Reviews on Industry Motors

I'll be honest: I didn't have high expectations walking onto the lot of a used car dealership. They don't exactly have the best general public reputation.

Industry Motors is definitely an exception.  From our very first contact on the phone, they were very friendly, helpful and professional.  This carried through our every interaction.

They had a specific car we were looking for (Honda Pilot) and everything looked good on the web, so we went to see it.  Now, we're two hours away, so this is no minor thing. While we had set up a couple of other vehicles to see while in Sacramento, it's still a big deal to travel up there, so the fact that they handled things well is very appreciated.

We test drove the car and I looked at every nook and cranny.  I looked for the usual maintenance suspects and things looked good.

There were a couple of missing items (headrests, etc) so I included receipt of those in my negotiations once we decided to purchase the vehicle. Not only did they come through with the missing items, they were shipped to us overnight so that we could have them on our trip!

While doing the paperwork, everything was thoroughly explained to me. The inspection that had been done, and couple of minor repairs that came about because of it, were shown to me (I got a copy of the work order).

In a few hours, we were able to go from interested to purchased and happy.

We've had the vehicle for a couple of weeks now and we're very happy with our purchase.

I was really surprised at how rude the sales staff are here!

I called asking about a car I'd seen online that was significantly above the Kelley Blue Book. I owned this exact car several years ago and wondered whether they'd consider pricing closer to the stated fair price from a deal on Kelly Blue Book.

The sales guy insisted that $3k over the Kelley Blue Book on an $6k car was a great deal, said that I had shitty information and then hung up!

So much for a friendly research call. I would not buy any vehicle from here.

This came as a surprise, we were looking on Craigslist for a truck and happened to come across Industry Motors. We weren't looking to buy a car from a used car dealer but with some of the phony ads we came across on Craigslist, we were willing to try another alternative to car buying.  Asaad is a very knowledgeable and professional individual. He's been in the car selling business for years now. All of the cars on his lot come with a Carfax report and majority of the cars look brand new or almost new.

We've been looking for a vehicle for months and finally decided that a small truck would be most beneficial for us. After looking at cars for sale from private parties, some of these trucks for sale looked good in pictures and totally not the case when we got there. Some had been in accidents but disclosed that they've never been. This wasn't the case here, we found the truck, the same day he listed it and hubs went over and made the transaction. It was a toss up between Industry and another car dealer in Angel's Camp. We originally made plans to go to Angel's Camp, but when this truck came up, we couldn't pass it up, saved us on the drive time. We found out from the Carfax report that the truck had only one previous owner, the same as the truck in Angel's Camp, which was a plus.

Asaad did knock off a few hundred bucks off the price. We also purchased a warranty through him because our loan company couldn't compete with the warranty that Asaad was offering. If you're looking for another vehicle, stop by here. The surrounding neighborhood is a little iffy, but that doesn't mean there isn't a deal to be found.

This was an odd vehicle purchase because I left with exactly what I was looking for, at a fair price. The staff were just great and wanted to be sure that all concerns were addressed. They were. No pressure with the after sale stuff like gap insurance and warranties.  Never thought that I could say I had a very pleasant transaction at a used auto dealership. Great vehicle. Fair price. Concern and respect from the ownership.  You are buying a used car and that's different from a new car.  If you understand that, then your experience should be a positive one. My gosh, I said that about a used car lot? Yep,  and I'll say it again,  too!!

I bought a Mazda lemon here in September of 2011. Felt a bit suspicious when the car was a slightly underpriced. Also, felt a bit strange when I asked the owner if he knew of any problems with the car but he couldn't look me in the eye when he told me no. Literally as soon as I got it home it started making a very strange sound somewhere in the engine (which I have still not been able to fix). Only a year and a half later I've spent nearly as much on repairs as I originally paid for the car. Unfortunately, I've very much regretted this purchase.

Asaad was very kind let us look around on our own even let me tamper with the car. If we had any questions he answered them promptly. All cars come with free carfax!  After looking finally came back and bought a 2008 Toyota Corolla and love it!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Business is run by liars and thiefs only out to get you for your money. Tell you that you are getting a great "deal" then change the terms at the last minute and try to sneak them in when they think you will not notice. We were treated very poorly and were barely able to get out of there without getting stuck in a deal that would have been terrible for us. My suggestion is to skip this place at all costs. The only upside to the whole place is the adorable guard puppy out back.
