I bought an '06 Honda Civic from this dealership in 2012. I ended up paying an extra thousand more than what I had hoped but oh well, it was my first car and I was really in need of it. I drove it out of town the next day. I needed it for college. Kevin was a cool guy. The closer is a tough ass Iranian I think. Be prepared to stay firm with your offer or just walk out. He is hard to negotiate with. I will definitely come back here when I want to buy another used car.

Not sure how to start this, but here goes.

This dealer was absolutely wonderful. My dad and I were out today (and have been for a while) shopping for my first car. We went to one other dealer before this, and it was totally shady. My dad test drove a car earlier and it was fine, then we test drove it again later in the day and all these lights went up on the dash. That dealer also took an illegal deposit from my dad (which we luckily got back).

So we decided to go to this dealer. The minute we pulled in I felt so much better. It's cleaner, and looks much more official. Almost right away a salesman was out to see us, but wasn't pushy or anything at all. Just wanted to help us get what we needed. We were looking at an '08 Toyota Prius.
We told him we wanted to test drive it, and he was very thorough. He got my dad's cell number and a copy of his ID, drove it forward a bit to get the miles, and had my dad adjust the mirrors in the parking lot. We took it out and it performed beautifully.

The salesman (I wish I could remember his name) was very flexible when it came to price. The car was priced a little high for our budget, but we were able to easily work it down to something more affordable.

I feel very safe about this dealer, I know if anything goes wrong I can talk to them and it will be fixed. Everyone was very nice and helpful and accommodating, and not pushy AT ALL, which was extremely refreshing. It made the whole process much easier and enjoyable.
We ended up purchasing the Prius, and I couldn't be happier!!!

Hands down the worst customer service I've ever experienced.  The salesmen, Kevin was a complete moron!  He asked us how long we had been looking and when we said we had done our research and were looking at 8 cars he told us to go away and come back after we looked at the other cars.  Whaaaat?????  We explained we were ready to buy and were seeing which car out of the 8 we liked best.  He told us to go test drive all the other cars and come back if we were still interested.  I pushed the envelope and said that we wanted to test drive the car he was selling.  He did not want to let us, but finally told us we could take it around the corner on surface streets.  When we said we'd like to see how it performs on the highway he said no, we would need to come back for that.  Needless to say we opted not to test drive the car or buy from someone who is that stupid.  He lost a sale that by all accounts he probably would have landed!!

My boyfriend and I went there last night to look at a honda pilot because we are in the market to buy one. We get there right before closing time and as employee sitting inside didn't even acknowledge me when I opened the door he just continued on with his conversation...sounded like a personal call. Then kevin shows up and pulls the car up for us to look at and tells us not ask for a test drive unless we are going to buy the vehicle. That was rude...what if the car didn't drive right? What if the carfax days it's a salvaged title? He lost a sale because he didn't want to take the time to go for a test drive. I wouldn't go there if I wanted to be treated with respect. They are so rude. I guess that's what happens when you go to those small run down car dealerships...they don't care about customer service because they figure their business will shut down next week anyways. Acting that way Kevin, I'm surprised you are still in business

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone I bought a car there and they completely sold me a lemon. I know that they do not take care of their cars and they just sell them as is and in terrible conditions because the car that I had bought from them had many safety hazards. My car was not even drivable and I was told from a mechanic it was dangerous to drive a month after I had bought the car. I was lied to and convinced that it was a good car just so this dealership could sell. It was the most awful time in my life and lots of money wasted.

I can't write this review fast enough. I scheduled an appt to drive an hour and a half out to meet Kevin at a designated time. 10 am. I get here for him to tell me that he pulled the car off the lot because the tire was faulty. He proceeds to tell me that I shouldn't drive the car but I can. What the hell? I tell him that's crazy and he shouldn't have had me drive here. He says he will look into fixing it today, what's the big deal? I told him that I would be posting yet ANOTHER negative Yelp review. So here it is. You've been warned!

I haven't actually gone to look at cars here, and I never will.  I tried to get pre-approved for financing for a car I was interested in, and the employee I dealt with was a slick-talking, condescending slime ball.  I take joy in doing my small part to lower the rating of this shady dealership.

I visited this car lot to see if they would have anything interesting at a good price.  He right away shut me down when I named a price I did not want to go over. When I asked about the possibility of financing, and if they would be able to offer a certain interest rate.  He said no, no would offer that rate. When I said that another place I'd been talking to had already offered that rate he said well good for you then, and told me to get off his lot (as I was already walking away). The representative, who called himself "Bob", which I'm sure was a fake name, became upset when I said I could get that somewhere else and became inappropriately rude in response to my comment about the interest rate. I recommend to anyone looking to buy a car to NOT visit this lot as you will walk away feeling chastised for wanting a good interest rate.

