Reviewing their SERVICE Department:

We had to take one of our cars in for service rather unexpectedly.  After dealing with a nightmare of an experience with the tow truck company we were pretty stressed.  I made contact with the service department and had the pleasure of being put under the care of their service professional Steven Cairns, what a breath of fresh air he was!

Immediately he made us feel calm and reassured that our situation would be taken care of immediately.  He gave us realistic time frames for completion and always remained professional and in constant communication.  He was very explicative when explaining to us what our vehicle needed and why.  We felt a sense of trust and knew that we were in good hands.  He even recommended an additional service that was needed and covered under warranty for our car.

We were more than satisfied with the experience we had overall with the Service Department with Niello Jaguar but Steven made the experience memorable.  We will not hesitate to take our vehicle here in the future for the same reliable and fast service we have received already.

I recently purchased a used X-Type from Neillo Jag/Land Rover in Sacramento and can't say enough about the solid experience I had. My salesman, Zach went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with the car and sales manager Daniel treated me more than fairly when I needed some maintenance shortly after buying the car. When I first went to Neillo to look at a different car I mentioned to Zach that I was looking for a "needle in a haystack", ie  a really nice preowned car with low miles for a resonable price. Well, I found that needle as well as an excellent example of what a luxury car dealership should be. Thanks guys--I'll be back for that XF Jag in a couple of years!

My father Ray S. just bought a jaguar xk at this dealership and he had the best car buying experience. the entire process was easy and pleasant, Neil Oldman was great to work with. I highly recommend this dealership. They make you feel like royalty.

It was a surprisingly pleasant experience buying a 2005 Jaguar S type supercharged from this dealer last year. The car was presented as regularly maintained by the same dealer and checked thoroughly before it was put on sale. It was at it's best detailed form. Test drive was smooth and the car ran perfect with no apparent leaks or problems. It has been about a year since I bought this car and for the 3000 miles I put on it, it ran perfectly until a week ago. Now it is leaking coolant, and has to be topped after about every 20 miles. I have an appointment with them soon and fingers crossed. I hear good things about their service department, will post my experience after the service is done on Tuesday the April 8th.

 To be continued.

 update as of April 10:
Well, I left my STR at the service department on the 8th, and a shuttle car brought me home. My fingers crossed because the coolant leak originated from the right upper side of the engine where the cylinder head block is. A leak from the head gasket would be prohibitively expensive. The next day they calmed my anxiety by informing me that the coolant leak was from a bad coolant hose going to the right upper side of the engine and no big deal. I was picked up by their shuttle car and I realized the shuttle driver was the service manager Val. He said no driver was available at that time, and he volunteers to be in touch with his customers first hand. I picked up my meticulously repaired, washed, and detailed (complimentary)  racing green STR. My cat was purring again.
I recommend Niello Jaguar's sale and service departments.

I had the best possible car buying experience at Land Rover/Jag and would recommend anyone to purchase a car from any dealership in the Niello group- but my experience at Land Rover/Jag was incredible.

I used to drive a VW GLI & drove way out of my way to get my vehicle serviced at Niello VW on Arden- Dana, my service tech there, was excellent & really helped my prioritize my maintenance & repairs to stay within my budget- and she would tell me point blank what was necessary & what was not.

I found my new car using the Niello app. I worked with Scott Johnson- he was approachable, helpful... the whole experience was stress free. The sales manager Daniel was equally kind & at one point, there was a group of the sales team in the parking lot with me checking out my new car & congratulating me. So great- the team was all so helpful and the accents on the Brits don't hurt.

Things got even better with finance, Gina was patient, helpful & through. Before taking my car home, the service department did some work on her- Steve was BEYOND amazing- we bonded over having the same car & he really made an effort to work with his vendors to deliver a perfect vehicle.

I got an AMAZING deal on my car and would send ANYONE to Niello- they hire the RIGHT people, the customer service is insane.

