I would buy a Porsche from this dealership just to go to their service department. It is by far and without question the BEST service department of any dealership for any car brand I've ever been (this includes Honda, Toyota, Acura, BMW, Audi, Porsche, and Lexus). Viki Carbone, the service manager, is completely honest and scrupulous to a fault. Ana Pacheco is also fantastic. There is absolutely no comparison between this service department and that at ANY of the other Porsche dealerships in the area. For the dealership on a whole, I've found their sales staff to be fair and trustworthy. The newly renovated floorspace is awesome!

I brought in for service my 2014 Cayenne Diesel Platinum edition last week and Ana Pacheco was very professional and detail oriented.

She also gave to me a brand new Porsche Panamera as courtesy car for the 4 days period that my car had to stay at their garage.

My Cayenne was having an annoying pressure issue with its 21" rear wheel. Luckily I had an insurance coverage specifically for this kind of problems from the moment I purchased the car last May. I was hesitant back then about buying a $2500 insurance coverage for a five years period, but now I'm happy that I followed the suggestion that Victor, the Porsche of downtown LA manager gave me when I got the car. Overall, all the times I dealt with Porsche of Downtown LA personnel in sales and in service I had a very positive experience.

Absolute pleasure to buy from this dealership.Was turned off by Mc Kennas Porsche sales person and called DTLAP same day and spoke to Gene Miu there and was greeted there by her,we test drove a 2015 Cayenne S and a 2015 Macan Turbo and loved them both but the Macan won in the end thanks to my insistence.Picked up the car on Thanksgiving morning all gassed up and detailed.Got a great deal and above all Gene and her manager Keni Huang's customer skills are well above everybody else's.Will return here for future Porsche purchases.Very painless buying experience.

5 STARS isn't enough for the service I received at this Porche Dealership!  From the first inquiry I made online, I got an immediate response from Elvis.  I made an appt. to see the car, and I had planned on going to 3 more places to look at cars.  Elvis was sincere and engaging, not like the " Typical" Car Salesman!  Which was a great relief!  His business partner Jonathan, who sits in the same office also contributed to helping me feel comfortable.  There was no sales hype and push, just good old facts and information about the car.  After they gave me all the answers I was looking for, they gave me the car I was looking for at the very best price I could find!  They brought their manager Keni into our conversation, and again I was amazed at the sincerity and respect they gave me in making my own decision.  I purchased the car and sat down with the account manager, Gerald, to do the paperwork, and even he was personal and helpful and offered guidance.  This has been THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER OF BUYING A CAR!  From beginning to end!  I'm so glad I didn't go somewhere else to purchase my Porche.  If you're looking for a Porche, these are the guys to deal with!

Recently purchased a certified pre-owned Carrera S from Jonathan Arvatz.  I originally sent an email inquiry on an advertised car and Jonathan called to answer my questions.  After clearing up a few details about the car we discussed the sales price.  I told Jonathan where I needed to be and he countered with a very competitive price.  At that point I decided I needed to see the car in person so I made the 100 mile trip to the dealership.  I met Jonathan upon arrival, saw the car and went for a test drive.  I liked the car but there were a couple items that needed to be corrected before I would close the deal.  Jonathan quickly agreed to make the car "perfect".  I purchased the car that day and drove the car home.  I returned a week later to have the items corrected and Jonathan meticulously documented my concerns and provided a loaner vehicle.  Four days later I picked up the car and it was perfect per our agreement.  This was one of the easiest auto purchases I've made.  I ultimately received a beautiful car that met my needs.  My dealings with Jonathan were direct, professional and prompt.  I think I got a fair deal and to date, I couldn't be happier with the car.

