Sammie is the man. Period.

Him, Gus, Dominic and their amazing mechanic. I had found a car I really liked online and the reviews here were better than most. these guys have been around a while and a few folks I know in the industry said to go for it with them.

It was not completely smooth though... But wait for the outcome.

The car had some very minor issues upon visual inspection. One window regulator needed to be replaced and they had already ordered the part. We went into talk financing and there was quite a bit of negotiating but all in all I think they were on the up and up. Dominic made a small error that had a potentially big repercussion but was extremely upfront about the mistake and I do believe it was in good faith. That said they still went above and beyond for me. The car needed some fairly extensive work for the service schedule. They perform the work for free and did it quite quickly as well. There was another issue with the car that none of us could've predicted and though they had no liability they still offered to help me out a little bit with it and even covered the tow that I needed.

As of now I am the happy owner of the car and extremely grateful to them for giving me a hand when I needed it. Guys are good and if there something wrong just ask them if they can fix it!

I was ready to give them 5 stars but i have had the car for a few days now and realized there are things i missed that need to be fixed. First Ernie the saleman was fantastic. And the finance manager was just awesome! They are truly helpful. Ernie is a great guy. And i did get greeted by someone else but i forgot his name. I bought a black 2003 Toyota Avalon with 146,000 miles. The car runs fantastic. Here is what i should have realized. The windshield needs to be replaced. It has so many chips in it and i thought it was just dirty. I thought i could buff them out. It needs two new tires amd it pulls to the left. My fault as i should have had them fix the alignment at least. No mats in the car. I ordered them on line. I thought they were in the trunk. But no. And one dash light is out. Not horrific but i couldn't have known during the day. I say to anyone buying a car and i am usually vigilant but check EVRYTHING! Even bring a check list. I feel confident they would take care of the issues.

This is my first Yelp review and I feel compelled to share our experience. My girlfriend is looking for a newer vehicle and of course I've been helping her through the process. She finds a Honda Civic she likes online and we decide we will check out M&S as well as a few other places. We get in there and speak with Mohammed. He has a grey and black beard. Seems like a decent fella and seems to be giving us quality customer service. After test driving a few cars my girlfriend likes the Civic the best. We go inside to listen to what the car will cost. It's a used car dealer, prices are negotiable. We hear what he has to say and tell him that we have other places and cars to check out and we will not be buying today. A few minutes go by and Mohammed knows he's not closing a deal today so he goes and gets the "sales manager" Gus. Gus comes in with a similar spiel. We again tell him we aren't buying a vehicle today but will be soon. Maybe tomorrow, maybe in a month. Gus then says "What if you could have this car for $8500?" This was a car listed for 12k. We tell him that would be a great deal but we will not buy a car today. We get up and leave and go about our day looking at other cars. At the end of the day my girlfriend really likes 2. The Civic at M&S and an Accord down the street at Mel Rapton Honda.

The next day. We go to M&S again. This time it's us two plus her father. We make it appear we aren't sure which car we want but we know. We drive a few again and tell him we want to see what he can do on the Civic. We go inside and start negotiating. She does the talking. Me and her father are there for support. Typical standoff happens when she asks for his best price and he asks what she would pay for it. Neither budge in showing their hand.
10 maybe 15 minutes go by with the same ol song and dance from Mohammed. I step in and ask, "What is your best price for this car?" He is taken aback a bit. I'm more forward and stern and my girlfriend is more pleasant and non confrontational. He says $11,500. We tell him that Gus asked us if we would take the car at $8500. We tell him we like that price. He tells us there is no way they can sell us that car at that price. He starts telling us how he can throw in a few free oil changes and other minimal stuff. I stop him again and ask his best price. He doesn't budge. He goes and prints out the details on what the car costs his company. We tell him that they are obligated to make $ on their vehicles and can sell cars for whatever they feel is right but why were we flat out lied to? You quote $8500 and show us you paid $10k for it before investing a little more in cosmetic repairs. Mohammed tells us he had no idea Gus said that and does not understand why. He apologizes a few times for this.  $8500 and $11500 is a huge difference if you're keeping score at home. We got up and walked out.

