We purchased a 2015 Lincoln MKC last weekend.  We dealt with Ray Salazar initially through the internet, and then in-person to complete the transaction.  Everything was great, we got the exact car we wanted and the buying experience was straightforward and easy.  Raymond in finance was also excellent, very helpful and quick.  It was a great experience overall.  We drove from Orange County to Palm Springs for the vehicle in the color we wanted, and from the experience it was well worth the drive.

I was very skeptical about PS. motors from past experiences, however they were very friendly everyone in the dealership when above and beyond in order for me to drive out in my dream car. I will definitely recommend P.S motors to everyone. The sales team took the time to show me how to use the new navigation system in my car, they set up the Bluetooth to connect my phone to the stereo. I am beyond happy with P.S motors The finance director was very friendly and worked hard to make the deal happen. The entire team from the sales to the finance team were amazing to work with.

The staff was helpful and informative. Rick freeze was especially personable and accessible. Ray in finance was able to answer my questions and offer budget worthy choices. Being that they have the only mazda dealership in the valley, they have a bit of a monopoly for those not able to travel, but they're also just as eager to help and sell these vehicles. You may experience a few different salespersons throughout the duration of your experience, but keep your objective and budget in mind, and they will work with you.

I took my new Mazda there (which I bought in November in Omaha NE).  The tire light kept going on even though I checked the tire pressure and it was normal.  I happened to drive past the dealership and thought I would stop in to make an appointment.  As  it was late Saturday morning, I did not expect to be serviced for a non-emergency that day.  I was delighted that they serviced me immediately.  As it  was a new car, they wanted to check all the alert lights.  It took about an hour and I waited in the lounge.  It was really nice.  I got some work done on the computer they had there.  They even washed and vacuumed the car.  As I was planning to stop and get that done later in the day I really appreciated the free wash!  The man who worked with me, Brad, was really nice and could not have been more helpful.  The best part is that my problem was resolved!

I am not one to really post any reviews and have never posted a Yelp review before,  however in this case our 2 experiences at Palm Springs Motors were worth writing.  We went in  to Palm Spring  Motors to look at and test drive the Ford Escape.  We met a salesperson and were immediately bait and switched into looking at the Lincoln MKC.  We were told it is a much better car, and lease deals were better.  We test drove the MKC and after an hour and a half of not seeing an Escape nor getting a quote on the MKC  we finally gave up.  It was the typical "let me talk to the sales manager" about lease specials.  After we never received the details of the lease we decided we had enough, so we proceeded to leave.   Immediately came running the sales manager and salesperson  to try to convince us to stay.  I told them they had our email address and they could email the information on the lease.  We never saw the Ford Escape, which is what we had come to test drive and get a quote on.  We were looking at the year end lease deals which had been advertised.  After two weeks of narrowing our decision, we contacted another Ford dealership in the area for a quote, via email.  After our experience at this dealership we decided to just get quotes via email with other car dealerships and other car manufacturers. We narrowed our choices down to 3 cars.  We went  to two other dealerships, test drove the cars, and since we had done our research on the lease specials we knew the pricing, this process in each case about a half hour.   Our last stop was at Palm Springs Motors since we had decided to give them another chance.  We were given a quote from a salesperson via email.  We were greeted by another salesperson who told us that he was off for the weekend.  He told us to have a seat and someone would be right with us.  We sat another 10 minutes so I decided to check out the lot, as well as the showroom so I could at least see and sit inside the Ford Escape.  I looked but could not find not even one Escape!  I returned back to where my partner was seated and he told me that someone just came to tell him they were "bringing one around" for us to look at and test drive.  We waited, and waited again, and after which was 15 minutes I decided that we had enough.  We were giving them a second chance, but no more. I decided to go into the "glass enclosed sales manager office" to let them know of our second experience.  Somehow immediately we had 5 people listening and apologizing for what had happened.  It was not a pleasant interaction but I had to let them know how we had been treated yet again. I explained the whole drama yet again and  left the almighty glass enclosure.  I decided I had forgotten to let the know that I would be posting on Yelp my review of our experience.  We no more got home and the calls came in, apologizing and wanting to make us a "deal we could not refuse". The deal eventually came and it was more than the original deal, and we actually had gotten a better lease deal on an SE model (better equipped) than we could on the S model from Palm Springs Motors.  I was contacted and told they would be glad to bring a car for us to test drive, as I had explained we would never step foot in the dealership again.  Needles to say, we have decided against Palm Springs Motors and a Ford for that matter.  On the last note, we still have never seen inside nor drive the Escape.  I would say if you are looking to buy a Ford product, it is worth driving the extra miles to avoid Palm Springs Motors!

