porsche of San Diego treated me like a King. I was part of the GT3 recall and they took care of me like no other. I won't have my car touched by any other dealer.

Vishnu P. | 2014-06-10

As someone who absolutely dreads dealing with car salesmen, I must say, I had a surprisingly great time purchasing my car from Julian Aldaz at San Diego Porsche. He was very down to earth, honest and went out of his way to make us feel at home and comfortable with entire process of purchasing a car. He even got us a pretty good deal on our car. If you are planning on buying a Porsche, I'd highly recommend working with Julian.

William D. | 2014-06-02

I have been going to Porsche of San Diego since 2008 and they have taken care of my every need every time. There have been a few bumps here and there as is normal with every business. However, when addressed, they have listened and made sure I was satisfied with the steps taken.

What makes them a five-star is their front-line and how they deal with me and my needs. They are very open to my needs whether it's the temporary car needed while they service mine to the time I have available to pick it up. Top notch service and I will continue to take my car to them as I feel confident and secure after they have fixed or done maintenance work on my car. That's the result I am looking for.

Lloyd F. | 2014-06-01

Porsche of San Diego is a first class operation. At every step of the way, the staff is professional, courteous and helpful.

Master sales consultant Christopher Huck, a Porsche owner and enthusiast himself, is particularly knowledgeable and we can't recommend him highly enough. He's a true consultant who knows the product line and what it takes to satisfy the customer. He provides the highest level of service from test drives to answering any and every question you may have about the car lineup.

If you're looking for a Porsche, used or new, give Chris and Porsche of San Diego a call. You won't regret it.

Karmen P. | 2014-05-28

I've never had a  bad experience with Porsche of SD.  I normally deal with Les when bringing in my car for maintenance and he has always provided  superb customer service and knowledge.  My Spyder is always well taken care of giving me peace of mind knowing "she's"  in good hands.  You will receive the V.I.P treatment  at this location.  Guaranteed!  :-)

Aaron A. | 2014-05-23

Great experience very professional, what else could be expected from a Porsche dealership. I traveled 6 hours to purchase a car from this auto dealer was not disappointed. Chris took good care of me.

Bindu N. | 2014-05-11

I had a bad experience with Porsche of Dallas. So I went online and found the car I wanted.
Julian Aldaz was wonderful. He called me within 10 minutes of receiving my email. Walked me through the process. Took pics and videos.
I flew into San Diego  and the company was very hospitable. Even offered to buy me lunch how awesome is that.
I test drove the car finished up the paperwork and they helped take care of all the details.
Oh and the car was exactly as described on the website.
For the first time I felt like I didn't get screwed by a dealership.
I will definitely buy from them again. :)

K R. | 2014-05-06

This was my first time using Porsche of SD for service. Took my Cayman R in for some type of high pitch noise after only 7k miles and the dealership identified the faulty part to be the water pump. Luckily it was under the warranty and it took a couple of days to replace it. No issues after the replacement and I don't hear the noise anymore. They also performed a safety check and adjusted the engine oil level (which wasn't covered under the warranty). The oil change was done at an independent shop.

The service adviser, Les Lisenbee was helpful and answered my follow up questions promptly. He set me up with a rental since they had no loaners available at the time. A Porsche loaner would have been more desirable but the enterprise rental was sufficient.

Frank F. | 2014-04-30

Joe Allis has built an outstanding team to serve the Porsche enthusiasts. The new operation and sales team is a night and day different from the Pioneer Porsche.

My sales professional Keith Hicks was extremely knowledgable and cordial. I strongly recommend Keith.

serina c. | 2014-04-29

The only place I take my car to get worked on. Prices are slightly higher than other places but you get what you pay for, plus they give you a loaner. They are the nicest here and I have always had my car problems resolved in a quickly manner

Andrew L. | 2014-04-18

My car's battery died, so I brought it to Porsche dealer. Service was okay and they car seem to be working once they were done servicing it. However, when I picked up my car, my iPod for the car was missing. I asked the service manager where it went and they said they would ask the mechanic. Never heard back from them. I called again asking if they found it, and no one got back to me. I did get a letter saying they were sorry. Still no iPod though.

Angry P. | 2014-02-18

Very professional and kind. Even though, I am locked-in for a lease. The Sales Rep, Michael did a phenomenal job explaining to me, what is a Porsche and what is a rear engine and a center engine. Even though, I was not interested in purchasing a Porsche he was very kind and professional.