My 81 year old mother has always wanted a Jag-u-r, her Audi was 10 years old so I said lets go to Niello or Jaguar Sacramento and take a look. We were soon greeted by Shawn (an Irishman) who I immediately liked due to his pleasant demeanor and obvious knowledge of the Jaguar line. Shawn (John) showed us the Jag's we were interested in and was oh so patient. We then met Daniel the sales manager who was equally pleasant to deal with especially after giving us a screaming deal. The fun now began, my mom couldn't make up her mind on the color. Shawn went to great lengths to take one off the showroom floor and park it next to the other one mom liked. Now I am confused, Shawn grinned and went inside to let us ponder the situation. Two hours later mom chose the showroom car. Absolutely no pressure just patience. Paperwork came next which was a breeze. Now came the pre flight mom was getting tired so Shawn went over the basics and made an appointment for us to come back the following day to go over everything which we did in detail. Shawn loaded cd's, synced phones introduced us to the service advisors and later called mom at home to see if she had any questions or needed help. I have purchased many vehicles over the years but this was by far the best and most fun I have had at any dealership. I highly recommend Shawn and David at Sac Jag (Niello) they are true professionals and will never know how happy they made an 81 year old grandma. Every time I talk to mom she says I sure am glad I got that car in that color. Thanks again guys for making her happy.

Bought a new Jaguar last week and I couldn't have been happier with the entire transaction! Spencer and Scott from sales treated me very well and the finance team was also fantastic - smooth transaction and a great deal on a beautiful car. I'm recommending them to all of my friends and I will be back to purchase an upgrade from them in 36 months! :)

Have purchased two new Jags within the last two years. Excellent cars and excellent
people to deal with.
I strongly suggest, if you're looking for a luxury car or a sports car, you check them out before decide on anything.  You won't regret it....

Let me start by saying "I hate the car shopping experience", going into purchase my third vehicle, I was not looking forward to the sales pitches, pressure and being overwhelmed by the process.  So it was a big shock to the system how quick and painless shopping for my new vehicle was.  Spencer, thanks for answering all my questions and the test drive.

It got even better when it came to dealing with the Finance Manager. He was straight forward and very honest about my coverage options. I felt confident with the purchase I was making and relieved to not walk out confused and asking myself what I just got myself into.
I am so happy with my purchase.

Thanks, Gentlemen it was a pleasure.

I recently purchased a Jag XKR 175 from this dealership and felt compelled to sing their praises.
After getting the car home I noticed some cosmetic flaws in the car. The owner, Rick Niello got his General Manager Richard Farler involved who immediately called me to tell me everything would be taken care of to my satisfaction.

He even contacted my local Jag dealer (Cole) to arrange all the repairs so I would not have to drive there again from Walnut Creek.

Anybody can get 5 stars when everything is perfect. What separates the real incredible companies is how they handle customers when there is a problem. In my book they were incredible. If I could have given 6 stars, I would have. Highly recommended.

Without any exaggeration, the best experience I have ever had buying a car! I picked up my dream car, a 2010 Jaguar XKR coupe from Niello Jaguar.  I worked with Brian Meiers and from our first conversation, I knew Niello Jaguar would be a different experience than I had before with other dealers.  I ended up driving all the way from Southern California just to pick up my car.
The whole process was a breeze, and most importantly Brian was completely honest and straightforward.  I also saved thousands for what I would have paid in Southern California.  Also, Brian was 100% honest about everything, and went over every detail regarding the vehicle's condition.  I truly felt Brian cared about me and was on my side, an extremely rare quality to find in any car's salesman.
I cannot say enough about how happy I am with working with Niello Jaguar.  I even wrote the company CEO a letter to let him know how amazing everything went.
Buy your next car here, you won't find a better place!

Brought a 1989 Jaguar XJS from another dealer in on Wednesday because it ran smooth but had some fuel & oil smells and a leak from the steering rack, for a compression test first and then, assuming it passed compression, a complete inspection; prior to making anything like an offer. It was understood with Chad Brown, the service manager, that work would not proceed until compression check was done and I was informed as to their findings.

