This place does not even deserve 1 star!

I had been looking for a 500e since March during the amazing lease special, but every studio in the entire LA and Ventura areas were sold out. Finally I decided to contact FIATUSA.com and speak to a representative. Aimee helped me out and was very nice, she called the Van Nuys studio and talked to SAN. She stated they had a few coming in soon and he would give me a call.

I spoke to SAN later that day and he stated that they have a lease special for $2,500 down for 10k miles a year for $89 + tax per month and as soon as the vehicles were in he could give me a call.

On Friday Michael called me saying the cars were coming in, they had 2; one was a sport package and the other was a basic. I told him I am interested but didn't know if I could come in that day. I ended up being able to come in and when I walked in the door about 6pm Yvonne greeted us. She said she would be able to assist us.

She stated they only had one left, that the basic one had sold early that morning. (Which this didn't make sense because we were given a call at about 10am.) We test drove the car and really like it. When we went in to talk about pricing she got up all of a sudden and told us she would be right back.

When she came back she brought Jason, a lead at the studio. This is where everything went downhill, fast. He was rude, said that there was no SAN that worked there, never has either and that the lease deal we were told doesn't even exist. He refused to work with us, lied to our faces and tried to make us look like idiots. Finally after 10 minutes of arguing with him we got up and left. As we were walking out I turned back and they were LAUGHING at us.

If you want to be humiliated, lied to and basically told you are an idiot then this is the place you want to go to.

Now, if you want to go to a FIAT where they make you feel like you matter and are valuable then go to the studio located in Thousand Oaks. Literally every salesman and finance person will try EVERYTHING in their power to work with you and get you into a new car.

After my disappointment, I elected to drive myself to the Glendale location where I was greeted by a Service Advisor Kristy Green (breath of fresh air) I just drove away issue has been repaired under a half hour, wow! What a difference!!! No hassles!! Thank YOU Kristy at Glendale. She gets all the stars!!!

Very helpful service. I test drove 3 Fiats and the sales rep was very well informed about his cars.

Can it be! A dealership I enjoy going to?!?!!! I love this place! Every time I bring my fiat for service they go above and beyond for me. The only reason Im not changing my car is because I really enjoy having this place as my dealership. I've been through 5 different car brands and dealerships. Thank you Henry and service staff for dealing with my retarded car and always going the extra mile to provide the best customer service I've ever seen at a dealership. Whoever even thought of putting one star for this place should go to the Glendale dealership and then realize what a God sent place this is. The only improvement I would say that needs to worked on is answering calls and keeping customers updated on what's going on.

I REALLY WISH I COULD GIVE THEM LESS THAN 1 STAR!

I will write my full review of this place later, but for the meantime, let me just state one thing:

STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!

In short, at least how it happened to me, they'll approve you, ready the paperwork, get you started on the paperwork, give you some pretty damn good numbers on the car that you actually want, ask for down payment, tell them you still want the car but to give them a bit of time to figure out the ALREADY-ON-PAPER down payment, and then when you call them back to tell them you came up with the CONTRACTUAL DOWN PAYMENT, they tel you, basically, that they mixed up the numbers that they had me already signing and that I would need to come up with DOUBLE the interest (surely for them to pocket) and then tell you that the deal that they had you signing the paperwork was for your Dad, not you.

THIS ALL HAPPENED IN THE COURSE OF A FEW HOURS!

I'll write the exact details later, but since they want to be such a shady place to do business, I'm gonna reserve at least an hour of my day, for the next few days, to keep writing reviews that will shame these guys, maybe until the keep their word and honor the deal, WHICH I HAVE PICTURE PROOF OF.

Oh yeah, about that Jason guy, that says he makes the process so fucking easy and yadda, yadda, I call BULLSHIT on that one. He's the main reason I'm not driving a new car, even after having approval, me signing most of the necessary paperwork, and securing the down payment that they had asked me for.

Lying, deceiving, untruthful, dishonest, shady, swine, etc.

Can't find a disgusting enough word for what these guys did.

(Any lawyers in the house?)

I leased my car from this dealership in 2012, so I've dealt with the previous management being utter crap.  I was hopeful when I saw it was under new management.  They really didn't need to do a whole lot to give a better customer service experience than their predecessors.  Well let me tell you, they failed to make a positive impression.

