Established in 1984.

Our story began in 1984 with the simple idea that Honda and Acura automobile owners needed an organization they could trust to work quickly and efficiently on their vehicles. An organization that could both maintain a new car warranty and save them money on every service or repair that might be needed throughout the entire life of the vehicle.  We have now provided these services for over 25,000 Honda and Acura owners!

Over the last 30 years we have listened  closely to our customer's requests for additional services and this has lead us to also providing Paint and Body services, Tire Services, Windshield and Glass services, and now we have come full circle and offer our very own certified and guaranteed "Precision Prepared" Pre-Owned line of cars.

Precision Incorporated has been "THE Alternative to the Big Dealerships" from the very beginning and we have no intention of ever changing are approach or belief that the voice of our customers should be heard above all else!

AWEsome. I will do business with Precision again and again and recommend them to everyone. We got a great used car with no hassles at a great price and aftercare. Could not be more pleased.

We have been using Precision for years starting with an old Honda we had when we moved to Tucson over 20 years ago.  So,  in 2006 we got a new Civic and after our Warranty from the Honda dealer was up we continued using Precision for service.  Unfortunately, due to an accident last week we needed to get a new "used" vehicle to replace the totaled Civic. We checked their web site and found a perfect replacement.  I feel confident in purchasing a used car from them.  They handled all the paper work efficiently.  So much to do when buying a car.  All the guys here are awesome and seem to live and breathe Hondas and Acuras. Mike N. and John M. both really put you at ease.  We got a 2006 Acura and hopefully it will give us years of good reliable service.

This place is so overpriced. Got an estimate for s simple repair. Quote was higher than the Honda dealer. Let that sink in. Higher than a stealership. Pass. Super friendly though.

I read all of the great reviews on yelp and thought I'd give these guys a call since my Honda dealership's estimate was so high and the other one I got from Brake Masters was also kinda crazy.  I called first telling them what I needed done and their prices seemed fair so I set up an appointment but unfortunately ended up extremely dissatisfied.  While they had my car they said I needed about $1,500 of additional repairs.  They also said to entirely finish my repair job they'd have to do all of this work at once or else my car would get worse.  Obviously I found it odd that two other businesses didn't find these problems with my car and after telling the guy to hold off on these repairs I called two other businesses who also found my repairs highly irrational.  I then called my brother who is an auto mechanic and didn't think their story seemed right .  I only got part of my work done at this place and the following day took my car to another shop.  I showed them precision's estimate which literally had them laughing and they told me I was correct in only needing what I asked for fixed to begin with.  I believe this place was trying to take advantage of me and I highly do not recommend them to anyone.

I've been going to Precision for about 2 years now to service my 2003 Honda Element. Every interaction I've had with Precision has been outstanding and having them specialize on Honda has been great in turnaround time for parts.

They are more expensive than the last shop we used, but I have had better experiences with their quality of work and thoroughness. The only negative is their time estimating, you would think they were general contractors as the guy on the phone and the actual mechanic have differing views about "almost done", but I almost always drop off my vehicle for the day, the two times I waited, the turnaround was very prompt.

I'm from Sierra Vista, an hour & half away, but was in town for a VA appointment.  The local Honda dealer in the SV is terrible at services, so I tried visiting Chapman Honda. I had a quick question about replacing the cruise contol switch on my 2006 Honda Accord.  I'd been there twice before & found the customer service less than stellar. I was disappointed yet again by waiting far too long for the service manager to acknowledge my existence.   I backed out of their service drive & found this gem on a Yelp search.

Mike was very cool with me...non of that "you're a girl, so let me treat you like an idiot" BS I've experienced in my life despite being a mechanic myself.  I explained I've done quite a wide variety of repairs, but considering the proximity to the air bag I'd rather the Pros do it.  Mike actually listened to my reasoning, agreed after looking at the steering wheel, ordered the part & scheduled an appointment.  The beauty of this encounter is that Mike was willing to get the part immediately & install it on the spot, which was very refreshing. As it turns out the part would have to be shipped from out of town, so I had to come back later.

I arrived for my appointment this morning & asked Mike if they would be willing to do the labor for an oil change since I had the oil, filter & drain plug gasket with me.  Mike agreed.  Again this was refreshing not to have a shop hogtie me to their own oil, etc.

I normally wouldn't agree to any additional services, but I am having them change out a simple air inlet hose because I'm damned impressed with these guys.
What I also like about this place - the cleaniness of the waiting area.  They have free bottles of water while you wait.  The professional appearance of the mechanics.  How Mike knows each customer by name when they come in here. Mike even knows all the Hondas in this gentleman's family.  He raps with customers about their daily lives & can tell you where to get reasonably priced .223 ammo.

