Ok here's the deal . I had ! a 99 XJ8L smelled like old people my wife says i woke up saying it time for a new ride , looked up the new XF way out of my budget called Josh he is sales men found a 2009 XF Supercharged V8 fits ME lol Josh and Finance got me into it, YA there a few issues but its automotive we dealing with dream cars here .
They went way over my expectations and trust me there hi . i own a import auto repair shop .

I have been taking my car to San Diego European since they opened, I think around 2011.  They take care of my car even though it's not as new and shiny as it once was - they treat it like it's as important as the newer cars.

When I pick my car up it's washed and vacuumed (awesomeness!) and looks like they took great care of it.

I used to go to the old dealership when it was on the 163 before it moved to the current location.  The head service advisor, David, was my advisor at the old location and is at the new location. I trust him, which is a big thing when it comes to your car. Someone on Yelp said he was "snarky" but it sounds like they misinterpreted "knowledgable". David knows a ridiculous amount about Jaguars!  He pretty much is like a Jaguar Doctor.  (He has a wall full of plaques from Jaguar that look like a bunch of diplomas.)

Just got a coolant leak fixed and my baby's running like a top! :-)

The lot to look at few different colors on the model they had available
We asked for some cold water and said that we'll meet him outside
By the cars. It was like 85F outside and 30 min later nobody came to us.

Ok, it was to hot so we decided to go back to sales floor to locate the guy
We find the guy talking to different customers.
Out of curiosity we ased what is going on?
Sales person: well I had customers so somebody else
Is going to take care of u!
Us: ????????????!!!! Ok, thank you.

We left the place and we won't ever be back even if they will give a car for free!

On Wednesday June 18th, 2014 I filled a long held dream, to own and drive my favorite car the Jaguar XF.  Joshua, who goes by Paul, is the professional that I had the privilege of working with at Jaguar of San Diego on Convoy Street.  Paul has changed my previous unfavorable view of "cars salesmen".  

Paul was very courteous, professional, attentive, patient, and knowledgeable.  He went out of his way to provide excellent customer service by offering various options, making helpful suggestions on how to achieve the most for the cost value, and even offered beverages to all of us several times.

Not once did Paul use sales pressure or negative manipulation tactics.  He made it clear that his goal was to help me realize my dream.  Before I went to Jaguar I thought to myself, this is what I would like the Jaguar representative to convey.  To my surprise, this is exactly what Paul communicated.  

I'm so pleased with my car and the wonderful service that I received. I would prefer to always work with Paul in the future as he is a top rate professional.

I had a great experience purchasing a used Jaguar from these fine folks.  The car was in immaculate shape, and they were professional all the way.  They had some really high end vehicles in the showroom - I was a bit envious!

Called to make an appointment to take our Jag in for a lube, oil, filter and fluid level check.  Dave, the service advisor told me we hadn't had the car in their shop for 2 years, so Jag would recommend remove and replace of all fluids and filters for every system on the car = $1,900.  I told him we hadn't driven the car hardly at all since we were in, and it had very low mileage, so could we get  the oil change, and then consider his recommendations.  He got snarky, and it made me realize why the service department at this dealership has such a poor reputation.

Joel took the time explain every question that I had, was super easy with the bargaining process, and friendly as could be. Ernie in finance department made the process very enjoyable while making sure to explain every detail. So I recently I turned fifty which really wasn't anything to get excited about...but one thing I was excited about is the new car my husband surprised me with a 2013 Jaguar XJL. I was beside myself with excitement!! My husband knows I prefer my rims to be chrome. Well when seeing my car for the first time I was ecstatic with its features. I spent most of the next week trying to learn them. It wasn't until a week later when I was getting my car washed that I was informed of the condition of one of my tires and rim..on my new car, I must say...upon taking a closer look I could see the tire had a gouge and the rim had chunks out of it. Only having a couple hundred miles most freeway from the dealership which was driven and delivered to our office in El Centro by Donald. I decided to make a few calls. I was extremely displeased!! Even more disturbing the guy that chromed my rims was a good friend of my salesman Donald. I drove my car back to San Diegans showed my concerns to Donald. He said I must have hit something on the road to cause this. I have been driving 30 plus years and never have I hit something to cause a gouge like this on a tire. But, Donald assured me that I hit something (very rudely I must say) no way!!! Donald took a picture of my tire and was going to speak with his manager in regards to my issue. This was a few months ago and I still have not heard anything....I also showed my tire to a manager at a local tire shop..he agreed this was not done from hitting something..it was done with a tool. I love my car, but my husband and I feel this was caused by the installation of the chrome wheels and because the guy that installed my chrome wheels was a friend of Donald he choose to put the burden on us! You would think after spending 87,000.00 and the safety/liability surrounding this issue the dealership would have changed out the tire and wheel no questions asked. Is this the dealership you would like to purchase your next high end car from?