I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because of my positive interaction with TWO employees, the service mechanic who gave me a ride home after I sold my car back to them, and a sales rep named Mike.

Here is why Van Nuys FIAT gets a 2 star review from me:

I called in to return my car because of a cross-country move at the end of this month.  My plan was to end my lease early by selling my car back to the dealer, and then they would do a dealer buyout for my lease.  After being put on hold for 5 minutes, leaving a message and not getting a call back after waiting a week and a half, I called again and finally spoke to someone, Mike the sales rep, who put me in touch with a Sales Manager.  I work 9-6, Monday - Friday, so I'm not able to just stop by during their business hours without planning it out with my work.

Anyway, I was able to make the appointment to bring my car in on 2/23/15 at 9:00am.  I came in on the 23rd, filled out all the paperwork, sold my car and was driven back to my house by the nicest service mechanic (seemed to be in his 50's maybe 60's).  The Sales Manager who bought my car and filled out all the paperwork was also very nice, and I asked him "So my hands are washed of my leasing agency, lease, and everything?"  His response "Yes, we contact them for you with the paperwork and send them the check for the dealer buyout, and you do not need to do anything on your end."  I was content and happy that I was done with this car, and did not have to pay off the remaining months on my lease. Phew.

THEN..fast forward a few weeks later and whats this? Oh it is my leasing agency withdrawing a payment for the car I don't have anymore.  THEY NEVER SENT THE LEASING AGENCY ANY PAPERWORK.  Someone dropped the ball, and I'm pretty livid about it.  They bought the car from me and sent the leasing agency NOTHING.

So this turned into me calling the dealership today,3/5/15, having them fax over the paperwork that they were SUPPOSE TO FAX the day I sold my car to them (odometer reading and bill of sale), and then me calling back the leasing agency trying to figure it all out.

I was then told I would not be refunded the car payment for my non-existent car until the paperwork that VAN NUYS FIAT FORGOT TO SEND, clears through their system.  The rep at the leasing agency said this could take around 2-3 weeks, which is ridiculous in itself, but also that I would be refunded via a check in the mail, even though they directly withdrawal the amount from my checking account.

All because someone at VAN NUYS FIAT DID NOT DO THEIR JOB CORRECTLY.

COOL STORY BRO.

Better than previous management, for sure.  Then again, a ham sandwich would have done a better job than the previous management. Just writing a review here to let potential buyers know: THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ISN'T OPEN ON WEEKENDS.

Personally, this is a huge problem for me; I'd have to imagine it would be for anyone else out there with a job, too.  Fiat, open on Saturdays already!

Bought a Fiat 500e from this dealership. Spoke with sales person - Michael Passage - before I showed up on a Sunday. Very smooth transaction and I was out of there in less than 3 hours with all paperwork completed. Michael was easy to deal and very different than the typical car salesman. He also took the time explain the features that were unique to an electric. Great experience and highly recommended.

Max B. | 2015-02-05

Great new management. Top class and personal service. Will be back for another car next time around.

Alice H. | 2014-12-29

I recently leased a 500 sport from this dealership, I had a great experience. Everyone was welcoming, understanding and trust worthy. I was very expressed and highly recommend this dealership. And big thank you to them and 5 stars.

I was terribly disappointed with the service I received at Van Nuys Fiat and Maserati.  The used vehicle I was interested in had a 'price mistake' that was only revealed to me once I drove almost an hour to the dealership and was 5 minutes from driving up.  Jaclyn called as I was getting off the freeway to make sure 'we were on the same page because the price was a mistake'.  Umm, NOPE, not on the same page! Having spoken to three different people over 2 days, I didn't think the price was going to be a problem.  Jaclyn, Ryan Annett, and Michael were all amateurs in handling the situation.  The morning I drove down, I was assured the price on their website (also on autotrader.com and cars.com ) was the price I could expect to pay.  Wasting half my day to come see a car they wouldn't sell me at the advertised price was bad enough.  To have three people scam me into coming in and not question the price of the vehicle until I arrive is another thing.  When I showed up, they said I couldn't even drive the car because they hadn't reconditioned it yet (so why did they tell me it was ready for purchase?).  Then they started trying to 'work with me' on the price.  Finally Ryan Annett flat out told me the car wasn't for sale at the listed price.  Ryan, Michael, and Jaclyn are all true amateurs and give The Auto Gallery a bad name.  Awful, awful, awful experience.

