I was in the market for a used truck and went to Miramar Trucks.  I was very happy with the two  trucks I bought from them several years ago and wanted to buy a third. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for and I needed a truck right away.  But I wanted to share that it was nice dealing with Dave and Brad again (the sales guys). They know their trucks and will work a deal with you. I'm still impressed with how clean they get their used trucks...and from experience, the trucks I've purchased from them have been great!

We bought a 08 Toyota Tundra from Miramar trucks and were very really happy with our decision. Dave was the manager that helped us, he didnt rush us to buy anything, he let my husband test drive 4 or 5 trucks to see which one that my husband wants. He was very patient and very good at customer service. He showed us every CarFax of the truck we test drive. So we decided go with the Tundra V6, got a good price for it and a good rate also. The whole paperwork process thing is only take us 30 mins, not like other big dealer always make us wait, try to make it hard so we think its worth it but its not !.. We'll buy another truck next year and i'll come back here to buy my next truck. Dave is a honest guy, good customer services and very friendly. I would recommend everyone i know that need to buy trucks to come to Miramar Trucks =)

I agree with the others that the sales people at Miramar Trucks are not your typical used car salesmen.  Brad was friendly but left us on our own to inspect trucks for almost two hours.  He was very patient while we were trying to decide if a certain truck was the right one for us.  When we pointed out some cosmetic "issues," he told us that it had literally just come off the truck and agreed that those things needed to be and WOULD be taken care of.  We spent two days thinking about it, went to look at it again, found more things we'd like taken care of (missing covers for the little storage compartments in the bed of the Tacoma), and he was completely ageeable about replacing them.  It seemed obvious that once the dealership's owner sets the price, there is no negotiation money-wise.  But Brad was ready to make us happy.  And never tried to SELL or make promises he couldn't keep.  This is our second Tacoma from MT.  We'll shop at Miramar Trucks again (in about 240,000 miles)!   BTW, the truck looked like new when we picked it up.  Very happy!

Looking for my 4th Toyota truck took me to Miramar Trucks, who just happen to specialize in Toyota's. I have had two later model Toyota's one that I sold for a great price that had 248K on it and still ran like a champ. I had a 2006 4 door Tacoma that I loved, but Just as a lot of others out there, we ran into some hard times and I was forced to sell it. I got into a Dodge Caliber... yeah I know, and I was less then pleased. Times got a little better and I found myself looking for another Tacoma, a very specific Tacoma. I wanted a 2006-2008 silver, four door, TRD Off Road Tacoma, just the one I sold. After searching from San Fran to Phoenix I found 5, and only three I wanted to look at. One in Corona, one in Ontario and one In San Diego. I thought the drive to San Diego would be nicer than that out to the 909. So we called to ask if the truck was still available, as you never know with some funky dealerships out there. I spoke with Brad, who turned out to be my salesman. We filled out the online credit application and we were approved the next morning planning, now our drive down south from the O.C where we live. We got to Miramar Trucks and after a brief walk around Brad handed us the keys and told us to take it for a spin, no hurry he said, take your time and see what you think. So my wife and I hoped in the truck and off we went. We pulled over and went through all the lights, buttons, fluids, air filter, glove box, storage compartments... all looked and worked perfectly. There was a sticker in the window with most recent oil change, turns out they also give you one free oil change from the same place after you purchase a vehicle from them. So we bought the truck,  tank of gas, fresh oil change, clean air filter and near mint truck. Brad was a pleasure to deal with and took time with us and he answered all of our questions, even got the CarFax. We were even able to fit a 50K extended warranty into our payment that was below our payment comfort zone. Bottom-line is that Brad and Miramar Trucks took care of us and we super satisfied with our purchase... Go see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.... Ask for Brad, you will glad you did!

My wife and I were in the market to get an SUV to upgrade from my Tacoma.  I had done my research regarding what type of SUV we wanted and chose a Toyota 4Runner.  I had been scouring the Auto Trader searching for a decent one with low miles and good price.  We had found multiple 4Runners at Miramar Trucks and decided to check them out.  

Miramar Trucks is your typical used car lot however they only sell Toyota Trucks and SUVs.  They had most of the 4Runners we had seen online.  We spoke with Dave and he had said they sold two of the 4Runners in the last couple of days.  However, the specific one we were looking for was still there.

I'm not sure what the other reviews were talking about, but Dave was able to answer all of our questions.  I had done most of the research on the vehicles prior to coming into the used car lot so we didn't have many to begin with.

Side note: if you are looking at buying a new or used car, do your research on the model/s you are looking for.  Don't go in expecting the salesperson to be able to answer all of your questions, especially at a used car dealership.  They handle way to many different cars to know everything about all the cars they sell.  DO YOUR RESEARCH!

Back to the review, Dave asked us if we wanted to test drive any vehicles, and of course we did.  He took a copy of my DL, directed us in the direction of the freeway and said see you in a little bit.  I was nice not having a sales person ride with us directing us on a set course.  We took the 4Runner out and came back about 20-25 mins later.  Dave asked us the how we like it and if there was any other one we would like to test drive.  We took another one with a V8 on the same route for the same time.

When we got back Dave asked us again how we liked it and if there was any others we would like to test drive.  Not once did Dave try to "Sell" us the vehicle.  He gave us a chance to talk it over, answer any questions and make our own decisions about buying the 4Runner.

We decided on the second 4Runner and informed Dave there was a couple of things we noticed weren't working correctly.  He said no problem and had them fixed prior to us signing any papers at no extra charge.  

We came back a couple of days later, with everything fixed, and signed the paperwork.  Which took all of 15mins.

If we were in the market for another vehicle, I would not hesitate to go back to Miramar Trucks

INCOMPETENT SALES PEOPLE don't waste your time!

So my mom was looking for a used Highlander last month.  Why?  Well after 10 months without my car since my mom was "borrowing" it I was ready to get my car back and get her her own wheels.

I was looking on auto trader and found a 2005 Toyota Highlander in really good shape.  I called their number and they told me to do an online credit application to see if I qualified.  Got a call in a few hours and was told to come down to test drive the car, as they got my approval by the bank same day. Sweet.  But would it be this easy to get the car off the lot?  Please, please please....

Didn't go until the next day (during one of those crazy rainy days), met up with the salesman.  He was very courteous, and offered up the keys to the car.  "Take your time. go on the freeway, get a good feel for the car" was pretty much what he said.  We took the car for a spin for 20-25 minutes, in which I opened every thing that could be opened and turned on everything with an on/off switch.  Besides a small stain, it was as good condition as you would expect a used car.

Overall, service was excellent, the price was under KBB and the hassle of loan documents was minimal.  If I were looking for a used Toyota, i would definitely check their inventory and gives these guys another opportunity to get my business.  Thank you!