The Suss S. | 2014-02-11

The people in service at Porsche San Diego have been great at taking care of my 2007 997 turbo and a variety of issues that were all covered by my CPO warranty. Service advisors are very knowledgable, the dealership is run with a high degree of professionalism, and my car has always been handed back to me with problems solved and full accounting of the work performed. Ryan and Tommy in the service department have taken great care to make sure I was in and out with minimal waiting and were always readily available by phone or e-mail to answer questions while my car was at the dealership waiting for parts. Tommy also hashed out some CPO issues for me and also took care of communicating with my insurance company when I filed a claim for a cracked windshield replacement.

As far as some of the other Yelp reviewers go, I'd rather focus on the important stuff like the fact that they fix my car properly with no excuses or BS. Why stress about what loaner car you get or whether the complimentary car wash was perfect? A free loaner car is FREE so chill out and enjoy it - and if you want your car professionally detailed then there are plenty of businesses on Yelp to do that for you too. When you go to Porsche of San Diego, they got the important things right: keep the appointment, take care of your repair, and level with you about what's going on along the way. 'Nuff said.

Rhodel D. | 2014-01-08

Porsche of San Diego gets five stars!
Have been a Mercedes fan since my 1974 280c. My wife's S550 had now been replaced by a newer model and it was time for a change.
We put in a full solar electric system over the summer and were certain the Tesla S would be her next car...Until we found out about the Porsche Panamera S e-hybrid.
Though it did not make it out of the san diego port in time for a Christmas delivery, it did arrive before the end of 2013. It did not disappoint; the car is full electric for 25-30 miles (90%) of her driving, charges on the provided level 2 charger in 2.5 hours, and gets 46-49 mpg in hybrid mode for longer trips with no range anxiety.

Enough about the car, Julian Aldaz was my point of contact for the purchase. He was professional, knowledgeable, and most-importantly nice!  Jeff in finance was exceptional as well, he made the deal very easy, did not push alot of extras, and really helped in choosing the right options for the extras we did want.

Talena in parts also great to deal with as we wanted a few knick knacks as well.

If you want a Porsche (and I can now vouch for the quality and engineering first hand),  i can highly recommend Julian, Jeff, and Talena at Porsche of San Diego.

Jimmy H. | 2013-11-25

My second review of this place.  Writing in the Enterprise Rent a Car...more on this in a bit.  After my first review, owner touted 30 Porsche loaners.   I was excited to get one, maybe a Boxster since I may be in the market for one to replace my old Boxster.  Guess what, no Boxster.   In fact no Porsche at all.  Instead I was told to walk to Enterprise to pick up my loaner.  Wtf is this a Kia dealership??  Its too bad Hoehn is so far away.

Pros: free coffee and muffins and Ray the service pro is a good guy.

Ken T. | 2013-11-15

I requested some support from Samantha Razoky that was out of the ordinary. I wanted a copy of a specific Porsche 911 50 year anniversary ad to frame as a present for a friend. She went out of her way to contact the correct people, get the appropriate clearances and have the copy shipped to me. Outstanding service and a satisfying experience, she is special, thanks!!

Randy W. | 2013-10-28

Porsche of San Diego is about 75 miles or so from where I work and live, but it's definitely worth the drive from Orange County, CA.

Eric Simila, Jeffrey Dodds, and Brenton Danieli were each fantastic to work with.  First and foremost, they were each friendly, efficient, professional, and definitely well versed in providing a top notch customer service experience.  Most importantly, they showed concern and understanding of the car enthusiast perspective, and made sure that all our questions were answered and needs addressed.

Eric Simila was my primary sales person, but when he was unavailable during a visit, Chris Huck helped with my order.  Definitely a team atmosphere with the two Porsches I have purchased from this dealership, I have been able to meet several of the staff, and all have been helpful.  Team work is not often the norm for a luxury / performance car dealership, so it was a refreshing change.

This led to a first class purchasing and ordering experience, and was the icing on the cake so to speak, and we are proud to have created a wonderful build to order 2014 Cayenne GTS, which is undoubtedly one of the best vehicles we have ever experienced.

Shelby H. | 2013-09-12

I called looking for a qualified smog station for my Boxster. Stephanie was very polite and had a referral on the spot. I called back for another smog station that could meet my time constraint, Stephanie had Larry in service call me back in under 5 minutes. Larry took my location and info, made a few calls, then called me back again with a qualified smog station in less than 5 minutes. Now that is the kind of service that warrants repeat business! Thank you Larry and Stephanie for going the extra mile.