My car-leasing experience was fine, and that was before the dealership was sold to a different company.
I will NEVER go back there for any maintenance. The repair staff is incredibly rude. I had to go back 3 times to get my backup camera fixed, and at one point the guy there asked me why I broke my camera. I was not able to get my recall air bag fixed, and when I was waiting to get my car back (after they very begrudgingly gave me a one day rental), someone called to ask me how my car was handling after being fixed.  They did not realize that they still had my car.  And then after this whole mess, a rep from the dealership called EVERY DAY to ask if I was satisfied.  No, I am not satisfied, and am now driving from Van Nuys to Santa Monica to have my car serviced. Good grief.  I am not an idiot and do not need to be chastised when my car does not function as promised.

What an amazing excellent start towards a beautiful Sunday!!
Met that same Michael from before.
He helped me out with a beautiful Maserati Granturismo. Amazing expertise as well from the new Ghibli's. We even went on an additional test drive with those after I already got the GT.
Thanks again!!!

I had a terrible experience at this garage this weekend. I called on Saturday evening to view a car listed on their website and made an appointment with Jaclyn to go at 10.30 the following morning. When we got there we were told she didn't get in until 11 but that they would look for the car. Eventually it turned out that the car was in service and that someone else was coming to buy it later that day.  It wasn't a Fiat so it wasn't like they had other options for me to look at, they just wasted an hour of my time and mislead me on the phone.

I just got a Fiat 500e with the help of Michael Passage over at Van Nuys. He's a great guy, and was straight up with everything. It's a great lease deal, but Mike made sure I knew everything involved, all the costs as well as all the realities of owning an electric vehicle. The car was damn cute from the get-go and Michael made sure to get the color and options I wanted.
I really appreciated his honesty and I left with a great feeling of what I was getting and how it was going to exist with my lifestyle.
So the next day, I went to actually charge for free with no idea how to do it. It was in the morning, and no one was around to help me, so I had no idea what to do because there were three brands of chargers at the same station. Well, Michael happened to call while I was there and walked me through the process, the charging networks, and which chargers were free.
I didn't know about EV etiquette and being a part of charging networks to pay for charges. I thought it was all free, it's not. Luckily Michael called to check on me, and he checked on me two days later to make sure I was happy.
It's only been a week, but I'm very happy with the purchase and the process. Michael Passage was great. I highly recommend him to walk you through the process.

Bait and switch tactics now being used. They advertised a low price for the fiat 500e. $0 down $99 a month. I called and confirmed with the salesman that no other fees had to be paid (title and registration) etc... She said no. I found it hard to believe but I went there anyways.

My initial instinct was correct. They added so many extra fees that the car was more expensive than the last fiat 500e I bought. The $0 down turned into $1800 down.

The $99 a month turned into $135 a month. I asked for an explanation and none could be given. TAXES they told me. I pointed out that they dont equal $35 a month but they just said nothing. They would not budge on the price at all. Im not sure what happened to this dealership. First fiat I bought from them 4 months ago was smooth and easy. Now the dealership is turning into something completely different.

Michael Robertson is a really great guy! Answered all my questions, wasn't pushy, super helpful and I never felt pressured. The finance team was also INCREDIBLY helpful and helped me save money on my gap insurance which is always a plus. Great team and great experience. I sort of wish my car had been cleaned a little better-there were stains on the leather steering wheel and then I cut myself on some tearing metal on the outside handle-but I'm sure if I called them they would take care of things.

Libor M. | 2014-10-28

After having an awful experience with Santa Monica Fiat, I was psyched to bounce back with Fiat of Van Nuys. Daniel Ryan is a great salesman -- knowledgable, helpful, funny, and NOT pushy. He got me the car I wanted, and showed me every feature of the vehicle. I got a good deal, and Daniel has already followed up with an e-mail full of useful links. Great guy; great dealership.

Alex O. | 2014-10-19

Come in and ask for Michael.  Best customer service we have experienced at any dealership.