What an enjoyable experience!  We bought a 2012 Jaguar XF from them.  Donald is their Fleet and Internet Manager and he was much less a salesman and more of a sales guide.  No pressure or nudging.  Just a tremendous amount of knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Jaguar name.  This was our first luxury auto purchase and I had some trepidation going into the experience.  What I found was a thoroughly professional but fun environment where it was apparent that people wanted to make our purchase experience a good one.  

Donald was enormously patient with us over several visits and as we became better educated on the Jaguar brand and gradually worked our way to the specific model, packages, options and even the physical car, Donald was there making sure it was all working the way we wanted it to.  We talked about and looked at his used and his new inventory and ultimately bought new.  When we made our tentative choice, Donald arranged for us to rent that model for a few days so we could see how passionate we really were.  The new car itself is beyond compare and coupled with Donald and the rest of the staff we met, I now understand the stories I heard about families coming back to Jaguar, car after car.

I had a great experience with San Diego European Motorcars, and would certainly recommend them.  

Donald Wade, my salesperson, was knowledgeable about the car, passionate about what he did, and was honest throughout.   Didn't feel like I was dealing with "sales" at all.   The whole experience was low pressure, very friendly, and productive.  

When I decided that I'd found the car that I was interested in, we were actually able to do the whole deal the next day by text!  I don't think I talked with him once, which, in my case, was a very good thing.    He kept me in the loop the whole way, got me the very most out of my trade in, even calling in some contacts of his own to help.  

The other cool thing was that once I decided on the car that I wanted, we basically did the whole deal by text.   He was certainly available by phone or in person, but we got a lot done that day just by texting back and forth.   Just about the lowest hassle buying experience that I've ever had - super cool.

Now I've got the car, I still feel like the company is with me on this, and that I have started a relationship with them.   I could have gone to a lot of other places to buy this car (a 2013 Jag XJL), but I am really happy I stumbled upon these guys.

They come with the very highest of marks, and are at least worth a look if you are in the market for a Jag.  If they don't have what you want, they will find it.

We originally took our 2000 Jaguar S-Type for service to fix some issues I was experiencing.  I was given a Jaguar XF while they checked my car.  Robert Deck in service was great.  He kept me informed all along.  It  never felt as though they were trying to rip me off.  They won't fix anything without your approval.  Well, after they checked everything out, it was going to cost a lot more than I wanted to spend to fix everything. I decided that it wasn't worth repairing it, and someone I knew decided to buy it from us and fix it up himself. With that money we purchased another Jaguar through Donald Wade.  He didn't pressure us, he let us take the car I was interested in, home to see if I really liked it and make sure it fit our garage.  Donald showed me all the different models  in the same price range. Gave me all the pros and cons.  We found a same year and model someplace else and Donald already did the research on it and gave me all the stats.  Everyone at Jaguar San Diego are so nice, professional, no pressure, and very patient.  Working with this new Jaguar dealership on the corner of Convoy and Balboa (compared to when they were next to Acura) has given me a new look and feel how a dealership should be.  
I will definitely go back to Jaguar San Diego/San Diego European for service and to purchase my next Jaguar.  But for now, I'm enjoying my 2004 Jaguar XJ.  Thanks Donald and Robert!!!

My wife and I purchased a used Lexus at the San Diego Jaguar shop on May 27th. They process was easy and even fun. The salesman, Donald, was awesome. He spend a lot of time with us giving us the pro/cons on each car and did not try to push one over the next. We test drove three or four cars and he was still asking if we wanted to drive something else.  My wife was a little scared to test drive an expensive car and he said to her  "that's why i'm here, I have insurance, so get it and drive". It was a great line that relaxed my wife.

The financing was also easy. We did not plan to buy a car that day so we did not have our checkbook with us, but they still let us drive the car home that night and return the next day to drop off a check which completed the down payment process. they have a nice selection of high end used cars that are in excellent condition. We could not be happier with the Lexus LS460 we purchased at a great price.

This is the new Jaguar dealership in San Diego and I was really happy with the service this dealership provided me. they fixed my car quickly and gave me a Jaguar XF to drive while mine was in the shop. Great service and staff.