We were flat out lied to. A total waste of time. The integrity here is obviously poor, look at the other reviews. Also, their cars are overpriced and don't protect you past 30 or 60 days. Mel Rapton Honda down the road offered us the almost exact same car with a 3 year warranty for $10,500. You are better off spending your hard earned $ with a reputable company you can trust. Peace of mind and integrity are valuable. Hopefully this company will clean up their sales tactics and get on the same page with each other.

I went here to purchase a car. We worked with Dominic. He was great, not pushy, we shared stories about our families. This was the smoothest car buying experience I have ever had. With this being said I took the car home and 2 days later I went out on a Friday  night. Stopped to gas only to find it had a locking gas cap on. I called the dealership  that night and they said come in tomorrow.   also left an email. When I got the car it had about a 1/4 of a tank of gas. By the time I got to the gas station I was almost on empty. I got a response for my email from "Gus". He was very rude. He said don't you realize you bought a used car? We put a gas cap on for you, and gave you a couple gallons of gas.  Well gee thanks Gus that's the least you could have done. He also said you bought a warranty take it to our shop or find your own.  The car wasn't detailed when I got it. It was dirty. Also I still have 2 issues and an wondering what to do. Basically Gus was acting like he did me a favor. The new cap trey put on was true wrong one so I had to go back again, because the engine light was on.  Finally I got tre right cap.

I was interested in purchasing a car here, and called to ask what it meant that their cars are all pre-inspected, and if I could take the car I'm interested in to a mechanic.  The guy on the phone first asked in a sharp voice for the stock #, and when I told him I didn't have that at the moment but I had the VIN number, he sounded angry and as if he wasn't going to even talk to me on the phone.  He did say that I could take the car to an independent mechanic, and then started to fight me, and to my question of what their inspections check for, he said "I don't know sir, I'm not a mechanic, how should I know??"  And started with smoke and mirrors without simply answering my questions.  He said that he didn't like my questions, asked if I was a lawyer.  I politely told him no I wasn't a lawyer, and prospective customer, but that he can't talk to me like that.  Then in a threatening voice, said "Why don't you just come down to the lot, I'll SHOW you..." at this point I hung up.  Unbelievable treatment of a prospective customer who was considering driving two hours to their dealership.  Thanks for helping me to make that decision.  How about a little respect for the customer?

Me and my fiance were looking to purchase our 2nd car. After searching for a Lexus GS 300 for about 2 months with low miles I stumbled upon M&S auto. George greeted us right away. he didn't have the car we were looking for but he showed us a Acura TL that my fiance fell in love with. After the test drive we were sold. George made the whole process easy and friendly. I would recommend these guys to everyone I know.

Typical shady used car lot. A pushy  salesman will follow you through the lot. You'll hear things like 260k miles actually isn't that much. All the cars are overpriced as well. They'll try to get you in the managers office before you leave, go inside if you want a good laugh. Knowing I had enough money to buy a car in full, they want me to finance? Probably a nice 5 year loan at 60% :)

If you find a car here you like, get the price lowered significantly and get a pre purchase inspection from an independent mechanic.

My parents and I originally came in for a G35 and though they had two of the specific model, we chose not to get either one. We ended up getting a 2010 Honda Accord. They all helped us with everything. From letting us test drive all three cars without hesitating, to giving us a great price for the car, to working out financial difficulties. They didn't look down on my dad for not having the best credit score, instead they kept telling us " We will help you out. Dont worry". And you know, we didn't.

Though I see some bad reviews on yelp for M&S, we still decided to go and I'm very thankful we did.

Do NOT buy from this lot.  They are liars.  I bought a 05 Toyota Tacoma and the AC was never cold and they told me to get it recharged.  I am here getting it recharged but my mechanic said there is a electrical issue and worst case is a new compressor about $900.  They also promised to send me a radiator overflow cap but never did.  I've called and left messages for Felix.  No calls back.  These guys are scammers.  The tires they put on the truck has no wheel weights on them.  They never even spin balanced the wheels.  M&S Auto are crooks.