Marina C. | 2014-10-19

Well, first of all when we came to the dealership no one bothered to at least offer us help, even though there was plenty of staff standing and sitting around. After wondering around the place for a few minutes I had to ask one of the sales people if he could help us. I believe his name was Anthony. He made us wait for a few minutes more before approaching us. We were looking for a specific car and a specific deal that Fiat was having at the time. When we told him what we were looking for, he seemed irritated by our request and sort of brushed us off on anything we would ask him. He was extremely rude and it seemed like he felt that every question that we asked was just stupid. He showed completely no interest in helping us in any way whatsoever and was simply the worst sales person I've ever encountered in my life. We left the dealership after no more than 5 minutes of conversation with this horrible sales person. This was by far the worst dealership experience that one could imagine. I don't even understand how this place sells any cars with this kind of attitude of its employees and lack of any customer service or just simply people's skills.

I went home yesterday with a 2015 500e from Van Nuys Fiat and I could not be happier.  My salesman Daniel was fun, helpful, knowledgeable and did everything he could to make sure I had an awesome experience.  I recommend Daniel to anyone who is interested in purchasing/leasing a Fiat.

In 2012 I purchased (not leased) an Abarth from this location - different dealer, but at the time Michael Passage was working there.  I got excellent service from him, which is the reason I bought another car today - different ownership and they are terrific!  Michael Passage is just awesome, he is a wonderful guy to deal with.  Everyone was really helpful at this newly redone dealership - I was really upset when the prior owners let it go, I loved the personal service.  The great news is that it is back - and so are my favorite people.  Michael introduced me to his working partner my sales rep Daniel Ryan, who was great to work with and took great care of me! He helped me sort out the lease options well and he was a delight to work with.  I leased a 500e and I'm trying out this vehicle to use as a commuter so I can keep my Abarth for driving fun. I also had a great experience with finance with Russ Kabrins who was quick and easy with all the paperwork. I am SO THRILLED with my 500s, they are such fun to drive, and they are perfect vehicles for Los Angeles.  So now I have 2 500s  in the garage - the hot rod and the plug and play versions!  Thanks Michael and Daniel for being there with such great service and products!  I love my Fiat 500s, they make driving so enjoyable and they are wonderful cars.  And I love all the new life friends I have made through these cars.  Friends for life!  I feel great I have an electric now to play with and I was already happy with the mileage I am getting on my Abarth.

Lorenzo B. | 2014-09-23

Ok this is not the same guys running the Fiat of Van Nuys as of May 2014...
So to be fair- I want to review my experience today at Fiat of VN.

Jason one of the new sales guys went out of his way to help me with questions in my lease..even though I purchased the my Fiat there, my lease information is with the old bank(Ally) Ivanna was very kind to call them up and find out my balance and other pertinent information. Jason then explained to me that I could turn in my car with them and what the cost would be...I appreciate the straight talk

I added another star because of the service manager Henry Gasrjalian. After my Oil change, which is free under my maintenance...He told me that there was a nail in my front tire..I told him that this is my wife's car and it has to be be replaced...He said it was going to be $150...which is not a problem....just need to make sure that the car is safe for my wife...After they replaced the tire, he told me that it was free and I did not have to pay for it. I did not see that coming....So, I went it giving them only 2 stars and left giving the new Fiat of Van Nuys 4 starts....I reserve the last star until I experience the trade in process for a newer Fiat...but I did notice a way better atmosphere and way less shady people workng there.

Susan N. | 2014-09-17

Great experience working with Michael Passage and his FIAT team! He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and I never felt any pressure to make any decisions before I was ready. 5 stars!

Dale F. | 2014-09-09

We met our very knowledgeable salesperson Michael Passage yesterday.  We weren't sure which color we wanted so we came back today to purchase the black 500e today and Michael promptly emailed us that his colleagues will be available to take care of us.  Another Michael was there to help us,  Michael Robertson.  He gave a 'Zen' like quality to learning more about the car.

They accommodated our schedules despite us having to take a break from the sales process to take our daughter to her running practice.  We came back and ultimately agreed on an amiable price for the lease payment as well as a workable value for our trade-in.