I've been thinking about the C-Max Energi since it was first announced, at least a couple of years ago.  PSM brought it along with about 20 other vehicles to the Super Pet Adoption, sonating money for every test drive - that was my chance to check out the car I've been wanting!  It's even nicer than I expected.  I researched price online, and stopped in on my way home from work.  Of course I paid more than I'd have liked (isn't that always the case?) but I felt respected throughout the process, and 4 exhasting hours later I left with my new car.  A month later, no regrets!

At first, I was wary of buying a new hybrid but when my sales person (Kelly) showed me the features and benefits of the new Ford C-Max Hybrid I was sold. I benefited greatly from trading in my Ford Ranger plus with all the Ford rebates through their in-house Ford Credit department -- when all was said and done I received half of what my new car was worth in trade-in plus got over $3500 in Ford Rebates.  In short, I financed less than $8000 and a bit of cash in turn for a brand new 2014 Ford C-Max Hybrid (fully loaded).  Since that time some minor service was required to tweak the glove box and check the front under body guard -- all this was done for free plus I was given a rent a car for the day from the on-site Enterprise Car rental.  I dropped my car off at 9am and it was ready by 3 PM. That's service! In closing, I am averaging 44.5 miles in the City with my C-Max -- amazing fuel economy.  Overall. I am very pleased with the sales and financing experience at Palm Springs Motors -- and the service department is superior -- probably the best around.

I'm not a happy camper right now!!! I dropped my 2012 Ford Focus off at the dealership at 9 am yesterday morning to have the transmission checked out. They were nice enough to provide a shuttle ride home. The day progressed with no news about my car. The service department closed that night with no news about my car. I had to call this morning to get an update only to find out THAT THEY HADN'T EVEN LOOKED AT THE DAMNED THING YET!!! And they. couldn't have picked up the phone to let me know what was going on? What lousy. customer service! Now, I'll probably be another day without a car. They didn't (and probably wouldn't have) even offer a loaner. Very inconvenient and I don't think they even care.

UPDATE: It turns out that apparently there was some miscommunication between the mechanic and the front office. Turns out that my car WAS worked on yesterday, but the mechanic failed to update the computer. OK. That still means that I was without my car longer than needed. I do have to say that the people were nice and that the shuttle service to and from the dealership was nice.

They came down on price when we were leaving. So we came back next day to try and seal the deal with lowered trade in value and some cash. They wanted to give us their new lower price only if we financed the full amount. no trade in and they didn't really like the cash down idea. Kept asking how much I want my payments to be and how long I can stretch it out. 6-7 years.They wanted to run my credit before we settled on a price of the car. If you don't pay attention you'll get hosed on the finance here.  No thanks.

exceptional service I recently bought my mazda and I had a positive experience. I made the switch from Toyota to  Mazda and it was the best choice I have done. Worst Service Department in the Coachella Valley. Super slow, take forever to return calls, then treat you like you are lucky to be spending your money with them. We dropped off our F-150 at 8:30 am for routine service plus sunroof issue. Was told by end of day. Right. Called next day in AM, left message with Service adviser, no return call. Left another message at 11am, no return. Called at 3pm, was told "ticket still open", in other words, it took them over 24 hours to even look or start the oil change. Went to get my truck, all the Techs had gone home already. But not before pulling the sunroof all the way open and unable to close. I purchased this truck there, new. Next vehicle I buy will be anywhere but there. You have to leave the Valley to get good Ford service.