Here is my story even I think this dealer ship wouldn't care too much about reviews on here. I wanted to buy a brand new v6 cayenne from here so I got contact by the guy called Jonathan. He was very helpful at that time and we agreed on one car then I went to the dealership to put down a deposit in order to get the car. Then bad things happened,  THEY JUST Disappeared! ! What the hack of a dealership disappeared from its customer after he put down a deposit? So I startef to call the salesman everyday, left messages and so for one week later they finally picked up my call and said the manager wants to talk to me, fine, we had a conversation about whether I wanted to export this car. As a panamera owner and us resident, I said no. The manager said ok we will get back to you shortly and then they disappeared AGAIN! ! I then tried to reach them in order to get my monry back cuz I dont want the car anymore from them,  for about another week, they agree to refund my own money. Then guss what happened? Yeah right theu disappeared again. For about another three weeks later, I finally lost my patients and went to them face to face. The point is, if you dont want do sell me the car, just tell me and give my money back. This whole process is just a waste of time and lots of frustration. I own a porsche and I believe I am not buying a 1997 honda from them,  this place is just a waste and full of racism, if you are a person consider buy a porsche from this place and you are not white, think about my review and also read others, there is one Korean couple got treated pretty bad and left a review here also. Nightmare experience from this horrible place!

Purchased my first Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition from downtown motors and my experience was excellent. Bahman, my sales agent and Victor, the general manager made the process quick and painless. These guys worked hard to get the max value of my trade in and I was very happy with that. The level of professionalism and customer service were superior. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. This dealership is also one of the largest in the nation so they have a lot of models on the lot. I highly recommend this dealership!!

Purchased a 2014 911 a couple of weeks ago.  Salesman Bahman Afshin and General Sales Manager Victor Ghassemi were both a pleasure to work with.  Negotiated a fair price with no petty haggling.  We finalized the purchase after the dealership had closed for the day, but both Bahman and Victor made sure arrangements were set up for a full detail of the car and I received follow up calls asking me if there was anything they could do make sure I remained a satisfied customer.

I have previously purchased two other Porsches from the Pasadena dealership.  The buying experience at this DTLA dealer was superior in every way.

My wife and I are traveling across the country from North Carolina to California and back in our 2012 Porsche 911.  About 40 miles from Los Angeles, we experienced a loud noise in the car that made us think all hell was breaking loose.  I called Porsche of Downtown LA on a Saturday morning and spoke with Service Advisor Irwin Merida.  I explained my noise and my predicament.  He said to come in, and he would take care of me.  Irwin was terrific.  The service technician found a stone had gotten lodged under the car and was causing the loud noise.  Irwin also noted there was a minor campaign on the car and had that taken care of.  He had his tech do a inspection of the car, check the fluids and check the air pressure in the tires -- plus he had them wash the car.  Everything was done in a reasonable amount of time.  Irwin talked to me during my wait to give me a progress report.  Irwin Merida and Porsche of Downtown LA couldn't have done a better job.  They were terrific.  They got me back on the road in my Porsche for my 3,000-mile return home.  I couldn't have asked for them to have taken care of me any better than they did.  I just wish they were located in North Carolina!

To Whom This May Concern,

My 2010 Panamera Turbo's oil pump shattered, for an unknown reason. I was not driving at speed and I have always kept up on scheduled maintenance. I was merely driving 15 mph, in heavy traffic. The pieces destroyed the engine, camshaft and crankcase. My warranty was up and I was at a loss as to how I was going to pay to replace all the damaged parts and labor.

The entire service department jumped on this, quickly and truly displayed a genuine, sincere concern for my dilemma! Service man, Irwin initially assisted me, and brought in the service manager, Vicki to help out. Vicki, notified Porsche of North America of the problem and requested assistance from the, POA Good Will Program. After literally fighting for my cause, Vicki was able to convince POA to cover the entire cost of parts and labor!!! They even provided me with a new Diesel Cayenne loan vehicle! I suspect that being a loyal customer, and having developed more than a customer/serviceman relationship, with the entire staff there didn't hurt my case.

The entire staff is just that kind and considerate! Words cannot describe how truly grateful I am to Vicki, Irwin and the entire Service Department, including the awesome mechanic who usually works on my car there, (Apologies, his name escapes me...)
Porsche of Downtown is a, 'Top Shelf' Dealership! In today's world of mediocrity, entitlement and simply down right non-caring people, the folks there truly go out of their way for you. I highly recommend their service!

I've always been a Mercedes owner and just purchased my first Porsche from DTLA.  First of all, their advertised internet pricing was most aggressive out of all certified pre-owned.  During my purchase, Victor (GM of the dealer) did not try to nickel and dime me on the negotiation.  I just had couple of bad experiences in the past where the Mercedes dealer made it so difficult on me for around $500.00.  Victor and Ezequiel both made it painless and quick for me to purchase.  Out of the 10 cars I've purchased in the past, Porsche DTLA was the fairest and painless car buying experience I've ever had.