NOTE: One thing I noticed that I wished I have seen earlier was their "Van Nuys SAF" fee (Safety & Security Fee) listed on the sales agreement.  We had signed off on the purchase offer already and I didn't notice it until we got to speak to Russ their finance guy who kindly went over the sales agreement with us.  Thank God he did, or I would have blew my top off after we left the lot and finding later about it.  I have a business myself and I understand trying to keep a good profit margin but all i have to say is BUYER BEWARE.  They were happy to tell us about the "Safety & Security Features" but they didn't mention these were actually dealer-add-ons.  This is just a reminder to everyone to ALWAYS remember to watch the small print on the purchase agreement.  Guess what the Safety & Security Features were? Wheel lug nut locks, nitrogen gas in tires, and a 'strobe' 3rd brake light.  I won't post any numbers here, but  I"ll leave it up to you to find the true value of these 'features' and the price they tacked onto the car.

I am still giving them 5 stars.  i don't blame anyone else except for myself for not catching this.  I was ready to walk away from this deal right before signing the sales agreement. Considering Michael R. and the manager Frank R. were very accommodating during the sales process, and Russ the finance specialist had detailed explanations,  I ultimately let it go. They have to find their profit margin somewhere I guess.  I just ask you to double-check the 'dealer add-on' fees that you might consider over-valued (or don't even need). The final lease payment was close to TrueCar.com's numbers.

Jasmine Donaldson was extremely sweet and helpful in helping me decide on my new car. She was very knowledgeable and patient in showing my boyfriend and I several cars.
I finally ended up with a 2014 Fiat Abarth!!!
She was able to work with my proposed finance breakdown and I was able to walk away with my car, same day! She even brought down the price, since it was Labor Day Weekend. I also had a Geico/Truecar.com coupon she made valid for me.
I really didn't intend of finding a car so quickly, but she made the process so painless. Very different from my first car buying experience a few years ago.

Thank you Van Nuys Fiat!
Thank you Jasmine!

My wife purchased a 500 SPORT Verde Chiaro March last year from FIAT Studio Sales, Michael Passage.  A few months later, my wife noticed pinging noises coming from the engine bay, as well as complete loss of power when driving.  We brought it in to have the Service guys run a complete diagnostics test, and while waiting, a super clean Rosso Brilliante ABARTH began seducing me like the commercial - it was Romanian model, Catrinel Menghia slapping me for attention... 3 hours later, we traded the Sport for the privilege of the Scorpion badge!

Buying the SPORT, then trading it in for the ABARTH was the best decision we made when it comes to our car-shopping experience.  NO regrets AT ALL!!  We love our ABARTH, and we love the service and client care we've received from Michael Passage.  Since then, we've kept in touch with Michael, joined some FIAT forums (Warning: very dangerous and addicting!), and participated with Michael and a local group of ABARTH owners to a FIAT event in Palm Springs.

Because my wife and I constantly fight over the ABARTH, whether to work or on an errand run, we're seriously contemplating on hitting up Michael on buying another ABARTH for myself!!  And the best part is: wifey is in agreement & she approves =)

ABARTH:  5 stars
CUSTOMER/CLIENT SERVICE:  5 stars
PARTS & SERVICE:  3.5 stars

Ciao!

I leased my first Fiat 500e 3 days ago. As I walked into the dealership I was greeted by an enthusiastic employee, Marlin Harrington. His energy perked me up more than the iced coffee in my hand. I knew the the car that I wanted as I researched months before hand. We went out for a quick test drive and I was sold. We proceeded with the paperwork shortly after. Marlin was not only knowledgeable, but also compassionate which made this process seamless. The customer service from everyone at this location was superb as they went above an beyond to get me driving home a car. Since I had driven  there alone in a rental I had no way of driving 2 cars back home. Marlin and another employee followed me home back home to West Hollywood driving my new wheels. Now that's what I call service!!! A++++ all around!!

While comparing Hybrids to Electrics, I wandered into Van Nuys Fiat to check out the 500e in person. I fell in love with the drive, the savings over gas, and the great team of Jason, Perry, Michael Passage, and Daniel Ryan.   Michael was first up and spent TWO long visits and test drives (needed to bring my husband back to see if he could fit). Michael even hopped (ok, maybe not hopped) in the back WITH my husband for one test drive to really prove that if needed I could get 2 over 6 foot tall adult men in the back seat - (providing proof and lots of laughter).

