Reviews on Danny Motors

I just bought a 2002 Volvo S60 from Danny Motors.

My purchasing experience wasn't "excellent" nor was it "bad." If I could, this review falls more in line with a 4.1 star rating.

I first saw the car online, list price was good for the mileage and year of the car. Upon showing up for a test drive, I asked about the price, Elma said "oh, that price was mistake. But we will honour it anyways." (5/5)

I don't know what to make of that, but the discreptancy between the online price and actual on-the-lot price was about $1000. Even the higher end (+$1000) price was well below that of nearby lots. (4/5)

The negotiating process was nice, as in "typical" car-buying experience. He (at the time Elma was out) gave us the normal "bottom line" BS, we gave a final offer and left. About an hour later, upon Elma's return, they called us and counter-offered (met us about halfway price-wise). (3/5, for being typical)

After that, we proceeded to forget about them and look at other cars...

About one week later we came back to the lot, and gave yet another offer. They kindly continued negotiations as though we had not been rude and ignored them for an entire week... and eventually they gave us 80% of the reductions we wanted. (5/5, for patience)

And then the purchase. Smooth process. No complaints. (3/5, again average)

Car-wise, the Volvo was immaculate and as described online. Literally. Save a few cosmetic things like scratches, dings, and cracked rubber (replaced at no cost to us!) it was like new (better than I'd expect for a nine year old car). Mechanically, it was checked out by three (yes, three) different people... one body, two engine/transmission. They said the car was like new as well, and recommended normal 60k maintenance (which we used to negotiate price... amazing, considering this is not something wrong with the car). (4.5/5)

Would I recommend going through them again? Yes.

Total points: 24.5
Average score: 4.08

The easiest a smoothest car buying I have ever experienced. I have bought plenty of automobiles and nothing compares to the experience I had with Eddie and Elma. The BMW I bought was in great condition! Highly recommended auto dealership. Thank you Eddie and Elma!

Saw a listing online and decided to drive by this place and check it out.  It's hard to spot if you aren't looking, it's in the same shopping center as a KFC.  Their cars are just parked along the side of a building which is different.

The dealer was nice, inviting, and seemed willing to work with us.  We test drove the car and it seemed to be of high quality.  It did have a busted front turn signal that was not repaired, the dealer said he was lazy to fix it but had a hookup to get it fixed (I think they should of at least fixed it before hand).

We decided not to buy anything yet from this dealer, but he did seem nice and wanted to help work with us.  Would go back if there was another car that fit what we were looking for.