Was looking around everywhere for a used car in my price range and just dropped by to see what they had. Most of their inventory was out of my price range and quality of inventory was a little bit nicer then what I could afford. But after a couple hours I was able to walk away with with a lexus(!) And in my price range. I've got to thank Eddie with the sale because he didn't give up to try to get me a reliable vehicle and in my affordability. Definitely will recommend their business

Very irritated. Two months later, still no license plates. I've called 4 times and each time, I get a different story about how to get them, where they are or when they were requested. Now, I have to take time off of work, go to DMV and pay $20 for a new set. I am told that they will reimburse me for what I pay. Words are words, so reimbursement remains to be seen.

Great customer service! Definitely put this place on your list if you are in the market for a used car.
We purchased a 2005 Toyota Camry XLE for a great price and we love it!
We dealt with Edi, Muhammad, and George.
We visited a bunch of car lots and many of them were very hesitant on letting us take the car to a shop for a vehicle inspection before purchase, but not M&S. They had no problem and no hesitation when we asked. The day we test drove the car, we couldn't come to an agreement on the price and we had to leave because of our two little kids, but we left our phone number for Edi to call us. The next day we came to an agreement on the price over the phone and Edi even took the car and met my husband at the shop of our choice. The inspection revealed the rack and pinion was leaking so my husband and Edi headed back to the office to discuss. George agreed to have it replaced by their mechanic and ready for us the next day. Unfortunately after we took it home my husband noticed it was still leaking... Honestly we were really worried about how this would be handled by M&S... My husband took the car back the day after and M&S didn't give him any grief at all! What a relief! They apologized, took the car, fixed the leak and had it ready for us the next day.  
Wow can you say awesome customer service? We were so impressed by them, we have been raving about M&S to our friends and family.  We definitely recommend purchasing a used vehicle here. They stand by their work and words and that's extremely important! We received our registration in the mail today from M&S along with a refund check of $40 for overpayment on fees. $40 and they didn't pocket it? What?!... Now that's a legit business doing it by the books.

I have never written a review before, and to be honest I would have given this place 5 stars and would have recommended it to many of my friends but not anymore or unless this situation gets fixed.
I drove about 2 hours to go get the car that I have now from M&S Auto, and this was my very first time buying a car from a dealership, the process when pretty quick, but I was skeptical of the car so the manager or owner(not sure who he was) gave me a 3000 mile warranty on it! Awesome right?
Well they also offered me a GAP insurance policy, at the time I asked if I could cancel the policy at any time and receive my money back and the guy said yes. The day after purchasing my car I got full coverage so I didn't need the GAP policy. I called them ordering to cancel it. I canceled it about 2 1/2 months ago. I called them about after a month and they said that the process takes about 45 days, it's been 70 and I still haven't received any refund or call about the situation.
They also gave me an almost broken key so I had to pay $150 to get a new one.

Bottom line: they have beautiful cars but don't buy anything other than the car. You will never see the money back.

Bought a car from here in September. I guess they forgot to tell me that the front driver side axle was recently replaced and believe it or not was the wrong size for the car. It was the wrong size so much that it leaked transmission fluid and I was pretty much driving without tranmission fluid for the 1st couple of months I had the car. Horrible. Had to get the axle replaced and now I am a thousand dollars in the hole. Be careful.

My daughter & I had a great experience at M & S. Baja was super easy to deal with and George was very willing to negotiate a great deal on our 2005 Honda Civic. There were a couple issues that needed to be fixed and the dealership willingly took care of the items prior to delivery. This is my daughter's first vehicle and it was an easy process, no haggles, no stress. The car was clean and thoroughly checked. They even encouraged me to have my mechanic come and take a look at it, which I did.

Used car dealerships get a bad rap  - but M & S Auto is A-OK in my book.