Signing the paperwork now and am SO excited!

I purchased a 2015 500e from Daniel Ryan a few days ago and he was wonderful to deal with!  He always was pleasant, kind, reliable and very easy to deal with.  He thoroughly answered all of my questions, even after the sale was completed.  The whole process was painless.  I'm happy with the price I paid.  Everyone else I dealt with there - the General Manager, the Finance Manager and some of the other sales reps - were wonderful too.  Van Nuys Fiat has the best selection too.  Daniel can be reached on his cell phone at 714-293-7499.

I have been shopping for the best deal for an all new 2015 Abarth and I ended up with Michael Passage, Jason Frieder and Frank in finance at the new Van Nuys Fiat. WHY? Because of the good reviews and the Abarth knowledge from Michael Passage, he drives a beautiful satin pearl white with the Dutch flag and orange mirror caps, he is not the typical sales person, he is an advisor and no pressure at all, he even convinced me to go from a more expensive cabriolet to a hatchback and for that fact I give him and the Fiat Studio a 5 star rating,  they will earn my business when I come back to get my Alfa Romeo 4C, thank you Van Nuys Fiat! !!!

Lydia C. | 2014-08-18

I have had nothing but an amazing experience  at the Van Nuys Fiat dealership.   I first purchased my first Fiat downtown LA, I liked it so much and had such a wonderful experience with my sales specialist Michael Passage I went back and bought another, then sent two of my friends to buy one.  Over the past two years since My purchase I've built a genuine friendship with Michael, and I have followed him to the Van Nuys Fiat.

Anytime I have an issue or a question regarding my car, Michael is always available to help me out, even though I bought my car two years ago, he still makes me feel special and valued. I had an issue with a broken latch on my car seat and  I was again blown away with the outstanding customer service at the Van Nuys Fiat service department.   I called and spoke with a Brenda Elizondo, who looked into my matter and with in the hour followed up via email as she promise to inform me that she had gotten the approval of her Manager Henery to replace the part at no cost, as I was a repeat customer.  When I brought my car in they  did a complimentary inspection to make sure there were no other problems , and also replaced a couple of other things that were covered under my warranty and gave me a car wash.

I usually don't Yelp, but I wanted to take the time to show my appreciation, as they left me feeling like a super satisfied customer, I would recommend if you want a great car buying experience or need to take your Fiat to be serviced that you go to Van Nuys Fiat. They really take care of you and make you feel appreciated.

Buying a new car can be so stressful. I can not tell you how many times I have walked out of a dealer because of the ridiculous games they like to play.

So with that said what I can tell you is this. Van Nuys Fiat is not one of those dealers.
I was in the market for a new 2015 Abarth and started searching for what I wanted online and sending in requests for pricing and more information. I sent out requests and got prices with responses from seven dealers across So Cal and one in Las Vegas.
I also checked Phoenix Metro dealers, but none had any 2015 Abarth's yet.

So as I started to go back and forth and negotiate prices with these dealers, and one sales rep at one dealer, kept standing out from the rest.

Michael Passage from Van Nuys Fiat.
He was quick to respond to my initial request for information and he was very professional, very knowledgeable on the Abarth, and accommodating. He even responded back to my questions after the dealers normal business hours. He was always polite, never tried to pressure me or pester me, or blow smoke up my you know what, just to get me in the door.

Now I have to tell you that I really like to negotiate. I can also be pretty difficult when I do so. I want a fair deal, not an impossible one, but a fair one none the less.
Michael Passage hung in there and worked with me throughout the entire process. He always came back with his best effort to keep the negotiations moving forward and I felt that he was always sincere in his effort in doing so.

Bottom line here is simple. I will not purchase a vehicle from a dealer that I do not like or do not trust. No matter how good the deal is, it just wont happen.
I am old school and I believe that a dealer should earn your business, not expect it.

Well Van Nuys Fiat did just that. They earned my business and most importantly my trust.

So I flew into So Cal, Michael Passage picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the dealer to do the paper work and pickup the Abarth.
I got to say the Michael Passage was a great sales Rep, but I also have to tell you that Perry, Ryan, and Frank where also a great bunch of guys that all helped make this deal come together and happen.
Heck not only did they give me a great deal on a new 2015 Abarth but they even bought me an awesome lunch while I was waiting for the paper work to be finished as well.

