Reviews on Mega Cars

I'm glad I have never been in a situation where I needed to buy a car from a rat hole place like this. Either way if you need to buy a car don't come to this place. Read the reviews and trust the negative ones. Somehow my stolen 3rd row cadillac seats ended up at this shop. LASD tracked them down here off a craigslist ad. My husband showed up to recover them with detectives. We identified them because of the markings on the seats that we were aware of. This place is beyond shady, they are engaged in criminal activity. They buy stolen goods and resale at a price profitable to them. Imagine the quality of cars they are selling to people in need of a relaible car. Save your hard earned cash and buy from a reputable place. Thanks to the LASD we got out seats back and I'm sure the place will be investigated and shut down when their practices are uncovered. Rated one star just to allow the ad to post.

I could not make it to see a car a certain day then the next afternoon I get a phone call from a random not knowing who it was while at work, obviously cannot tell them right after a text message from Andy a  salesman from this location word for word "That was really rude of you. Next time dont make an appointment and give out your number if you're going hang up like that" and asked if I was still interested in the car! Yeah right you just called me rude which I explained to him that is the reason I'm no longer interested then he texts me again saying "dumb" and without me even responding sends ANOTHER "your rude as fuck"
I'm sorry this is un expectable. Absolute worst costumer service I've ever experienced any where in my entire life. It's good to know Mega Cars is teaching their employees this kind of behavior. I'm sure you'll sell a ton of cars if you continue to act like this.

Long story short, I had been shopping around at different dealerships for a long while. Looking for the same car everywhere I went, but not happy with the offers they were making me. I saw an ad online with the same exact car I wanted at Mega Cars. I came by to their place one random day and met with a sales consultant named Andy.  He let me test drive the car as long as I wanted,  he then explained the whole process to me being that I was a first time buyer. He tried his best to work with me, and gave me a great deal! I was able to do a trade in, and drove home in the car I had been longing to get.

I thank Mega Cars & Andy for making my first experience amazing!!! I recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a car at a good deal.

Salesman Andy worked with me on my trade in, drove away with my new suv. Very fair deal,  he was there for any extra questions or concerns I had after the sale was made. Very satisfied costumer.

As you walk in, be careful since you may break or at the very least twist your ankle since there is a blind step into the office.

Since I didn't want to be making payments, I opted to look for a used car that was in the cash price range of $1,500 to $2,000. I came across a Craigslist post of a Honda Accord with the price tag being $1,800. Since I did not wanted to deal with a dealership, I looked for a private seller. To my surprise, it was a dealership after all. I still went down there and checked out the car. The car was not something I wanted though. As I was leaving, the salesman told me of a Hyundai Sonata '98 with 129k miles that had a $1,650 price tag. The price sounded great, so I told him I had to come back later if I didn't take another offer with someone else.

I came back a day later to check the car out. The paint was not good at all. There were some parts that had began to rust. But being that I needed a car and the price was really low, I didn't care for the cosmetics. I test drove it. It needed an alignment, new tires and there was a "Check Engine" light on. The manager by the name of Ramon, told me he would take the car to a mechanic to check out the "Check Engine" light, meanwhile I went to grab a bite to eat. I came back and he explained there was a spark plug cable loosened, so they took care of that. I figured the car was fine then even though I had to buy new tires and get an alignment done.

I decided to buy the car. To my surprise, after exiting the freeway, I came to a red light, the car began to shake, stall and finally turned off!! I tried turning the car back on, but it took, not once, not twice, not even three times, but four times before it actually turned back on. I knew that this car was not the right one for me.

I came back the next day early in the morning to advice them of the lemon they had sold me. Of course, I knew they were going to put up a fight. I did my research on regulations on car dealerships like this. I found out that any car on a dealership MUST have a Buyer's Guide displaying an "AS IS" or "WARRANTY" statement. This car didn't have it.

RAMON (sales manager) became rude and didn't take my word that the car had been acting up on me. He took it to his mechanic, came back and told me to hop into the car because it didn't do anything that I had described him. We went around a couple of streets and the car seem to had been fixed. Finally, we arrived to a stop, and it began to act up to the point that it turned off! We drove back to the dealership after hearing all of the lame excuses in the book as to why cars sometimes do that. Once we arrived at the dealership, he began to become extremely unhelpful, disrespectful and very "Used-Car-Salesman-Like"!!

I waited for the owner to show up since he was going to have the last word, so I thought! It ended up being that this dealership sells used cars from some "friend" that had a another dealership and ended up being bankrupt. The owner, didn't want to return the car, even though it had been NOT even 24 hours since I had picked up the car! At the end, he finally said, "Fine! I will return it, but you will have to pay $100 since commission had already been distributed." I agreed. RAMON, interjects with, "No, it is $200 since two people got paid on this transaction." My jaw drops as I hear this. Thinking the OWNER had all the power, I said I would take the first offer, but RAMON seems to have more saying than his own boss.

From the beginning to the end, this place is totally shady. They do not know the meaning of customer service! They do not know the meaning of integrity. They do not even know anything about ethics. I am sure they do not even have a mission statement for their company.

Bottom line, PLEASE DO NOT shop at this dealership unless you want to be sitting here, writing another BAD review on this JOKE of a dealership!!