Don't ever buy a car from these people, I bought  a car there 4 months ago and I have been calling them for my the registration and the tags for my car which they said they would provide.  I have called and called and each time they are going to call me back, No call back, no registration and no tags for the car now the tags have expire. I talked to someone else at the dealership and they tell me to go for DMV and that DMV will provide them at no cost. So I am taking time off of work,  to go sit there and hopefully DMV won't charge me.  I hate business  that don't provide the service they say they will!

My fiancé and I came here to look at a Acura RSX that they had. Car looked exactly as how it was described on the ad and ran great! Gus helped us with the financing and helped us go through a great bank with hardly any hassle! Customer service is great and it is a big happy family here. I wish I could give 6 stars for this place! I worked with Baja who seriously pulled every possible string in order to get me the loan I wanted after my loan from my credit union fell through. He worked and was patient with me for almost 3 hours, never getting irritated or frustrated. I don't think I could have gotten this car from anyone else. Not to mention at a great price! Go to this dealership and have Baha help you and you won't be disappointed! I cannot thank him enough for the effort he put in to help me out.

This is the most unprofessional auto dealer that I have ever visited. I called them up to make sure the car I wanted was still there and they said it was. I drove all the way over there and then they tell me that the car was sold a few days ago. They lied to me so that they could get me down there and try to sell me a different car. It was classic bait and switch.

As if that wasn't enough, the salesman didn't even bother to get up out of his chair to greet me. He stayed lounged in his chair the entire time as I was standing there. He gave the appearance that I wasn't worth even getting up to shake a hand with.  They lie to get you to come into their dealership and then once your there they treat you like dirt. I wish I could go lower than one star.

Don't buy there. Their advertisement on Auto Trader and Craigslist says the car has security system, keyless entry, floor mats etc....but the car we bought didn't come with it. Baha said he will honor the advertisement and to take the car back to the dealer but when we got there, he had a brain fart. He can't remember  anything that he promised. The people there got upset and said they will take the car back cause they will not honor the advertisement. a BUNCH OF FLAKES!!!!!!

My sister needed a car and had been shopping in her area for one and was getting nowhere quick, so I told her to come up to Sacramento and check out some of the cars I found on AutoTrader.  M&S came up a few times with cars in our price range and brand.  We met Baha & Gus, both very pleasant and also very busy - both of them were finishing up paperwork with customers who just bought cars before we arrived.  We called ahead and they had the cars we wanted to look at ready, handed us the keys, and said "Have a test drive and we'll see you when you get back".  I do EXHAUSTIVE research on used cars, and theirs are high mileage good quality cars that are USED, so I did not expect PERFECTION when we saw the car - a 2001 Lexus IS300 with approx 160k miles.  The car was clean, mechanically and visually, it drove beautifully, and the carfax came back pristine.  As I expected, they did their best to send us home with a car that day, and of course I would not allow it - we had to do our due diligence.  We left and test drove other cars with similar criteria but none had the same quality mechanically or visual appeal that M&S had, and all the other dealers were at 2k more expensive.  In the end, and after multiple calls from Baha to assure her that he would make a deal with her, get her the bast rate she could (ZERO FICO score), and send her home with a good car she will love, and that is exactly what happened.  In fact, she was to and from Livermore & Sacramento in a rental car quite a few times that weekend shopping, and it was Baha & a friend that ended up driving her new car from Sacramento and delivered it to her home in Livermore.  I don't know about you, but that is the kind of customer service I appreciate, and my sister did as well.  I did not find anybody rude, unkind, dis-pleasant or unwilling to negotiate.  I felt compelled to share others will know that it is possible to have a great car shopping experience at this dealership.  My tip: remember these are USED cars, and are priced accordingly.  Check out EDMUNDS.COM for true market values for used cars - it's more accurate than Kelley Blue Book.

Don't go here if you are expecting quality customer service. The finance guy Guss, was a total jerk! He pushed and pushed and told me "buy the the car if you want, or go somewhere else. I don't care. The choice is yours". He was rude when I was on the phone with my dad. "Are you going to buy or not? I have other people waiting to get this car." I was going to buy it, but he made the decision for me. I walked right out and never went back. I got the car I wanted elsewhere and for a better price, and from better people.