Thanks Guys for a truly great, and professional car buying experience.

This dealership has a very helpful employee named Courtney Brown who guided me throughout my entire process of leasing a 500e.  She's a hipster-looking woman who put everything in plain terms for me and gave me honest answers to all my questions.
If you're looking to buy/lease a Fiat, my advice is to walk in here and ignore everybody until you talk to Ms. Brown.

I came here for a kiisfm event to try to win a fiat! The employees were friendly and wanted us to explore the fiats and even let us test drive them! I didn't have a chance since I had to rush back to work. There was a light complimentary breakfast provided by coffee bean with bagels and an assortment of muffins and other pastries. Those were so delicious and they handed out coupons as well! I was one in 41 to try and win the fiat but another girl won. It was nerve wracking but a very fun event!

I've had my Fiat for just over a year, and a few weeks ago she started making a strange noise.  I couldn't tell if it was a "normal car" noise or a "something to be concerned about" noise; but when it got louder a few days ago it firmly moved into the latter category.  I called Van Nuys Fiat late Monday afternoon and was told I could drop her off Tuesday at 8:00 and they'd check it out while I was at work. When I went back a few hours later not only had they diagnosed and fixed the problem (which was under warranty, thank goodness) but they had also put air in all my tires, done a full inspection and washed it!

A big thank you to Henry and his team for getting me and my baby back on the road quickly!

Great Experience at Fiat of Van Nuys!
All car buying experiences should be this great!
Last Sunday we were headed to Van Nuys Fiat. We called ahead to see if Daniel Ryan was working as we had read great reviews about him.  He did not disappoint!!! When we arrived he has already pulled a 500e out ready for us to test drive.   Daniel was extremely helpful and personable.  He was very helpful and accommodating and gave us all the ins and outs of the 500e.  Daniel took extremely good care of us and showed us all the options we were interested in.  He never rushed us through the process and took his time answering all our questions.  Barely an hour later we had reached a deal and now we are the happy owners of a 500e.  Daniel helped us complete all the rebate paperwork related to electric cars and informed us of all the electric car incentives available.  Daniel Ryan and Van Nuys  Fiat were a pleasure to deal with! If you are in the market for a Fiat, do yourself a favor and head to Van Nuys Fiat and ask for Daniel.
You will be well taken care of and get a great deal on a Fiat!

I definitely recommend this place! Mike, Jason and Russ provided us with excellent service! They were friendly, easy-going, and willing to work with our budget.

Sometimes you encounter places that try to sell you anything and everything under the sun and I appreciate that this team was genuine and considerate of what would benefit us vs. what would benefit them.

They really cater to their customers and make you feel comfortable along the way. If you're looking for a dealer that is willing to work with you...THIS IS IT!!

I did a lot of research before I purchased my Fiat.

I honestly wasn't sure which one I wanted... I contacted a lot of dealerships.  I even visited a couple of them Most of them got back to me via email - but one salesman stood out - Daniel Ryan.  Daniel's emails were very well written - which impressed me.

I'm very busy with work - and Daniel had a way of staying in contact without pushing or being intrusive.   Today I had the opportunity to meet him.

Again, I wasn't sure which model I wanted so Daniel had three different models waiting for me.  I test drove all three - decided which one I wanted (I went with the electric - a surprise even to myself).

Daniel worked up a great proposal for me - worked with his manager Jason to refine it and we made a deal.  They needed to find the car I wanted on another lot which they did - and I was still able to pick it up today.

Getting a good deal on a car can be a challenge - finding someone who makes it painless - and just a bit fun - is rare.

I have been car hunting for over a year now trying to find a vehicle that fits me. And I was settling at the end a mini cooper countryman but when my friend told me to check out the fiats because her brother got one that was a 500c, she said there are also the new 4 door fiat as well.
So just last week,on a day off in
car hunting, and in the end no hope, she took me to the Fiat Van Nuys dealership. A really friendly looking girl came out introduced herself by the name of Rosy helped me on my car hunting. She would say: "pick which ever you like to drive because its your car." It was nice for her to say that because I didn't think I would even leave with a new car vehicle.
Her and her team gave me a comfortable, no worry/ no matter what, we will help you along the way feeling. They were able to give me a great rebate, and a financed car with a similar payments if I were to get a lease. I left there with a Fiat 500L that had better features than the car I was settling for.
I am glad for Rosy and the Fiat team who was patience on my decision to help me get my car. :) Thanks I will surely recommend this Dealership and ask for Rosy Zuniga she's a very sincere / pleasant lady!