When I was looking to order a 2014 Boxster I sent out emails to all the Porsche dealers within 200 miles of me. I received some good offers, some OK ones, some terrible ones, but none better than Porsche of DTLA. I received a response from Jonathan that surprised me. His response to my offer was "let's get this car ordered!" There was no haggling or back and forth BS you would normally have to go through to get the best deal. Needless to say I placed my ordered with Jonathan. We did everything over the phone and via email. I signed all the papers and discussed all my issues with him over the phone. Mind you, I never set foot at this dealership until my car arrived for pick up. This was the smoothest transaction I've ever experienced with buying a car. I always recommend Jonathan to anyone looking to buy a Porsche.

I've dealt with a lot of car dealerships over the years, but Porsche of Downtown LA is by far the best. Every time I email Vicki asking to bring my Cayenne in, she responds instantly and lets me bring it in that day. And the loaner cars are awesome!! I am always sad when my car is ready and I have to return the loaner....never had this feeling anywhere else. And my car looks brand new when I get it back...best inside/outside car wash you'll ever get!

I have been for the past month of madness in my life been trying to figure out which Porsche I Wish to Buy. I would eMail a specific Dealership and not ever hear back, sometimes a week or two, or three or four days COUGH -=CIRCLE PORSCHE=- COUGH, after if appeared to me that Porsche of, don't laugh at me too hard, Bakersfield wouldn't play ball.
Just out of the blue I remember talking to someone from Porsche of DTLA and sent them a message.  From that instant on I was being taken care of like I was the Duke or Earl.  When someone had to leave for the day or had the weekend off then promptly notified me of the change in command which impressed me.  Rarely in this day in age do I ever get a message in changing of the guard; but with these folks they are ONE THE BALL for sure.  That is why I was so surprised.  At that time a few months ago I was looking at the 50 Anniversary Model.  But what I realized, in just about ever time I configured a new (991) 911 on the Porsche Configurator, 991 is the new internal numbering specification for the new Porsche so they can keep their own Porsches straight I could very easily go ahead with the last model years 997.2 Turbo, again different internal number - you have an old Porsche before these brand new ones they are called 997.2.

But back to the basics, any time I changed my mind on the 50th Anniversary edition or for what ever I needed this team was on  their toes and ready to go.  They have a great team down there and it's a blessing to because that is a very, very hard job to do - assembling a -KICK ASS- team of people watching over the the customers interest from the Internet or the Phone can be very, very difficult and I know too.  I use to work for IBM at at&T doing boot-on-ground tech support years ago and the scale of at&t was much larger, it's still the same.

The following people need to be recognized for their effort and prompt response to all my inquiries, and who ever else inquired.  Kudos to the following:

Bottomline:  I had a great experience ordering my new 2014 Cayman S from Tony and got a great deal from Tony and Victor.

Pros:  Tony was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful.  I went in having done my research and knowing which options I wanted, and Tony was very accommodating in finding a combination of vehicles so that I could see each option in person.  This was extremely helpful in making my final decision on options because
seeing/touching/playing with the different gadgets in person is a far more detailed and informative experience than just using Porsche's online configurator.

Tony was kind enough to offer me and my brother bottled water and to have cars brought down to the 1st level lobby area so that we could stay in the air-conditioned lobby (we were both in suits, coming from work, and it was about 90 degrees that day).

Dealing with Tony and Victor was zero-stress, and both were very friendly.  I walked out of the dealership very happy with the price and was able to include every option I had wanted within my budget.

The staff was attentive, welcoming, and friendly from the moment I stepped into the dealership.

Cons:  Downtown LA traffic and a more highly patrolled area by the LAPD aren't exactly conducive to testing the true performance capabilities of a Porsche.  During the first 10 seconds of the test drive, I pulled up behind a patrol car and saw another driver get lit up for running a light.

This was my first Porsche, but I've been waiting since I was ten.

Katherine took excellent care of me, and I drove off in a 2010 CPO Boxster the same day I came in to look at it. Victor went easy on me for the deal, and the finance guys got me out of there in no time and behind the wheel of my "new" Porsche.

