My boyfriend and I decided it was time i got my own car. We had been looking at pre-owned cars on Craigslist when we heard about this "Dealer for the people" We went to Premier Auto Center and no more than 2 seconds after we turned off our car a sales man was already standing in front of our car. We where not even out of the car yet!

The man began by asking us questions "What car are you looking for? 2 door or 4 door? What are you planning on doing with this car? Lets go inside so i can figure out what car you qualify for". It was so overwhelming. I then told him we just want to take a look around. The then said "If you come inside we can see what you are approved for." I again told him we just want to see the lot. He then said "If we see what amount you are approved for we can choose a car in that range. I dont want you to find a car you love then be disappointed." I was fed up at that point i just wanted to leave.

He must have realized that because he said let me go get you a business card. My boyfriend suggested to me we wait for the card (mind you we are still standing buy our current car's driver door) when he and the inventory manager come over. This man was much nicer because  he actually introduced himself to us but i was ready to leave. He then told us where everything was on the lot. As he was doing so the other man just walked away. Instead of pushing us inside he wanted us to look around. But after 20 minutes of being there and not leaving my current car i was ready to go. So we got in the car and left

This is not what i was expecting it was not supposed to be pressured sales that all I got. I also feel like i didn't look like someone who just wanted to buy not necessarily finance a car. All in all i would go elsewhere.

What ever you do don't give them your phone number. Tanya will call you three times a day for three months straight. Even after you tell her you are not interested. We figured she was a persistent hard worker and wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt because she came off as annoying and Kind of rude.

They sold my wife a car with a battery that I assume had exploded and someone wrapped with electrical tape. My wife called them about the issue. When the car wouldn't start Leaving my wife, My 6 month old baby, My 2 1/2 year old and my eight-year-old who's in a wheelchair stranded at the store.

Mike rudely gave my wife the run-a-round with promises that A tow truck was coming to pick up the car for repairs. 3 days and 4 phone conversations later and no tow truck insight. Instead we got a stern detailed description of the warranty and how it is not covered   And they are no longer legally responsible to make the situation correct. The best advice they gave us was to go out and buy a new battery and to take the old battery back to the dealership  ( I think they wanted the core)Luckily my wife did not try to jump the car because after taking the battery out I discovered that it was leaking acid, The sides  of the battery's wall's were bulging and it was wrapped with electrical tape. Hate to think what would happen if she tried to jump it with my babies in the car.

So Mister Scott Lehman,
             I know you or a staff member are going to respond, with some type of Standard customer service script. To try to save your name and to make it seem like your compassionate to the situation. So if "you want to do everything to make this right(your words from a past response from a  other negative review). You may reimburse my family of six of the battery we had to purchase nothing else nothing more. I feel that is only right. If you wish to contact me talk with Mike he knows how to get a hold of us. As for you yelp community I will keep you posted. ;)

Great place to go to when you need a new car, in a hurry.

We went to trade in a 2001 Chevy venture. The salesman was very nice and not like a salesman at all. He did not push anything on us and tried to work with us to get the best car for the price.

It took some time but we were able to get a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country. perfect for our small children. They also gave us a higher trade-in amount then, what our van was actually worth.

I'm hoping that this works out and we are able to keep the vehicle, seeing other reviews have had issues. Going good so far.

I thought I bought a car last night. They sales guy came out with a YES! paper with our monthly payment on it and then I signed all the papers with the fianance guy and exchanged my mini van keys for the keys to my new 2013 Hyundia Santa Fe. I then changed over my insurance.. Today I got a call asking me to bring the car back because the credit union wouldnt actually approve the loan and I couls be aproved for maybe a 2011 Ford Escape..... Wont ever tell anyone to go here.

The only pro was that the sales guy Faris was very nice.

Today I went to purchase a new vehicle that was posted on their website, I called to double check they had it because I had to drive over 60 miles to get there. I was promptly told by a young lady that she double checked and the vehicle was there. I drove for over an hour (ready to purchase) this specific vehicle, As soon as I got there I was told the car was sold a few days before, and the manager (with his feet up on his desk) wouldn't even come talk to me, but sent out the same poor salesman to deal with my frustration. I do not recommend you take anything their website or phone associates say as truthful, as they want you to come in just to make a purchase even if it is not the vehicle you intended to originally buy.

