WOAH! What a sad sack of lying thieves! DO NOT EVEN SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE!

Tried to buy a car and they forced all sorts of strange contracts including arbitration agreement!? Well ge tthis the car they tried to sell us was reacquired as a lemon and when i took the carfax to an actual dealer they said the page about the lemon reacquisition was missing as if someone with access to the system simply deleted the info about this car!

Was it stolen? Was it a lemon and someone lied about the paperwork so these clowns could try and pawn it off on some poor unsuspecting soul? They advertise low prices because thier cars are reacquired lemons, but the people behind this business are even worse. Heres what happens next.

They agree to take a trade in, take my car and let us drive away in a new car, luckily our agreement required a cosigner. Once we realized the documentation on the car they tried to sell us was fraudulent or showed signs of some sort of foul play we refused to complete the deal. Then they asked for the car back and refused to return our car. they threatened to report thier car stolen and claimed they couldnt get our car back.

Eventually they realized we were about to do the same and pulled thier sad pathedic heads out of thier asses and returned the vehicle.

They play christian music and act happy nice and friendly but they are screwing you left and right. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS AT ALL COST!!!

It was my first car-buying experience so I had a lot to learn about sticker price vs. actual cost.. But I know I got a good deal based on KBB. That was not the problem.

Their customer service is terrible.  Over half the time I call, nobody answers.  Several times when I called in, they tried transferring me to someone else and the call dropped.  They are not prompt with taking care of things that you need.

DO NOT GO TO THE ONE ON 51ST AVE AND GLENDALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY!! THEY ARE WORTHLESS LIARS WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I emailed them 2 times and called multiple times and NO ONE ever reached back to me. I finally drove down there (since the cars are much cheaper) and the sales KID knew NOTHING about the car! said it had alloy wheels when in fact they were HUB CAPS said the "pure drive" meant it was a HYBRID.. WRONG! AND then the manager tried to sell me the car with a completely cracked "hub cap' and told me they needed a mechanic to go in an lift the car up, un bolt it to change it out. LIAR! My brother walked right over to the car and popped the hub cap off! The manager told us that "his time is more valuable than ours" since we were still thinking and taking our time about buying and spending over 18K on a car! SO RUDE!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN GLENDALE!!!

The phone doesn't work. Finally got someone to answer on fourth call. The three cars I had interest in from website were sold. Then the guy hung up on me!! I am taking my business elsewhere!!

Called first to see if they still have the car we wanted.   They said there are (4) still available.  Drove 50 min to get there and they had none.   They just want to get you there so they'll try to sell you a different brand car . BAIT and SWITCH car lot.
Stay away from this place!!!   It's GHETTO !!!

Horrible experience at this establishment.  STAY AWAY. They post on Autotrader and then claim those prices are an error.  Then they automatically add $600 for tint plus $500 doc fees. That's after they raise the price.  A total sham.  Going to figure out how to report them.  This is unethical.

Well I bought a vehicle from this place in 2010 and it was not a bad experience, but since then it has really got bad. First off, they say if you refer a customer that buys a vehicle you get $100.00. This is not true, it is a scam and lie. All you get by referring a friend to this place is a earful from your friend on how terrible the management and customer service is there.

Most of the vehicles at this place are previous rental vehicles so they are in bad shape. I bought an Impala in 2010. Days later the electric door locks broke and Equity would not help. I made another mistake just last month and bought a Fusion from this place. Apparently, I did not learn from the first experience here. Same thing, I had to take it to a Ford dealership days later due to issues with the car however that was not the worse thing that occurred.

Equity tell you the "out the door price" then a month later tell you that you need to give them more money or they wont pay for your tags and process them through MVD. They sit on all the MVD paperwork and do not submit your paperwork in a timely manner. My temp plate expires in two days, and I still dont have my license plates. When I call them about it, (when they finally picked up the phone and actually returned my messages) they wanted another $200 to process my paperwork. Furthermore, they make you pay for the renewal on your temp tag. If you dont you risk getting a $500.00 fine if the police pull you over and give you a ticket.

The salesmen are not bad people but the management (the people who make the decisions) are awful con artists. This place advertises the lowest prices online but BEWARE you will pay more in the end. This comes from hidden charges, scams and when you have to take your car to the dealer days later to be repaired.

If Tony, one of the managers talks to you at this place, my suggestion get back in your car and RUN AWAY! Your bank account will thank me later.

Overall, I have purchased several good used cars over the years. Liberty GMC in Peoria do pretty well for a good price. A little more dough on the sticker but there are no hidden costs, con artists there and you dont need to take it back in a couple days to be repaired.

My husband and I were looking for a second car and were having a hard time getting one through the big dealerships. Equity was our last try at getting a vehicle and I am glad we made the choice.
Our sales man Joe was great! He told us to test drive every car we would be interested in to make sure it was something we wanted. He had a great attitude about our 8 test drives especially in the hot Arizona heat. I would recommend Equity for anyone looking for a good deal on a used car.
Ask for Joe, you won't be disappointed!

Just bought a second car from there last week and that experience was as good as the first. Edgar is still there - ask for him.

Just bought a vehicle with them about three weeks ago. Overall, it was a good experience. They are sales guys, not saints, but they were not pushy at all. In fact, they were incredibly reasonable as far as negotiating price. If you are a savvy car shopper, it'll be a good experience.