After having felt less than ready for Porsche ownership after a visit to Beverly Hills Porsche, where I was informed they don't often have pre-owned inventory below $50k, it was a pleasure to be treated like a gentleman and enthusiast by Katherine and the entire team at Porsche of Downtown LA.

My first service experience was also phenomenal, and I plan to continue to service my Boxster with this dealership.

I started my day in a panic with a low oil warning... As a first time Porsche owner, purchased in Newport, I fretted being away from home with a check oil level.

I mapped Porsche of downtown la and was greeted by a fellow customer and Ana, one of the service advisors.  She diagnosed my issue quickly and then, to my great surprise and relief, she presented me with a free quart of oil as a first time visitor.

Katherine showed me how to work the home lights - which was big.

And Baahmin has the patience of a saint as he spent nearly his entire Saturday to ensure I was able to get a fair deal and drive away to enjoy my new porsche.

The manager Keni did everything as well - I would, and am going back, as soon as possible to thank their entire team, including Nicole, who made sure I could watch tv and have internet while waiting.

This was my first Porsche, and it was a great experience! Two other dealerships were either unable or uninterested in getting me into a 2013 Cayenne GTS at my price point.
My phone calls and emails were returned promptly. Victor, one of the sales managers, spent almost an hour just explaining lease options, money factor differences between different cars, and the most sensible programs for my lifestyle.
All the staff was supportive, and seemed genuine. When my car was ready, I was picked up at my home by one of the sales staff and driven to the dealership.
The financial process was very painless and not pushy with the extras.
After the sale was finished, I was called a few days later to ensure I was happy and didn't have any questions.
Would highly recommend these guys if you want to be well taken care of.

First and foremost, I want everyone to know that I literally just created my Yelp account just so that I could post this review.  That's how great my experience was, and no I was not paid to write this.  I was not put up to do this, nor did I get a better deal on the car by posting this.  I did this because especially in the car industry it's impossible to find a dealership that takes such good care of you AND gives you super great prices.  How do I know this?  Well here's a quick list of the cars I've purchased in the last 6 months:  Porsche 911 GT3, Lamborghini Gallardo, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Mercedes G55 Wagon, BMW 550i, and s2000 CR.  That was just THIS year, and I can't even count how many cars I've purchased in the last few years.  So YES, I know the car buying experience VERY well as I'm buying a new car every 3-5 months consistently.  I've gone to MANY dealerships and this was by far the smoothest transaction I've ever had.  Now I can't really vouch for all of the sales reps there since I haven't worked with them, but I CAN definitely vouch for the people that I personally worked with, and that's Jonathan Arvatz (Internet Sales Manager) and Victor Ghassemi (General Sales Manager).  Both of them clearly know their stuff about the cars, are very polite and straight-forward, and are very aggressive in pricing.  I wish there was a way to give these guys 6 stars.  Once again, this isn't something I was paid to write.  I was just very impressed and they deserve a great review.  If you're someone that's a huge car enthusiast that's always on forums like 6speed and Luxury4Play, trust me - go here.  I used to refer a lot of business to Newport Porsche and McKenna but you can't even compare.  You really can't.

I think another Porsche dealership would have to give me a free Porsche to ever convince me to switch dealerships. I just can't say enough about the staff and service at Porsche of Downtown LA. I've been working with them for several years now. Allen, the general manager, takes excellent care of me. And his sales managers, Keni and Victor are an absolute pleasure to work with. The service department is also another plus. Vicki, the service manager, always has a nice attitude. Sebastian, one of the service advisors, is on top of his work. He gives you timely updates and makes sure that things go smoothly. Billy, the shop foreman, won't quit until he's made sure your car is perfect. They also have a wide variety of luxury Porsche loaner vehicles to rent you when your car is in service.

After almost making a deal at another dealership,I believed the manager Alan when he told me that dealer didn't have an allocation to order the model I wanted.He told me if I ordered from Downtown I would get my car in 3 months - it took 6 months. No explanation. Do not believe Alan or Victor, these guys are snakes!

I purchased what I thought was a new Porsche from this dealer in 2009. All of my  paperwork shows the purchase date of my car and my title shows the car as purchased new on the same date. Well, it turns out that this dealer had this car as a demo and that automatically qualifies the car as no longer new.