Buyer beware.  This business is very shady.  The front windshield had a crack on it and they didn't do anything to accommodate us.  At the end of the deal, they surprised us with a $500 surcharge for the loan processing fee after we got approved and didn't tell us until we signed for the car.  To make matters worse, the car was on empty and they filled it with $1.50 which got us to the gas station.  I took the car in to an auto shop for maintenance that same week and the mechanic told us that the brakes were bad and needed to be changed.  I suggest that you take time and look somewhere else instead of rushing to buy a car.  I regret rushing to buy before I read the reviews of the business.

I purchased my car & Kevin helped me the whole way thru. He was super friendly & straight forward. I would definitely come back & refer anyone here. I got here at 10am, left to go to a meeting, came back & drove off the lot at 330pm. I purchased my warranty through them & they answered every question I had without making me feel rushed.

This is a very stereotypical used car dealership. That doesn't mean you can't get a great deal. Just be very thorough and careful with the vehicle you chose. Do your research online about common problems and recalls with the make and model you are interested in and be ready to take on those issues if any.

This dealership does have the slick car sales guy and finance guy behind the desk...but then again what dealership doesn't? The difference here is these guys don't wear their typical suit and tie. Their appearance may be off putting but once you get to know them they aren't so bad. If you're really interested in the vehicle, don't be afraid to ask questions.

I'm giving them 3 stars because I did find a good deal here on a good car. But they did try to slip in an extended warranty on my quote when all I did was ask what type of warranty do I get with the car. I asked the finance guy how much the warranty cost and he said "eighteen something"...leaving me to ask.."eighteen hundred??". I was able to get it removed and all is well. Also when I traded in my car they didn't test drive it. I traded in a car that was in perfect condition but what if it wasn't? Would they sell it to the next customer without fixing it? That's why you as a consumer have to be super thorough. To make up for their slack.

I later did my research on warranty solutions...which is the extended warranty that this dealership offers. Although backed by Wells's not worth the paper it's printed on. A bad rating with the BBB and tons of complaints about how they never pay out is reason enough to avoid. Bottom line..Don't buy it.

In the end they do have great deals here. I was able to find a good car at a more than reasonable price. Just do your research, avoid the warranty that they sell and bring a mechanic to be safe.

Searched for a car for our some for a few weeks.  We finally found a great deal and they got him financed!  They went above and beyond in customer service- even buffed out some minor scratches on the trunk!  The prices are fair and the customer service was excellent!

Kevin was fantastic. Let me know before test driving the prices online are bottom dollar so neither of us were wasting each others time. Mike takes some time to warm up to but was very nice throughout the financing process.

Their no "BS" attitude was exactly what I was looking for after three months of other sales men trying to wheel and deal. Would definitely buy from again.

Great Dealership!

Walli, Andre and Kevin were great to deal with.  It was a relief to  deal with a place that  didn't bullsh*t  you, had quality used cars AND at the best prices around.

Choice Auto N Truck was the most honest and professional dealership I have been to as I shopped all over Sacramento and Bay Area. They were very respectful and did not pressure me into anything. Simple sales technique .. Thats the car, thats the price buy it if you like it... and I DID..  

Financing through them with a major bank was easy and at a great rate, I am very happy and relieved with my whole car buying experience. You better believe I will send all my friends and family to Choice Auto N Truck when they need a vehicle..

If your car shopping, do yourself a favor and at least check these guys out, you won't be disappointed.

I second Matt J's review.  High quality, carefully chosen vehicles.   Actually had fun getting to know the guys and bought  a beautiful car at a fantastic price.   Mo, Wally, and Andre are respectful and upfront and want the buyer to be happy with the car they choose.  My husband was so impressed with my experience (I had done my research!),  we'll be heading back to Choice to get another vehicle soon.

The sales person was, as you would suspect, trying to be slick.  We all expect that, buy saying that he was "impressed with me" because no other female would want to buy a stick shift was just insulting. Also, he tried to downplay the flaws of the vehicle (which I did not buy) and didn't seem to know much about the make or model.  The dealer's website also had a lot of mistakes in the listing, which almost kept me from even taking a look at the car.

The worst thing was the way he scoffed at my pre-approved credit and acted like he had never heard of such a thing and didn't know how to deal with it.

I do not recommend this place unless you know what you want and it's the only place to get it.