Now, Friday, after I have had no word for 3 days, the original dealer is out 3 days of sale (if I don't buy the car) and, depite instructions from the service manager, my invoice says "Did not see reason to perform compression check as engine ran smoothly at idle and off idle." with a list of other significant issues.

Unfortunately, the *one thing* I asked to be done wasn't done (I wouldn't have brought in the car if it didn't seem solid but 1 bad valve in a 24 cylinder engine might not be heard or noticed without a compression test) so I have no reason to make an offer on the car. I like the car or I wouldn't have been willing to pay $420.00 to have it checked. Now I am out $320 to Jaguar of Sacramento, can't even make an offer on the car I was interested in, the owner is out loss of sale and I am out a few hundred dollars for absolutely nothing. Sure, other tests were performed but I gave strict instructions that without the car passing a compression test, they were not to be performed. Without knowing if the engine is good, the other results are useless to me.

Chad Brown does the customer service talk the way it should be done. Too bad his staff don't follow his instructions or communicate with the paying customer.  Unless Jaguar of Sacramento either performs the compression test tomorrow without making me wait (assuming the other dealer will even cooperate at this point) or refunds all my money, I will have to find a way to get my money back and escalate/broadcast my complaint.

This isn't just bad bad service or even theft; it's worse because in addition to taking my money and wasting not only my time but the other dealer's time, they may have blown what might have been a successful business transaction. They have, at the very least put me in an akward position with the other dealer.

As someone in outside sales, I've purchased many cars over the years. I've dealt with the best, and most of the rest. I live in the Bay Area, but made a trip to Jaguar of Sacramento because they had an XJ that really appealed to me. I initially talked to a salesman over the phone who said that Jag of Sac was not like other dealers. I took that comment with a grain of salt and headed up for a look.

This was, without a doubt, the simplest and most rewarding car buying experience I've had. After a test drive, I sat with the Sales Manager Richard Farler and made the deal in 15 minutes. None of the usual business that normally goes with the new (or used) car buying experience. He was a straight shooter, and his staff was as well.

What really impressed me was that everyone, from the salespeople to the Department Heads, really seemed to actually care about making the experience a positive one. It wasn't lip service, and it was easy to tell that all involved were sincere. As someone who has been in sales all my life, there is noting more satisfying than seeing a job done right by professionals. I can wholeheartedly recommend Jaguar of Sacramento to anyone thinking of buying a luxury car.

Was reminiscing about my old Jag so thought a quick look wouldn't hurt.  Unfortunately the memories of the unreliable car and the excessive bill to constantly get it serviced made for a mixed bag versus the expensive new cars.

They wanted to charge me $700+ to replace a light switch. I checked around and found I could get it done for $500+. I'm not going back to Jaguar in Sacramento.

Disclaimer: This is for the service department.

Having a coolant leak and a full warranty I thought, "hell I will take it to the dealer so I don't have to deal with a bunch of bullshit of trying to find a decent mechanic."

And that's what they are here, pretty freaking good. The customer service is impeccable, I got a rental car for free for the two days that my car was in the shop, all the free coffee I wanted, plenty of contact between me and my service representative during the diagnostic testing of my vehicle, and letting me know the breakdown of all that they "needed" to do. If I didn't want something done they did not pressure me into making me feel like I did. Major un-score when I found out my the thing I needed replacing to fix my coolant leak wasn't covered under warranty, but such is life, right? Murphy's Law or whatever?

Labor is more expensive here but you get what you pay for. Usually if you are driving a Jaguar or a Land Rover in the first place, you can probably afford the service. I think it's about $130 an hour but my figure could be a bit off.

They do a full inspection every time you get your car fix and they top off any fluids you might need. They also fixed my windshield washer sprayer for free because it was clogged.

Major bonus points for detailing my car for me before I got it back (she's never been cleaner) and free Starbucks coffee maker in the lobby. NOM NOM!!!

Everyone in that place is legit and super nice. Thanks Steven for dealing with my car issues in a timely manner! And the front desk lady I forget your name, but you were really nice too.