The car was not new, it was used! I paid all the taxes and fees associated with a new car and all my DMV paperwork says it's a new car, yet it isn't. My warranty will expire several months early because of this and Victor, the manager is more interested in telling me that the car wasn't a demo than solving the problem that his dealership is selling used cars as new ones. He was very accusatory and denies that the car was a demo. I have paperwork from Porsche showing it was, in fact, a demo, not new.

If you want to be defrauded into buying a car you think is new, when it isn't, go here. Otherwise, buyer beware. Lest you think this dealer is honest, look closely, you may find they are defrauding you. I plan to pursue this with the DMV and the manufacturer.

Just picked up a P car at Downtown LA Porsche, what a fantastic experience!



My wife and I would like to share our experience buying a 2009 Cayenne from Downtown LA Porsche.  Our salesman, Roger M., was extremely polite, patient, professional and not pushy.  He took his time answering all of our questions and if he didn't know the answer for a particular question, he eagerly sought an answer from either a service tech or the sales manager.  He spent a great deal of time discussing all of the features of the car and allowed us plenty of time to discuss things amongst ourselves.  He showed respect to us as buyers.  As an example, when we gave him our first offer, he didn't act insulted or shocked like a typical salesman.  The car was in need of a thorough interior cleaning and Roger promised that the car would be clean to our standards and even offered a signed promissory note (we declined, feeling that it wasn't necessary).  The car was presented after a full exterior and interior detailed with wheel(s) touch up.  



The sales manager, Keni H, also possessed all of Roger's excellent qualities.  He did not feed us the typical "BS" and did not grind us on the final price.  Without much negotiating, we agreed upon a price and he helped make the "deal closing" experience very pleasurable.  Our final buying price was not affected by a trade in, since we did not trade in a car.



We've purchased several cars in the past, including an "exotic" that was well over what we paid for the Cayenne.  Naivety would suggest that buying a high dollar car would warrant the red carpet treatment but that was far from the case and paled in comparison with this purchase.

My wife and I had visited this establishment on Aug 31 2012.  To my amazement this place is worse than I could have ever expected.  I had inquired about a Porsche Cayenne with Steve L.  Steve was very professional and courteous in finding the right vehicle for my wife's needs.  We had given credit information and all necessary documents via email the previous day so that the vehicle could be ready to go at time of pickup.  I was given a fair discount of $2,500 on this vehicle.  Apparently the vehicle had just arrived from the delivery center.  I was purchasing this vehicle for my wife as a gift.  I did not require financing, I was told to bring a cashiers check for the purchase of the vehicle.  I arrived about 3 pm on Friday (8/31/12) with my wife.  We greeted Steve our sales man and things started to move rather smoothly.  They collected physical information; CDL, Insurance, Ect...They asked for my cashiers check from Wells Fargo Financial.  I handed it over and the process began.  1 hour later I was told that the check was clear and that finance was backed up so I would have to wait another 30 min or so before we could proceed.  At this time the General Sales Manager, his name started with a "V" Victor? Vinnie? Vincent? I don't remember..., approached me and my wife with a few questions.

Are you going to export this vehicle? (who asks this kind of question to a client)
What are you going to do with your current vehicle? (what does it matter what I do)
How does a person go from a VW Jetta to a cash purchase on a Porsche? (what does it matter to you what I have and what I am Getting, remember that I am purchasing this vehicle outright)
So on and so on...

Then he left and returned 15 minutes later with my Cashiers check and told me, "Sorry sir but WE are going to PASS on this DEAL!"

By the way, I am a current client of Downtown La Motor Family, I have a current and ongoing lease with Volks W on a 2012 Jetta.

First off, where do these guys get off not taking my money for a vehicle my wife wanted to purchase.  Who asks if the vehicle is going to be exported?  
I am truly upset by this experience... I feel that racism exists at dealerships even at this level of luxury sales.

My wife and I are Korean.  Polite, well dressed and stellar reputation in the all communities.  Why did this General Sales Manager question our money and throw us out to the curb even after he verified that our cashiers check was good?

