Just bought a used Prius at Lexus of Tucson at the Automall, and the experience was superior.  We worked with George Karahalios, who was professional, knowledgeable, and wanted nothing more than for us to be completely comfortable with our purchase and for it to be right for us. We had been working with another dealership, who ultimately paled in comparison to the service that Lexus of Tucson at  the Automall provided.  We got a great car at a great price, and can feel good about the quality of the cars at this dealership.  They are invested in what they sell, no doubt.  They also value their customers.  We were disappointed that the car only came with one key after the sale was completed, and George called me later the same day to let me know that they would make a new key (expensive smart key) for us free of charge.  This dealership wants to keep their customers long after they have signed on the dotted line.  Thank you, Lexus of Tucson at the Automall!

I have been a customer for 15 years and I started at the speedway location. I moved to the auto mall location because was not treated very well at speedway.  Gene Herndon is a stand up representative at the Auto Mall he always goes over and beyond of taking care of my car and me as a customer.  I can tell that he takes care of all his customers. Check Gene Herndon out you will not be disappointed.

Billy Vickery is a standup service advisor. He's a straight shooter who is honest and doesn't try to sell you on service you don't need. He has made my experience at this Lexus service department very pleasurable. I highly recommend contacting him for any service needs. You won't be disappointed.

After 4 years of frustration at a Lexus dealer in the Phoenix market- I went out of town.

I'm very dealership loyal and tend to buy quite a few cars.  Been in the valley 4.5 years and bought 4 cars already.

Lexus of Tucson at the Automall was great, professional and responsive when the local PHX Lexus dealership was NOT.

Jerry Holbrook is a long term salesperson at the dealership and was very professional.  I have zero problems, we made the deal over the phone, it was so simple.  

I went halfway to Tucson to pick up my car, they offered to deliver it to my front door, but I didn't mind meeting them halfway!

Highly recommended for your next new Lexus!

We are in the market for a new car. This weekend we visited Mercedes and BMW. A friend suggested that we take a look at the GS or LS. We arrived tonight at 545pm. We spent approximately 20 minutes in the showroom looking at cars and not a single sales person approached us. We went to the receptionist and asked to see someone in sales. After 10 minutes of waiting, we left. I guess they were not interested in selling anymore cars for the month. Tonight, they lost a potential customer.

We have bought 3 vehicles from this dealer and I can say that this dealership is fantastic! Their sales department is professional and friendly, and their service department is top notch. Whenever we take our cars in for service, there is a courtesy vehicle available at any time, and they always wash our car, even if we just happen to stop by. All their service personnel are wonderful as well, from the first person to greet you, until your service is finished. They are second to none in my honest opinion.

I have been having my car serviced at Lexus of Tucson at the Auto Mall for many years.  I have had nothing but Great service.  We purchased a 1999 ES 300 and really had never had a problem.  I currently just sold my car and was sad to watch it drive out of the driveway.  Lexus is by far the best car made.  

I would say the sale team at this center is a little less desirable.  I was looking for a used Lexus RX.  I visited the sales department and decided againist what they had at the time.  I looked daily on the Cars.com site and found a couple cars they had listed.  I called the young lady and inquired.  I was told she would find out the status and call me back.  SHE DIDN"T.  I called again and never recieved a call back.  I made several more calls to a young lady in the sales department and she for some reason would never return my calls. I finally broke down and purchased a brand new car, but did not use this dealership.  She was just way to busy to sell me a car.  I guess they do not work on comission or really do not need the business that bad.

Well I can't explain for the prior 2 poor reviews because my experience at Lexus of Tucson at the Automall has been totally first rate!

From my initial consultation with a salesperson to each and every time I get an oil change the staff can't seem to do enough for me!

I'm so pleased with the service that I recommend every one that I know to consider buying a Lexus, (Which also has been a great vehicle), but it's the customer care that I can't stop raving about!

Have no fear, purchase your new Lexus there and expect the royal treatment, I guarantee it!

Wmadras an appointment the day before for 8:00 am  we got there at 7:47 and did not leave until 10:00am. We were there for our first 5,000 mi. Check.  They rotated the tires and did a real fast wash. We have had much better service at our Milwaukee dealers. We looked out side after a long time wait and our car was sitting there  not sure for how long. Wish we had gone to the dealer on Speedway rd.

Can't say enough good things about how the staff here looks out for me. My service consultant is Jim Bingham and he knows my two Lexus vehicles, remembers what services have been done in the recent past, and is always there with the right advice when I bring them in. And get this: in ten years of having my cars serviced there, I've never had to take one back for failure to follow the work order or for less than perfect worksmanship. Plus, GREAT chocolate cookies in the lounge.

I'm giving LOTAM two stars for recurring car troubles.  

In December of 2008Purchased a used, 2002 ES300 there in. Came here because my dad had bought a vehicle from them them a few years earlier.  Car had just above 105,000 miles on it, but I figured hey! It's a Toyota.  Should last forever, right?  

Wrong.  Problems started within my first month of ownership.  Specifically, the CD player stopped working (it ate my Ben Harper...!).  A minor problem, sure, but I'd JUST BOUGHT the car.  Ugh. I took it into a Lexus dealership in Los Angeles, where I moved for grad school, and the mechanics told me it'd cost $800 to fix.  Double Ugh.  So I lived with it.  

Cut to about 6 months later... the car's Check Engine light pops on.   The car's sluggish, stutters when I accelerate, and is all-around scaring me.  It even refuses to start at night in a dark parking lot (I'm a 25 year old who never took karate.   Can we say Evening News, anyone?). So, I take it into  Yelp-reviewed mechanic and he changes *everything* - 6 new Iridium spark plugs, steering hoses, motor mount, etc.  I drive it for a week.   The Check Engine Light pops on.  And on top of this, the rear window won't open.  

I'm a patient person.  Slow to anger and what not.  Hell, a lot of the time I shove down the anger with cookies.  But Keebler couldn't solve this, folks.  So, after having just spent $1600 on repairs, I take the car to be serviced again, this time replacing the starter.  And, you guessed it, no dice.  Check Engine STILL on.  I give Lexus of Tucson a call and explain the situation. After two weeks of phone tag, I have my dad call and the Manager makes the point that since I never took it to a Lexus dealership for service, there's no paper trail, and thus..."  The "...and thus" translates to "You're SOL, lady."  Now, I agree to an EXTENT.  Except that I did have detailed service records and went to places run by Certified mechanics.  I also think it's unreasonable to expect that all car purchasers only service their vehicles at dealerships.  If that were the case, they'd be the only mechanics in the world.  What's more, I'd only put 10k miles on the car, so it's not as if I was putting the car through unreasonable stress.  

Q: "But you live in Los Angeles.  How could Lexus of Tucson help even if they wanted to?"
A: By flying their mechanics to LA, duh (kidding).  I think LOTAM could have helped by selling me car that was sound to begin with.  Apart from that, I would've appreciated a less flippant ("Well, what did you expect?" - Manager) attitude from the service department.  They didn't even have any solutions for my situation ("What do you want me to do about it?" - Manager) apart from me spending even more money on another inspection all over again.  

So, how does this story end?  After 2 years of ownership, $2000 + of out-of-pocket repairs, a year of off-on- Check Engine light troubles, a dead battery, broken CD player, a broken window and 10k miles of driving, I SOLD the car and did the smartest thing ever... bought a HONDA from CARMAX. Lesson learned, Lexus.  Lesson learned.  And I can haz graduation now.  :)