Vikkostya V. | 2013-09-03

My second review. Went for a service the second time here. First time I had to walk to the enterprise rent a car. Was taken to a Balboa location where i Sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 30 mins at the end to get a "smart car" looking car. I missed my meeting because of that. I told the rep that this was very unfortunate. I didn't do their service rating and gave them a second chance. They told me they would take care of me next time.
Well today, they were sending me to enterprise again. I told them that I can't afford to waste time as I did last time and that they promised to take care of me on the next visit. Unfortunately, they didn't do anything about it but to offer this "Meh" service.

Two stars for "Meh, I've experienced better" and off to another location.

Service personnel is great. Very attentive and helpful. They have a nice accessories store which helps kill time during a visit.

After the purchase and servicing by the prior owner of Porsche of SanDiego I was amazed by the lack of response form this owner ship..Took my BoxterS in for Service July 11th...and Oil change and brake fluid change, when I returned home from picking up my car   I noticed the whole car was covered with some sort of overspray, looked kind of like tire shine...and hundreds of water spots like the car had been washed but not dried and left in the sun. Also some type of solution was left of the chrome wheels that had dulled the finish and I had to re polish them, from the Service manager:I will address it with the team,my response to them:

#1 I have purchased three new Porsche's from the prior owner of your dealership and have been informed my Lifetime Oil Changes will not be honored by the new owners.

#2 Looking over my latest service sheet it was noted that my car did not have the Proper Porsche Tires (Obviously no one bothered to check) as they all have the proper codes and were purchased from Discount tire who's owner works with our club.

#3 Speaking of tires, when I had driven the car a few times after service I found the car to be a little squirrelly and checked the tires, all over inflated and the front tires were of different pressure by two 1/2 pounds.

#4 On the Service sheet it lists the 6 speed manual transmission in the car with (automatic transmission fluid )

#5 Says my passenger window gear is broken , noisy and has failed. ( In fact it works fine and in the 13 years since I  purchased this vehicle the window had probably been opened less that 100 times.

#6 I sent a request to your parts department inquiring the cost of the driver side arm rest / compartment cover, Instead of replying I get and e-mail from a service writer ( The cost of the part is $151.63 plus tax and the labor to install it is $222.00) asking if I want it ordered.

When I explained I thought the installation price was outrageous since it's a ten minute change (which by the way I preformed).  I called another Porsche Dealership and purchased the same item for 99% less than your cost @$78.00 before tax.

(the fix) Just lift the door bin cover, and you will see a front and rear hinge. Use a paper clip and just push out the plastic rods in the hinges and pull them out with a needle nosed pliers. On the rear hinge, there's a spring. Remove this first before pulling off the door bin cover. That's it.

#7 brought the Boxster S in for oil and brake fluid change yet the odometer had eight additional miles, where did it go for the oil ?

They're response:
from the owner; Service manager  is a very capable professional. I'm confident in his decisions and execution. I wish we could make everyone happy, but as you know, it doesn't always happen.

Christopher Huck is probably one of the most knowledgable porsche salespersons I have ever encountered. Not only is he up on all of the technology of the current cars he also understands the various differences over the course of the previous models all the way back to the 356s.  They are a no hassle dealership and we have purchased three cars from them without falter.  If they don't have the car you are looking for they will search the entire country to find it.  I cannot more highly recommend a automobile dealership than porsche san diego.  All of the sales peoples are great as well as the management.  We have been purchasing cars here since they were pioneer porsche and their reputation as far as I am concerned has only gotten better.  We also service all of our modern porsches here with outstanding results.  They are always up front with the costs and will work with us when there is a bigger issue to deal with.  For those with Carrera GT's their lead service tech is trained and fully understands these supercars as well...not many dealers/techs can work on these cars.

I recently picked up a new 911 from Porsche of San Diego that I had ordered 3 months ago. James Gonzales was my sales advisor from the outset. I can't say enough good things about James and his sales team at this dealership. He provided a no-hassle, no-pressure experience throughout. James is extremely low key and very easy to deal with, but extremely knowledgable and professional. They are also among the most aggressive dealers for price discounts in So-Cal. I highly recommend this dealership for anyone in San Diego or Southern California.

I had the chance to visit Porsche of San Diego recently. Great place, beautiful cars. The sales rep Julie Aquilino was very professional & knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable! I'll be moving to SD soon and when I'm ready I will def buy from her! People, don't hesitate!