Palm Springs Motors in Cathedral City, California is the business about which I wish to write my review.  Do not under any circumstances even drive into their place of business or visit their web site!  They are crooks!  We spent the entire day being assaulted by a highly trained team of high high pressure salesmen!  But their web site tells you otherwise!  We were promised many things, all of which were lies!  After we were completely worn down, had paid the scandalous over price, and ending up nearly giving them our 2 very nice trade ins, then were offered 1000 dollars to give them an excellent rating on the web site!  When I bulked, we were pressured to accept the offer!  We ending up paying 12 thousand more than we had been promised, and when taking the new Lincoln across states (we live in Utah) they "forgot" to put temp plates and registration so we were stopped in Nevada and will face fines.  In addition, they had us drive the new car into Arizona for some kind of notary signings, what the hell was that about?  I suspect something illegal with California law?  Finally they forgot to give me back my CD's from the trad in!  I feel sorry for the polite and emotionally traumatized young salesman who tried to help us against the barrage of "experienced" demon salesmen!  They should take down the sign and replace it with "Welcome to Hell".

This dealership and Kelly Heldenbrand, my salesman, get my highest ratings. Kelly knows his product, he's a great listener, and a complete professional. I enjoyed the experience of leasing my 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. It's a fantastic car. Recently, I brought my MKZ in for a tire rotation and detail. I received a loaner MKZ at no cost without having to ask. I also appreciated that the loaner car didn't have large gaudy dealership signage all over it like you see from Lexus and BMW. I thought that was truly first class service. The Lincoln service desk reminded me of the experiences I've had using private banking services. You feel like a client, not a number.Everyone was completely professional, friendly and efficient.

I want to thank everybody at Palm Springs motors!! I looked high and low for the truck they sold me it was a commercial F450 with a very unique service body.
Ray in sales and Raymond in finance really did me a solid!!
If I was going to buy another truck it would be right here from them!!
There were no games and I basically did almost everything over the phone!! Ray was extremely thorough in explaining to us everything on the truck and the new Microsoft sync technology.

If you're going to buy a car or truck in the future this is the place and especially Ray.

He was not sales he or anything he was just straight up and right to business like I like it as I own a business I really could appreciate his frankness!!

Wow - I wish I would have read these reviews before I went there.  I hate them to (well hate is a very strong word does despise work?  They are so very greedy and they absolutely will not work with you at all.  I ended up paying dealer's sticker price because I was stupid and desperate.  Would have left but I didn't think my car would make it anywhere else - I waited too long to trade it in.

I took my new car in for a free oil change at 3000 miles. This service took 6 hours to complete. I was suckered into buying a service contract, now thinking I want my money back. I am sure I can good service from another business that actually wants my business, and one that can get the work in a timely fashion!

My husband and I have just returned from Palm Springs Ford after waiting over half an hour in row 3 of the Service Department area.  Lots of Service Advisors around but not one helped us.  As it turn out our Service Advisor (Ron) was away during the time of our appointment and his office-mate could not even assist us for a brief moment so that we could drop off the truck!!  Our truck is a brand new F-150 - so how much of a problem could we be having.      There must be other Ford Dealers in Palm Springs area with much better Service Advisors.

First impression - not good.

This is one of the worst car dealerships in the nation!

Years ago, my boss gave me a budget to buy a used corporate car and was ready to pay cash for the vehicle.  The sales person, although very nice and tried to work with me, had to keep dealing with coitus interruptus with his superior.  The superior wanted to not honour what the sales person originally promised for the price of the vehicle and trade-in.  After my boss pitched a fit, they finally agreed to the original terms.

The Taurus ended up being a lemon and had to be taken back to the dealer under the extended warranty on a weekly or monthly basis!  They would take DAYS to repair simple problems (although they did provide a loaner car each time).  It got so bad that a supervisor offered to buy the car back from the company I was working for!  We told him, "No way, we bargained for and got a good deal on the vehicle; paid big money for the extended warranty; just fix the damn car!"

Every experience with this dealership (except the initial meetings with the sales person) were horrendous, unprofessional, and in violation of most consumer laws.  I even filed a complaint with the corporate office of Ford, but that did little good.

The hassle didn't end until I quite my job and turned the car back over the my boss!

Not in my wildest dreams would I ever consider purchasing or repairing a vehicle at this dealership!