It is quite a shame that the Downtown La Motor Group has lost a client.  I will probably never purchase a vehicle from this family, even another VW.  I assume that the company will not care, its just 1 client right?  

Fellow yelpers:  If you have had great experiences at this establishment, Cheers!  If it is your first time there, be mindful of who and what this place thinks of their clients.  My family may be from Korea, but I am born and raised in the USA just as much as any American.  Discrimination and stereo types of any kind at this level of Luxury Sales is unacceptable.

I will be looking into filing a law suit against the company.  Even though it may be tough to find grounds for wrong doing, I want the world to know that what happened here is terrible. It shouldn't happen to anyone! Money is money, I work hard to make it and I should be able to spend it in the way I feel fit.

I have only TRIED to deal with this place for service.  My porsche needed new brakes.  I called and left two voicemails.  I got a call back a week later.  In that time, I found another porsche mechanic to check my brakes, order the brakes, replace them, and I was off driving my car.
They are not quick, and you will not get the service you want here for your car.

i think jonathan arvatz and i must have exchanged over 100 emails. my wife and i went back and forth on a new porsche or a used porsche, a cayenne or a panamera, or a 911. we couldn't make up our minds on direction. yet jonathan never wavered from his always helpful and understanding attitude. i think if the roles had been reversed i would never continued to engage. anyway, we bought our new car last month and i couldn't be more pleased with the way he treated me, the lengths he went to encourage the dealership to give me a sensational deal, and his continued assistance in helping me through the learning process of how to have the best ownership experience. i'd absolutely buy again...

I did not buy a car as the inventory on the web site is "Phantom". eg, Just because there are 6-10 Cayennes on the web site, they are always sold before you get here.

On the positive front, the dealership was genuinely nice, took us on a test drive, was courteous and professional. No hard sale. (You can do this when you have no inventory!)

They did take the time to walk me next door to check out the Audi's as well.

Great Porsche dealer!   Bought 2 cars from here and referred other buyers who had great experiences as well.  From the minute I walked in, I was greeted courteously and when making the deals, it was quick and honest, no back and forth mind games.

I also bring in my car for service here despite having another dealer closer to home.  The service advisors are very helpful and always kepted me updated on the status of the car.

All these positive reviews above 2 stars are bullshit, are probably written by the dealership themselves, or customers who got ripped off but don't know it yet.

When I walked into this piece of shit dealership, everyone ignored us. This dealership is pretty much a ghost town and I was there on a saturday afternoon. Anyways, I used the bathroom and when I came out, this poor excuse of a salesman starts talking to my mom. He was rude and acted like he was doing us a huge favor by talking to us. OK. Sometimes it takes a little time for these salesman to warm up to you, ie realize you have money and actually there to buy a car. This ah-ha moment never clicked in his head, so he was a douche to me the entire time. I ask him if he had any 997 carrera s with pdk and he said he only had one and only one. He then told us that we had to walk all the way the way to the garage and he wouldn't bring the car to us. My mom was like, fuck it, and stayed in the lobby enjoying the AC while I followed the guy. He was rude. He did not talk to me and walked like 10 feet in front of me like he was embarrassed to be seen with me. Why alienate customers? My dad then noticed that he had holes in his slacks, and we laughed so hard at his expense. This guy obviously has not been selling very many cars.

He then brought me to the 997 and was instructing me what I could and couldn't do with a 997 if I bought the car, like put small children in the backseat or track the car or more and more bullshit. Fuck, mind your own business. I can do whatever the hell I want to do with my car after I leave the lot. He insisted that it was a 2 seater, when in actuality it was a 2+2. I asked him questions, and he ignored me. I wanted the keys to play with PCM (the nav) and he didn't give me the keys. So I am just sweating inside this black on black 911 in the middle of summer because he wouldn't let me test out the AC. He finally asked if I wanted to take this car for a test drive, and I begrudgingly accepted and gave him my drivers license. He tried to force me to ride in the car, but I wanted my sister to ride in it since she had those high heal boots on.

