Purchased a 2008 Mini Cooper S last week from Val and I could not be happier. I first went for another mini and saw he had about 7-9 minis and I feel in love with the red one. Had to negotiate a bit since it was over my budget but felt like a got a good deal. It's always hard being a women and going into a dealership but specially a used car dealership. I wanted to wait a week before I wrote a review make sure I had no problems with the car. He did set me up with some warrant for an extra $100 thought that was nice of him I know they can run a few hundred.  I would defiantly recommend Val if your looking to buy a used car.

I have to conclude after purchasing vehicles from multiple dealerships in California and Hawaii, that Val is not an honest dealer.

Don't get me wrong, I love the car I purchased of the lot. But as soon I took it home it started having issues. I called Val about the battery, the car would not start after I turned it off, and it turned out the battery was bad. He said he'd give me a new one. Never happened. So, I had to purchase it. It was burning oil, badly. I took it to Val and showed him. He said that was normal. I had it checked out by a mechanic and they said it had a crack in the oil gasket. I told Val this, and he said my mechanic was just trying to get money from me and that he was wrong. (My mechanic was my brother in law.) Val said the smell of burning oil was NORMAL. In the end, I paid for the repairs.

Do not come here.

Last week I helped my mom purchase a BMW from Val and I can honestly say It was the easiest transaction I have ever had purchasing a car.

The owners name is Val, I spoke to him over the phone and like most places just said come in and I will take care of you. I was hesitant because that a trap 99% of the time. Val did not play any games from the moment we walked in until we left. The car was in perfect shape with low miles just as it was described in the add. He gave us room and at not point was pushy. It was almost like he was so confident in the car he didn't have to do any selling. We test drove the car and took it to our trusted mechanic. Came back asked for a little discount and he was pretty firm with the price but did decide to give us a little break.

If you are looking to buy a car from I can honestly say you're in good hands, it least that was the case for me. I did read some of the reviews and was a little nervous at first but Val was a great guy.

Not only is Valer M. of Val Motors  the worst car dealership I have ever seen in my life, everything he wrote in his response to my yelp review is a lie.

All you have to do is read what others have written and go visit this con-man, he is the worst, his deals suck, his attitude is the most unprofessional you will ever come across. Just go there and see for yourself and then buy from anyone else, there can be no one worse then Valer M. of Val Motors. He is the worst dealership you will ever visit and his cars are extremely overpriced, they look good, but I have high reservations to the quality of his product since the quality of the owner is soooooo low, he feels he can treat people poorly and get away with it, I promise once you go there you will leave without buying a car after he yells at you, insults you and curses at you for not doing what he wants you to do and he will never listen to what you have to say or even let you talk for that matter.

The owner was very friendly, the cars appeared to be in pretty good condition, and the prices were just a bit over what they should have been.

Unfortunately, there was a disagreement about whether or not the owner would go along with me on the test drive and the inspection by my mechanic.  I didn't feel comfortable with him watching me while I tested and played with every button nor partaking in the conversation with my trusted mechanic, so in the end I decided to look elsewhere.  Just me being weird probably -- many dealers have this same policy.

For the non-weirdos out there, I'd recommend giving the place a shot -- or at least not writing them off completely due to the other 1-star reviews.  The cosmetic condition of the cars was better than most other used car lots I've visited and the place felt the least sleazy of all the dealerships in Studio City.

I would not recommend this business to ANYONE I cared about. I do not know exactly what happened, but I know my friend/teammate's life was put in danger. She paid a large amount of cash for a 2005 VW Jetta, paid everything cash, only to find out the transmission was slipping on her way home. It was her first car purchase as well, and he was extremely rude about handling everything, very unprofessional. The trunk was also broken, and wouldn't shut all the way, popping open randomly while driving. He told her to "keep driving" and that everything was okay and it wasn't a serious problem. I had to pick her up an hour away because he said that there would be a rental car ready upon getting it fixed, and there was not. On the way there the transmission slipped and she was stuck going 20mph on the 101 towards Hollywood. She feared for her life as traffic was flowing rapidly. He made it seem as though she was overreacting. On top of all of this, trying to get it fixed was a hassle. He claimed that the warranty was not activated yet. He kept changing his story about how and when it was going to get fixed. Eventually she grew tired of driving back and forth, wasting her time and money trying to get the car fixed. He continued to be very rude and would not let her finish a sentence, constantly talking over her and our other friend who was present as well. He even went as far as to say "This is all your fault!" when a friend of his stopped by the lot and had to leave because he needed to deal with her. Once again, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. She got her money back and lost $500 due to a "cancellation" fee. She is still currently waiting for her $446 warranty refund. If she doesn't get that, she will be taking him to small claims court and suing him for that fee, the cancellation fee, and everything else that he tried to get her for. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A RELIABLE CAR or an honest salesman. You won't find it.

I have never met a more rude car dealer! They have some nice cars on the lot, but but they ask too much as much as 4k over blue book. The owner, Val, was very nice in a fake way at first, and then became very rude once we asked about the over priced cars. Definitely not a good experience.