The Van Nuys Fiat dealer is new and thank goodness for that!

I went in last week because my 3 yr. old 500 had a continual seat problem that wasn't addressed properly by the original dealer 2 yrs ago. (I had been given the run-around several times with other problems in the first 2 yrs, even going to the regional dealership without success. I could never get anyone on the phone, nor would they return my calls if I could leave a message. While I took it in under warranty, by the time they diagnosed the problem, it was out of warranty and they wouldn't honor it. Then they claimed not to have the paperwork).

So I was glad to hear someone else took it over. Today I got a call that the seat cable was in and it was properly fixed and they went out of their way to make it a good experience. See Brenda when you go in. She is young but experienced and will do what she can to help you. I never got the name of the young man working with her, but he did a great job as well.

Thank you to all!

p.s. If they had made the electric fiat 500 in 2012 I would have gotten one instead of gasoline engine.    ;0(

Plug it in!!! Purchased a 500e fully electric fiat today and left the dealership with a comfortable monthly payment without taking the perks away! Courtney our sales rep was not only knowledgeable on the vehicle but always provided a smile during our entire process. The customer experience from mngt to the finance team was top tier and I will definitely refer friends and family!! Great start for being open only a few short months!! Thanks fiat family!

It was the easiest time I've ever had buying a car. Rosy was great from the start and the rest of the people I dealt with, Jason and Russ were just so professional. And Russ was really helpful in sorting out the DMV hiccup I had.
Thanks,
Robin Lemesurier.

I worked with Michael passage in purchasing my fiancé a fiat 500c. He was very knowledgeable about all fiat models and wasn't a typical pushy salesman. I felt he helped us as best as he possibly could and would do the same for any of his clients. He even followed up with us to check in a few months down the road.

Tim S. | 2014-07-07

I went in to check out the new 500e all-electric Fiat. I left having ordered the exact version of that car that I wanted and following its delivery to my house, thanks to the wonderful Michael Passage, I never have to go to a gas station again! (unless I want a snack or lottery tickets, haha).

Michael & Tony Solano were very helpful and knowledgeable about the electric car and all the benefits (for lease, $7,500 tax incentive applied towards your down payment and $2,500 cash rebate from California!) and incentives (a great warranty on the battery & 12 days a year of free rental car for longer road trips!).

Having just watched the movie Grand Budapest Hotel the day before my car arrived at my house, I decided to name it Pinky Bandinski after a character from the movie that is short in stature, but has lots of fervor and spirit. I even tweeted to the actor that plays the role and he approved! haha

All in all, for those of us looking in the more reasonably priced range for a car, the Fiat 500e is simply a fantastic way to step into the bright new EV future!

I came here for a trade in, and the transaction was flawless. Michael Passage helped with everything, and he made it really easy. I would definitely recommend anyone to check the lot out as they have a lot more options than other places.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael Passage at another dealership where he worked when I bought my daughter her Fiat 500.  Michael made the paperwork, the negotiation and the delivery an absolute pleasure.  I will follow him to VN Fiat and continue to work with him when I get my next car.  Michael is a five star salesman!

Les B. | 2014-06-28

I took my girlfriend to Fiat of Van Nuys on the only day off she had last week...unfortunately the salesman who I wanted to deal with was off that day (M Passage) so instead of making us wait another week before we could see the car that she wanted to test drive...the salesman, Michael Passage drove to the dealership on his DAY OFF to take her for test rides...show her different options and pretty much spent 2 1/2 to 3 hours with her...as she is still undecided if she wants to go Mini C or Fiat...she WILL buy through Fiat Of Van Nuys...we had a phenomenal experience with this dealership...

I had excellent service here. All the employees were very nice and willing to help out in everything. We bought the car on the spot. Now, I'm driving it and I'm happy with what I purchased.