LIES LIES LIES!  Was very specific in an email on my financial means and was told by Brandy that after consulting with her manager the vehicle i was interested in fell 'well within' my financial specifics.  So went in to see said vehicle and after inspection and test drive noted it has mis-alinged body panels, squeaky brakes, chipped windshield, poor tire tread and needed a paint job.  Told the salesman this vehicle looks like it has been in an accident, no he says it hasn't.  HA, carfax, or whatever their equivalent they use is called shows TWO reported accidents.  Then it turns out that this vehicle doesn't even come close to falling within my financial guidelines.  And even with all the defects mentioned above they still insist this vehicle rates better than 'fair' in the Kelly blue book guidelines.  I think not!
Oh they are apologetic i was misinformed by Brandy but in the next breath bragging about how many people she gets into their store...sure by LYING to them!!!!  

I was pre-approved, check in hand, with an interest rate I knew they couldn't beat but they insisted I apply for their credit even though i was apprehensive about inquiries on my credit report.  He kept coming back with monthly payments and i had to ask FIVE TIMES what was the interest rate...FIVE!!!  sure monthly payments are important but if the bottom line of total paid makes me pay TWICE what the actual value of the vehicle is its not worth it!  

and I DO NOT appreciate being called "sweetie" Mr credit manager!  Way to perpetuate the misconception that a woman can not buy a vehicle without being demoralized.  FYI I have bought MANY new and used vehicles and gotten much better deals then you were willing to offer from both male and FEMALE sales people.  Also interesting to note the only 2 females you had working there were scantily clad, high heeled chickies only appearing to be allowed to answer phones and dust off desks.

once we decided the vehicle in question wasn't going to fit within my financial specifics we asked to see other vehicles,they told me they couldn't find me anything I would like, How the hell do you know if i would like it or not without even showing it to me....that's some brilliant salesmanship premier.  I forgot to mention that my daddy was once a used car salesmen so I'm very well informed of your smoke and mirrors BS and the in-ability to answer a straight question with a straight answer.  "for the people" my ass!  you all are for no one but your pitiful selves....

Went online to take at look at their inventory. You must enter phone and email. Next day I got a voicemail that sounded like this" This is Wendy returning you call, please call me back at you convenience" Wendy never said what co she was calling from so I didn't call back. Next day another voicemail, same message. I finally called back. I asked why she didn't tell me the co she was calling from. her reply was " thats was the script said"! This is the type of experience I had when I went to the dealer and spoke with a sales person. never got a straight answer. I asked for the price of the car and he said it was in the mid teen's! what??? I was paying cash BTW. I responded to every question he had and still didn't get a price on the car. I asked 3 time and his response was the same " mid teen's" How can you sell a car if you don even know the price??? finally he quoted me 15k for a car that is worth 13k retail. They take advantage of people and the way they do business is shady! Not answering questions from a serous buyer is not closing! I finally went to Chapman on speedway and purchase a car, same year for $12,900. They told me they price right up from. No bull! I felt I was on a "pickle" dealing with Premier!

My wife and I had been looking at vehicles for a while and visited Premier auto center on Wed. They made buying a vehicle so simple you couldn't say no. Greg Pintor will work very hard at getting you in the vehicle you want. In fact everybody that we talked to at the Auto Center was very friendly and helpful Kevin in finance is an amazing finance manager. I would not feel bad recommending premier auto to any of my friends or family!

Yes, I found and bought a truck I adore, but...

NO ONE at this business can ever be bothered to pick up the phone and return a call.   NO ONE!

Edit: Premier Auto took note of my review, and called to apologize about the phone call issue.  This gave them the boost in rating, to what I would have liked to give in the first place.

Side note: the onsite repair shop..Gustavo, I can't recommend him enough!

I was a first time buyer and in need of a newer, reliable vehicle. I had heard of Premier Auto Centers on the entertaining radio ads and decided to give it a try since the current car I was driving could barely get me down the block without overheating.
Salesman, Chris Diaz, showed me several different makes and models of vehicles after getting to know what I was looking for. Not only did we find something in my budget, but he went above and beyond to help make me feel comfortable with the deal. Despite feeling anxious as a first time buyer, everyone at Premier Auto made me feel confident and I did not feel pressured at all. Great Job!

Horrible, slimy people. Thank you for selling  us a truck that blew its transmission on 20k miles. This truck lasted almost a year and a half. But at 24% apr, I know it's high, bit at least you could have sold us a car that works. Don't do business with these people.  Go to Volkswagon or BMW, they will treat you like a human being. This place needs to shut down.

I wish I had read your review before my Wife and I bought there.
What you said is true and they also have a "safety" sticker on their cars which means you should take it to a mechanic and tire shop to ensure the car is safe to drive they have a poor inspection team. Also MAKE SURE you get the car fax or auto check before you buy. The car we bought had an accident that Premier did not disclose. It had other issues that they band aid and we still have a car equipped with tires that are not specified as correct for the car.

They advertise "for the people" ... Nonsense...