It pains me to write this review as my beloved Honda was lost in a tragic accident, but for all you Honda and Acura owners in Tucson, take comfort in knowing this is the place to go for your repair and service needs.

We all know to skip the stealership. Precision offered the best prices and warranty among many of the other indy import shops in town. Furthermore, they have six (?) bays, generally means less wait times. They also move all cars to the back secured lot in case they need to keep your car there for service.

One thing I don't like is that they still have a bit of the dealer mentality. I was told all four of my struts were leaking. I got second opinions from three different shops and they all said only two were leaking. It's true, if your car is up on the lift and it's time for struts, you might as well get all of them done, but some honesty would be helpful in knowing what really is going on.

Rich's recommendation: go here. Make sure you have a friend who knows cars and service prices or be prepared to make some second opinion runs.

My roommate referred me here. The guys there are very nice and welcoming! I came in to get my oil change and requested for them to look at my AC because it wasn't blowing cold air very well. They got the job done quickly even though they were busy. Good service. Very pleased. Will price match too!

None better!!
I've been coming here about 25 years, since it was at the old location, and I've ALWAYS been more than satisfied.  I trust these guys to do only what needs to be done, and do it 100% right.  Plus they explain everything really well and they're nice - what more could you ask for?

I will admit, I know little about cars, and could probably easily be taken.  But when my car wouldn't start as I tried to leave to go to work, I had to do something.  I searched online for a Honda mechanic near me and found this place with good reviews. Bonus, it opened early at 7:30am.

So I got my car there first thing in the morning and they saw me right away, with no appointment.  My car was being inspected within two minutes of speaking with the front desk staff. Amazing speed of service!

Within thirty minutes or so they had an answer for me of what was wrong with my car--my battery was dead and needed to be replaced.  They also agreed to do an oil change for me.

They noticed a few other things that they brought to my attention but did not pressure me into a service or to buy. They explained the issue and presented me with choices, and let me decide. I have an older car (1998) so everything they brought to my attention was reasonable and they went so far as to actually bring me out into the shop to show me what they were talking about. This really boosted my confidence that I wasn't being swindled... They weren't afraid to show me the damage to the parts that needed replacement, and even my untrained eyes could understand and see what they were saying was true.

The best part? For like 18 months, my parking brake light has been on.  I really thought it was just broken because I can tell when the brake is actually on and I am trying to drive. So I assumed the light was just broken.  The employees here brought it to my attention, and I tried to brush it off as broken.  I was very politely told that no, that was happening because my front brakes were basically gone (scary!!!) I could see from what he showed me that he was right, and agreed to have them fixed/replaced.  When my car was finished and returned to me, the brake light was finally off for the first time in over a year!!!  The reasons this amazes me, is I have had several brake services done elsewhere on my car and that brake light stayed on. It was never addressed with me, and caused me to keep believing the light was what was broken.  Now that I found out it was a brake issue and NOT a light being broken issue, I have to wonder what the heck the other mechanic supposedly did to my brakes, because clearly it wasn't fixing them....

Lastly, as I said I came in with no appointment and needing to get into work ASAP as I start work at 8. I knew I would be late, but had no way to leave my car and return at the end of the day--not to mention I had planned client transports and needed my car for that too.  I let the staff know that it wouldn't really be an option for me to leave my car and return so they immediately agreed to begin work ASAP and see if the repairs could be done quickly.  Once they determined the issue and I agreed to services, they began work immediately.  I was only two hours late to work, which if you have sat in a mechanic's office, you know is miracle.  Did I mention I work a good 20-25 minutes away from the shop? All work was said and done within 1.5 hours, start to finish.

Needless to say, but I will anyway, this place has me sold as a repeat customer. I will be returning next week for more work that I didn't have time for and wasn't urgent.  The fact that they are only open Monday through Friday during regular business hours or so, and the fact that I too work regular business hours doesn't even turn me off to using them.  It is worth having to make adjustments in my schedule for their hours because of their quality service and work. They even offered to get me a discount rate on a rental car for the day and have the rental car pick me up at their shop. Yes, this adds a bit of cost, but for their service, well worth it!  Overall though, their costs are very reasonable!

5/5 stars!

Duncan and the guys always took the best care of my accord and then Acura 3.2 TL. trusted and respected by me for about 10 years now. they also recommended my current Acura specialist I use in Las Vegas. Both are great family run honda/acura specialist. anything from oil to a whole new transmission I have had them do it and done fast and great work with warranty.