I have been a Porsche of San Diego customer for almost 3 years now. I have no idea why I never wrote a review about them sooner! I purchased my vehicle from here and also service it with them as well.
Starting with my sales experience, my salesman Justin was such a pleasure to deal with. There was no games like you would typically get at a car dealership. We even did numbers over the phone and in an hour I came to fill out paperwork and the car was cleaned and ready to go. Keep in mind, this was my first time actually buying a vehicle, but the second Porsche purchased from Justin in my family.
Now for service, I have pretty much visited all 4 service advisors and they have been nothing short of great! They are prompt, honest, and concise about my cars needs. Their prices are very fair. I also love the fact that I get to drive a Porsche when I turn my Porsche in! Apparently, that isn't a common practice amongst other Porsche dealers. So lucky me that my local one actually gives me a fair trade when my baby is getting serviced. :)
In conclusion, I am fortunate enough to have a wonderful car and also have a fabulous dealership my vehicle can call home! Hopefully when I give up my car, it will be to only to replace it with another Porsche. I'm hooked.

Was in the market for a big-daddy luxury car and had picked out a nice A8L at Audi of Mission Viejo. A buddy recommended, before pulling the trigger on the Audi, that I head down to Newport to test drive the Porsche Panamera and off I went. Two mins into the test drive and I was sold. The A8 is a very nice car but I wanted a well built, somewhat racy car for me that didn't leave leave me relegated to chauffeur status.

Outstanding vehicle that seats four, (the Audi had the executive rear seating package that also only seated four), and drove like a dream. Anyway, didn't care for the snobbiness and indifference of the sales peeps in Newport so I called up Porsche of San Diego. Justin was the salesman and asked me to come on down and see the several models they had on the lot.

Its quite a hike from my home to the dealership but he assured me it would be worth my while. Found a nice black 2012 model with very low miles on it and priced nicely. Drove it and after a short negotiation session, the car was mine. During our negotiations, Justin pointed out their "concierge" service that will come get your car, (yes even as far away as my house in the OC), and drop off an equivalent or better vehicle for you to use while yours is being serviced. Haven't found any other dealer that offer this fine service and have already taken advantage of it getting a Hybrid Panamera S to tool around town in.

Angela in finance was extremely pleasant as well and did a superb job. Highly recommend these guys and am certainly glad i made the trip down there.

I have to tell anyone looking for a Porsche that Porsche of SD is great. My sales representative (Daniel Lewis) was excellent. He told us all the benefits of the Cayenne in an informative way without "selling" us with pressure. Test driving was easy and impressive. He was always helpful even when we looked at other cars. He even went out of his way to search outside financing when it was needed. Go to Porsche SD and ask for Daniel Lewis. He will help you!

Ray the service guy here is very responsive.  I'd recommend.

I have had my vehicle serviced there twice. It took a little longer than expected to get it done the second time but who knows what parts were needed and how long they took to get to the dealership. The President and General Manager Joe called me after my service to see how things went which is a good indication that they care about serving their customers.

I have been searching for a high end sports car for nearly 6 months. I've been to mercedes several times and everytime i went I was met with arrogance and we know this deal is good for you even though I told you I wouldn't pay that. Just not a fun experience. Finally I started talking with my friends who both have porsches and they said you should just get a Boxster.

I started looking around and found one I liked at Porsche of San Diego. I started working with Sara Shively and she was amazingly nice, quick to provide requested info, and willing to work to get a deal done. Admittadly I'm a difficult buyer (she called me a 10!), but she worked hard and we were able to make a deal on boxster S.

I drove down with my friend to pick up the car, and they instantly greeted us, brought us water and were very friendly. This was a lovely experience compared to the mercedes dealers from before. Sara walked me through all the paperwork, and patiently waited for everything to close even though it was her off day and she could have easily turned it over to one of her collegues.

All and all they were wonderful and if you need a porsche look up Sara!

I was embarking on a journey to purchase my first high-end sports car. This brought me to a few area dealers that had cars that might meet my specific requirements.  While I didn't end up purchasing a Porsche, it was through no fault of this dealer or salesman.  My experience was so positive that I needed to write this review.

The entire staff seemed to support each other and the satisfaction of the potential customer. But, the salesman, James Gonzales was outstanding.  He not only was extremely knowledgeable about Porsches, but also most other cars. His "I actually care" attitude was undeniable and refreshing. He accommodated my every request with friendly professionalism. The only reason i didn't award them 5 stars was because i didn't go thrrough the entire purchase process for a complete analysis.  Looking for a Porsche, ask for Jim.  He is absolutely outstanding!