What really pissed me off was that I saw a white carrera s with pdk when walking back to the dealership. He fucking lied to my face. Fuck, you think I'm stupid or blind? There are cars labelled "Carrera S" and I can clearly see that it isn't a stick. I was pissed. Luckily, I prepared for this situation and already had directions from Downtown LA porsche to beverly hills porsche. I walked in and I told my mom loudly, that we are leaving and going to beverly hills porsche. She asked why. I projected my voice and told her how this guy was not taking me seriously and lied to me and so on and so forth. The salesman came in and heard me complaining, and immediately sat down on his desk and started to key in my information from my drivers license. I walked up to him and said:

Me: (in a firm voice) Give me back my drivers license.
Douche: (with an air of condescending arrogance) Don't you want to test drive the car?
Me: No
Douche: Ok. (his eyes widened in disbelief as his arrogance slowly melted into a defeated regret)

It took me being a douche to him before he realized I was serious about buying the car. Fuck, I don't have time to waste on stupid test drives or asshole salesmen. HA! He will go hungry another day because he missed a sale. Too bad. Enjoy them pants with holes in them. If you have to go to this dealership, steer clear of a short, fat, bald and stupid salesman

I went down to see their Caymans and was treated well.
However, the quality of their Pre-Owned Certified was awful; Scuffed and scratched up. The pricing was way nonnegotiable?

Over all, I kept looking and found the perfect Cayman.

I wouldn't recommend the trip downtown.

In the last ten years I have taken all my porsches to this place.  This includes my 996, CayenneS, and 997S. I have dealt with Vivki and James. Both are excellent, professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of service. My 997 had a major problem with the transaxle and they replaced the entire engine under warranty.

I have purchased one car from them about five years ago and found them to be very up front and willing to negotiate,  I purchased a car from BH Porsche and will never go there again. I purchased my latest one at McKenna because they had what I wanted on the showroom floor. Otherwise I would have bought it from Downtown.

Sometimes, when I am in their neighborhood, I will stop in to look at the new cars and have some donuts and coffee. They have a great coffee machine where you can pick exactly what you want.  

This place is great and when the 2012 new 997 comes out, I will probably get mine here.

The sales staff here is very friendly and not pushy upon entering.  The staff was helpful and answered all my questions, without any pressure to make a sale upon the first visit.

So I didn't buy my car here, but it's the closest dealer to me.  They've been really accommodating when it comes to my needs.  If it's a warranty issue, they've always set me up in a rental car.  The unfortunate part is that I never get a dealer/loaner car.  I would much rather drive that then have to deal with the incompetence at Enterprise rental next door.

Juan, the service representative, is always very patient and explains everything fully.  It's just unfortunate that my dealings with him have been due to mechanical issues instead of just the routine service visits.

The place is always clean and the staff friendly.  If you get there early enough, there are donuts in the waiting area.  Well until my lease is up, I'll definitely be back I'm sure for other things, hopefully just routine service.

furthermore the service manager (theres only one) Vicki Carbone is as bad as they come.  i highly recommend you take ur porsche in for service elsewhere.  service departments customer service is non existent.

Are you kidding me???  I run a collision repair shop that specializes in Porsche. Most yelpers have no idea what they are talking about because they are likely NOT in the automotive business. I am. And because most my Porsches are late model and still under warranty I find myself sending ALOT of business to the dealer. We used to work with another dealership but since meeting Vicki at DTLA, I am sooooooo loyal to her.  The warranty issues are taken care of asap and any non warranty stuff is serviced at a competitive price. This is their standard procedure. They are the ONLY Premier Porsche dealership in LA according to Porsche's website.  That didn't happen accidentally.  
Vicki is a solid advocate, and very helpful.  James is just as competent and willing to help.  The technicians are amongst the highest trained in the nation, and the shop is consistently cleaner than Beverly Hills (that's what really turned me on).

I brought in my 997S here for service while the car was still under warranty. The service advisers thoroughly inspect your car and try to talk you out of getting any warranty work done. Sure, the car drives great and I'm being nit-picky about the squeaks and rattles but this is an expensive car that deserves quality servicing.  If the first adviser fails in talking you out of work, they bring in a manager who is very arrogant. I do not understand why she has attitude towards customers who have purchased their flagship 911. Does she own three or even one? What gives her the right to be condescending? It's mind boggling. I mean come on, this ain't the Ferrari dealership.

Obviously, I will never bring in my car for servicing there again and will never consider purchasing from them. And the ultimate f-u, a one star review on Yelp.
